Homoclinic snake always refers to the branches of homoclinic orbits near a heteroclinic cycle connecting a hyperbolic or non-hyperbolic equilibrium and a periodic orbit in a reversible variational system. In this paper, the normal form of a Swift-Hohenberg equation with two different symmetry-breaking terms (non-reversible term and non-k-symmetry term) are investigated by using multiple scale method, and their bifurcation diagrams are initially studied by numerical simulations. In recent years, the design of all-optical circuits has received a great attention among the researchers due to high-speed and low-power characteristics and compatibility with CMOS technology. Some combinational logic circuits like adders, subtractors, multipliers, multiplexers, which are useful in optical communication network in data centers and high-perform computers, have been designed using optical components. There are two different design styles, called as Design1 (based on conventional truth-table based approach) and Design2 (based on binary decision diagram). In this paper, four different all-optical multipliers have been explored for array multiplier and carry save adder (CSA)-based multiplier based on these two design styles, using semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) based Mach-Zender interferometers (MZIs). Simulation results confirm that MZI-based CSA multiplier Design1) has the lowest optical cost and delay compared to those of other three multiplier designs (CSA multiplier - Design2, array multiplier - Design1, array multiplier - Design2) with a precision of 2 or more bits. Further, the proposed all-optical CSA multiplier designs outperform in terms of both optical cost and delay compared to the state-of-the-art designs of all-optical multipliers.

The Internet of Things (IoT), where internet connections are extended to every-day objects, enables collaboration, monitoring, and remote control. An IoT can make a home smart at least in the sense that those in it can be monitored. The question arises of how much and what kind of data are needed to monitor a person as they move about a smart home. This paper focuses on affordances, manifest possibilities for action provided by the environment (e.g., the appearance of a doorknob). Our thesis is that, since the same things are affordances for the monitored and monitoring persons, a little data goes a long way in monitoring a subject's interaction with affordances. This paper describes a scaled-down model of a floor in a smart home equipped with only passive infrared (PIR) motion sensors where nevertheless the data allows high-level interpretation of the subject's activities on that floor.

Thus, the SWEBOK has very little guidance for the emerging role. The focus of the innovators will be to improve the business processes as well as study the business practice to learn the concealed requirements of the customer. This paper is an attempt to analyze the existing proposals on the SWEBOK contents, structure, and make a proposal on what kind of contents it should have, and how it should be structured so that the innovators as well as in-house and software contractors can have proper guidance and can benefit from it.

Nowadays, Dynamic industries like tourism is a enhance to boost many countries economy in recent years. The hotel sector leads to a significant role among all aspects of the tourism industry. Online travel platforms, in association with hotel management, are a part of hotel E-tourism that helps users to make travel plans online, suggest precise recommendations in consideration with the earlier feedbacks upon hotel stay. From the past few months, the user roaming ratio falls rapidly due to the COVID-19 Pandemic across the globe. In a business concern, this Pandemic affects all tourism sectors, specifically in the hotels' occupancy. To retain business positions and attract the users in these problematic scenarios, hotel and travel platform management concerns about past preferences of users, which have a significant impact on gratification for a comfortable stay. The current market trends show that user reviews are playing a vital role to select a hotel based on a safe location. Our work tries to find and recommend the dimensions that contribute more towards higher satisfaction levels of users in Asian continental top tourism city hotels listed by the Master and VISA Inc survey with item collaborative filtering and regression techniques based on Tripadvisor reviews from social media in recent times. The outcome of the work is helpful for Asian continental hotel management to concentrate more on the dimensions for obtaining better reviews. From an online travel platform perspective, this work suggests the contexts for the travel recommender system to gain things effectively from users.
