Data-recording device for aircraft requires high-speed, high-capacity and non-volatile storage. In the paper, we provide a good solution for high-speed large-capacity data logger. We use FPGA as controller, SDRAM as high-speed data buffer, CF card as a non-volatile data memory and USB2.0 as Communication interface to design a dual-channel data logger. The test results show that the recorder sampling rate is 120MSa/s, single-channel data store rate is 38MB/s, the total capacity is 64GB, and data upload rate is up to 30MB/s. Therefore it meets the expectations.

This Letter presents a novel VQ-based digital image watermarking method. By modifying the conventional GLA algorithm, a codeword-labeled codebook is first generated. Each input image block is then reconstructed by the nearest codeword whose label is equal to the watermark bit. The watermark extraction can be performed blindly. Simulation results show that the proposed method is robust to JPEG compression, vector quantization (VQ) compression and some spatial-domain processing operations.

An efficient distributed algorithm for mobile nodes of wireless sensor network (WSN) is proposed. A smart mobile robot is designed as the special node of WSN, and the nodes of WSN are deployed in the environment as signposts for the robot to follow. We use the RSSI value between the robot and other static nodes as the input of the navigation control system. The mobile robot state and navigation space are denoted by the RSSI potential field. Navigation directions are computed by using fuzzy logic method. To reduce the communication expense, each node within one hop communication range of robot is a distributed navigation unites. Then the fuzzy logic control centre will collect the control outputs from every beacon nodes and calculate the final outputs for mobile robot based on data fusion. The experimental results confirm that the navigation system based on WSN successfully achieved their assigned tasks.

Some approaches, which include iterative reconstruction-reprojection (IRR), projection space iteration reconstruction-reprojection (PSIRR) and other interpolation methods, have already been proposed for the reconstruction of fields including opaque objects. In the IRR, the interpolation operation is performed in the object space during backprojection-reprojection. The errors associated with the interpolation degrade the reconstructed image and may cause divergence unless a large number of rays and views are adopted. In the research of optical test, the testing views are often limited;therefore, the results are usually poor when using the IRR to reconstruct the fields including opaque objects. To improve the reconstruction precision in this case, a new approach is proposed, which is based on the discrete IRR algorithm and the finite impulse response (FIR) lowpass filer (DIRRLF). This filer is used to process the reprojection data between the iterative reconstruction and the reprojection stages. Different window functions and bandwidths are adopted for the lowpass filter. The compared reconstruction results of discrete IRR algorithm and DIRRLF algorithm for an asymmetrical single-peak simulation field including a circle round opaque object are studied with the numerical simulation of computer. The results show that this algorithm has higher reconstruction precision than the discrete IRR algorithm and has a potential application of reconstructing real three-dimensional fields including opaque objects.

We propose a pairwise codebook partitioning technique for robust watermarking based on vector quantization. We group codewords in pairs by similarity. One is labeled '0' and the other labeled '1'. For each image block, we first find the pair that owns the nearest codeword. The watermark is then embedded by selecting from the pair the codeword whose label equals the corresponding watermark bit. The extraction process can be performed blindly. Simulation results show that the proposed method can survive JPEG compression, high-quality VQ compression and some common signal processing operations.
