Effective training is essential for human teleoperators to deliver satisfactory performance in actual tasks. Teleoperation is naturally a very difficult task due to the absence of naked-eye vision that cripples the cognitive behavior of the remote operator. Camera vision somehow is not a satisfactory substitution. However, training with naked-eye vision feedback may help human teleoperators to learn how to deliver satisfactory performance when they actually interact with camera vision. This study was carried out to further investigate this hypothesis, and to quantitatively supplement it with experimental proofs. For this cause, the recently built telerobotic test-bed between KAIST (Korea) and Saga University(Japan) was reshaped to a telerobotic mini-golf system, which is the trial experiment in this study. The performance of the players with and without naked-eye training was compared and quantitatively evaluated. The effectiveness of training with naked-eye vision was verified as an essential part in training human teleoperators.

KL-Miner [9] is a datamining procedure that, given input data matrix M and a set of parameters, generates patterns of the form R ∼ C/7- Here R and C/γ are categorial attributes corresponding to the columns of M, and 7 is a Boolean condition defined in terms of the remaining colums of M. The pattern R ∼ C/γ means that R and C are strongly correlated on the submatrix of M formed by all the rows of M that satisfy γ. What is meant by "strong correlation" and how are R, C and γ generated is determined by the input parameters of the procedure. KL-Miner conforms to the GUHA principle formulated in [1], It revives two older GUHA procedures described in [2]: it is very much related to CORREL and contains a new implementation of COLLAPS as a module. In this paper, we mention the motivation that leads to designing of KL-Miner, describing our new implementation of COLLAPS and giving application examples that illustrate the main features of KL-Miner.

DNA electronics circuits require an efficient way to accurately position and individually manipulate DNA molecules. The recent development of atomic force microscopy (AFM) seems to be a promising solution. We have recently developed an AFM based augmented reality system. This new system can provide both real-time force feedback and real-time visual feedback during nanomanipulation. We have shown that nano-imprinting and manipulation of nano-particles and nano-rods can be easily performed under assistance of the augmented reality system. In this research, the system's ability is extended to manipulation of DNA molecules. Using a polynomial fitting method, the deformation of DNA molecules is displayed in real time in the augmented reality system during manipulation. Indeed, DNA molecules adopt many different structures including kinks, bends, bulges and distortions. These different structures and inappropriate physical contacts may result in the controversy of DNA conductivity reported over the last decade. The AFM based nanomanipulation system can be used either as a nanolithography tool to make small gap electrodes or a nanomanipulation tool to elongate, deform and cut DNA molecules. The measurement of the conductivity of DNA molecules in their different shapes and structures is a promising method to find conclusive evidences, which verify the electrical conductivity of DNA molecules.
