A characteristic of the new criteria for TAC/ABET accreditation is the assessment requirements. This part of the new criteria seems daunting to many people. However, assessment of the outcomes of education has always been a part of the university experience through the use of grading. The conventional criteria evaluated this assessment by requiring the school to capture graded student work and create course books with these captured samples in them. By looking at the assessments of the students done by the teachers during a course, an evaluator could come to some conclusions about the quality of teaching being done. The old method is adequate for capturing the outcomes that are directly related to what is now called Criterion 1 Subsection A. The new criteria are more specific about what should be measured and this new specificity is captured in Criterion 1 Subsections B-K Criteria. The new criteria also require assessment data to be presented in a new form, summarized and collated according to the program outcomes;i.e., the new criteria require alignment between the stated outcomes of a program and the curriculum being taught. It is these outcomes that require assessment, and not the sometimes nebulous content of a course that may or may not directly contribute to them. This paper documents a method to begin capturing assessment of our program outcomes by using WebCT on-line testing.

For the protection of buried steel pipeline, it is common practice to coat the pipelines with highly insulating coating and apply a cathodic current to insulate the pipe from the aggressive environment. Cathodic current protects holidays or damaged area of coating which required less current than would be needed for an uncoated pipe, but because of the cathodic reactions evolution will be taken H2 & OH- on holidays which exposed metal to the environment place. This effect is to cause loss bond of coating around the holidays called cathodic disbonding. In this paper we measured cathodic disbonding of three types of coatings at-1.5 V(Cu/CuSO4 ) according to ASTM G8. We studied on cathodic disbonding resistance of petroleum-base, coal tar-base and polyethylene plastic tape coatings. After 30 days immersion in electrolyte it was found that the cathodic disbanding resistance of polyethylene plastic tape coating is lower than others and high cathodic disbonding resistance of coal tar-base coating was observed. We found out that all coatings have disbonded from the primer layer,therefore we focus on the coatings' primer using the AC method to obtain primers and metal characterictics. Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) method is one of the choice to evaluate behavior of coating system, therefore we studied the behavior of above mentioned coatings' primer by EIS at open circuit potential (OCP). The results indicate that high coating and charge transfer resistance belong to the coal tar - base coating which previously had shown a good cathodic disbonding resistance. We found a good relationship between AC & DC experiments.
