Natural Language Processing (NLP) is an emerging field that aims to enable machines to understand and interpret human language. Keyword extraction and synonym generation are essential tasks in natural language processing. They play a significant role in information retrieval, text classification, and sentiment analysis. In this paper, we explore three different approaches to keyword extraction and synonym generation: rule-based model, statistical model, and extreme learning machine (ELM) model. We compare the performance of each method on a corpus of text and analyze the strengths and weaknesses of each approach. Our results show that the ELM model outperforms the other two methods in terms of accuracy and efficiency. © 2023 IEEE.

The oil industry is constantly seeking ways to monitor their facilities and equipment in a systematic way with as little human intervention as possible. Currently, monitoring of earth pits is done manually. The Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) Earth Pit Monitoring App is a mobile application that aims to enable HPCL staff to securely log in and monitor their petroleum storage sites and earthing pits. This app will make it easier to monitor all aspects of their operations, including vendors and petrol pump dealers, with timely alerts for any necessary maintenance checks. The research conducted on the modern type of earthing will be beneficial for the petroleum outlets as maintenance time and cost would be reduced due to its durability. Field research at HPCL Petroleum Outlets were conducted to observe the state of earth pits and the method of earthing used. Chemical earthing is a method of grounding electrical equipment by pouring a mixture of bentonite and graphite around a copper or iron rod driven into the ground, creating a low-resistance path for electrical charge to dissipate into the earth. It is used in areas with high soil resistance and where traditional earthing methods are not feasible. Comparison between the GI Earthing used currently, and the Chemical Earthing was drawn by comparing resistance values under different conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper designs and implements a compact server system based on the Raspberry Pi 4B and tailored to specific low-end and budget-constrained environments, such as home offices and small businesses, through the integration of an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) in the system to ensure continuous operation during periods of power failure. Important features include VPN for secure remote access, an ad blocker to increase the efficiency of browsing, a private NAS system with data management in a secured and easily accessible manner, and video streaming capabilities to meet multimedia requirements. Real-time performance monitoring comes through with an OLED display. The paper reflects an integrated approach combining hardware and software components which stress system flexibility, low costs, and reliability. This compact server system allows an efficient, user-friendly, and flexible server infrastructure at small scale by providing a cost-effective alternative to traditional server solutions. © 2024 IEEE.

The increasing adoption of autonomous vehicles has driven the need for robust data management solutions that support real-time operations and ensure vehicle safety and efficiency. This work introduces a cloud-based framework for management of sensor data from autonomous vehicles, focusing on optimizing payload transmission rates. The framework leverages AWS IoT Core and AWS IoT Analytics to ensure efficient data flow from vehicle sensors to cloud storage. This framework demonstrates its potential for scalable deployment in real-world autonomous vehicle networks, contributing to the evolution of connected vehicle technologies and intelligent transport systems. This framework ensures reliable data transmission up to 250 payloads per second, beyond which data loss occurs. © 2025 IEEE.

In an acoustic pervasive wireless sensor network (PWSN), the BASE station plays a vital role in gathering and integrating acoustic sensor data from various nodes, including end and router devices tracking time-driven events. The semantic BASE station is crucial in the IoT landscape as it consolidates data from these networks, enabling thorough sentiment analysis of acoustic signals and yielding insights across domains. A semantic processor at the BASE station is essential for an energy-efficient and intelligent PWSN, managing data collection, integration, signal feature extraction, and publication for model training and sentiment analysis. This paper introduces a novel approach to designing a semantic BASE station, focusing on ontology generation, evaluation, and updates to bolster pervasive wireless sensors in capturing and depicting events and time through an ontological framework. The study addresses challenges in efficiently gathering, integrating, and processing acoustic data from pervasive nodes, proposing a semantic processor at the BASE station to enhance feature extraction and metadata publication. The semantic organization of feature-extracted labeled metadata enables the analysis of comprehensive machine learning (ML) applications such as sentiment analysis, type detection, and environment detection by generating confusion matrix. This study investigates the application of machine learning (ML) techniques in predicting Psychological Well-being outcomes, emphasizing the use of ensemble methods like AdaBoost and Random Forest for enhanced accuracy. With Psychological well-being issues affecting a significant portion of the global population, traditional assessment methods are challenged by issues of accessibility, stigma, and subjectivity. Leveraging data from various surveys, this research compares different ML algorithms, including Logistic Regression and Support Vector Machines, in predicting psychological well-being conditions. The results highlight the superior performance of AdaBoost and Random Forest, particularly when hyperparameters are finely tuned, achieving accuracies up to 0.996. The study underscores the potential of ML in improving psychological well-being interventions by offering precise, unbiased, and accessible diagnostic tools. Future research directions include the integration of multimodal data and the development of models that can suggest personalized treatment plans while ensuring data privacy. This paper advocates for the integration of advanced computational techniques with clinical insights to revolutionize psychological well-being diagnostics and care. © 2024 IEEE.

Bladder cancer is a complex disease and one of the most lethal types of cancer. Recently, some malignancies, including bladder carcinomas, have shown better results with immunotherapy using immune checkpoint inhibitors. Tumor mutational burden (TMB) is a potential biomarker for predicting tumor behavior and immunotherapy response as an outcome. Publicly available clinical data from the bladder cancer of TCGA project is used to analyze correlations of clinical variables with an increased tumor mutation burden (TMB) number compared with those with a lower number of mutations. The threshold for the high mutation burden in the analysis was set at 10 mutations (Mut) per Megabase (Mb). The Chi-Square test (χ2) was used to compare categorical data. Traffic congestion is a critical issue in urban areas, contributing to increased travel time, fuel consumption, and environmental pollution. Traditional traffic signal control methods, such as fixed-time systems, cannot adapt to real-time changes in traffic conditions. This paper presents a novel approach using Deep Q-Networks (DQN) to control traffic signals based on realtime traffic data dynamically. Our simulation environment models a four-way intersection, where vehicle densities and wait times are continuously monitored. The DQN agent optimizes green light durations by minimizing vehicle wait times and maximizing traffic throughput. Extensive simulation results demonstrate that our system significantly reduces congestion and improves traffic flow compared to traditional fixed-time systems. Furthermore, the approach shows potential for real-world applications in urban traffic control systems, particularly in smart cities equipped with Internet of Things (IoT) devices. © 2025 IEEE.

Amidst rapid urbanization and fluctuating climatic patterns, the world witnessed a surge in mosquito-borne diseases, escalating global health concerns. Mosquitoes, often dismissed as mere irritants, are carriers for a spectrum of conditions, including malaria, dengue, and the Zika virus, with WHO reporting large numbers of dengue cases annually. This review delves deep into the observation of mosquito behavior and the challenges in eradicating these pests, emphasizing the inefficacy of singular sensory targeting repellents. This paper introduces a pioneering device, combining the mosquito's affinity towards light with the suffocating effects of metofluthrin, offering a holistic solution. By the combination of advanced engineering with a comprehensive understanding of mosquito behavioral dynamics, this device promises not only to repel but to substantially reduce these vectors, fostering safer indoor spaces. Gauging Deep Learning Archetypal Effectiveness in Haematological Reclamation

This paper project an system for reclamation of medical images in an effective way for the extraction and retrieving of data from large archives is critical. This study aims to improve haematological image reclamation by combining visual-based image reclamation (VBIR) approaches with the GLCM algorithm, specifically for characteristics related to the prostate gland. While previous research has focused on computer-aided methods for Gleason grading, our technique focuses on early-stage feature reclamation across 14 paired glands. The experimental findings, including Bicubic Interpolation The resolution Enrichment with a standard deviation of 12.37, kurtosis of 122.83, and skewness of 2.92, demonstrate improved reclamation performance. Our suggested methodology uses a handmade learning approach that includes critical components such as GLCM contrast and correlation. This extensive feature extraction step includes descriptors for morphology, texture, fractals, and contextual information, which are then subjected to in-dept. statistical analysis to identify significant features. Using an RNN, our technique improves performance somewhat but significantly when compared to alternatives, with time required for execution offering insights into the intricate interaction of stages and the effect of sample variability. These findings not only encourage more research, but also help to advance standard reviews in haematological analysis of images. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.
