This paper contributes to the current literature of Grid computing research by introducing Virtual Private Grid (VPG) concept and corresponding supporting environment, which not only deal with the Grid resource management as carried out by most researches but also take into account the network security issues for Grid application. This paper tends to promote VPG from the management point of view by exploring policy-based management method. More concern is assigned to the private part of the VPG by employing virtual private networks (VPN) technology while leaving the Grid resource management to the Grid tool Globus. An early experiment exemplifies the current implementation status and its feasibility. This paper presents a first step towards VPG and plenty of work is ongoing.

<正>A framework is proposed for enterprise automated call routing system development and large scalable natural language call routing application deployment based on IBM’s speech recognition and NLU application engagement practices in recently years. To facilitate employing different call classification algorithms in an easy integration manner,this framework architecture provides a plug & play environment for evaluating promising call routing algorithms and a systematic approach to carry out a large scalable enterprise application deployment. The paradigm in this paper illustrates the complementary effort to develop an automatic call routing application for enterprise call centers and covers from call classification algorithm investigation to application programming model. Experimental results on a live data testing set collected from an enterprise call center shows that the performance of the call classification algorithm implemented in this framework is outstanding.

For vocal tract length normalization in speaker-independent speech recognition,a novel feature extraction method is carried out on the generalized time-frequency representation with coneshaped kernel(CK-GTFR) and Mellin transform. The GTFR is superior to other representations in suppressing cross terms and producing good time and frequency resolution *** transform makes the features insensitive to different vocal tract lengths.F-ratio tests show that features in this paper have the highest separation ability comparing to FFT cepstrum or FFT-Mellin cepstrum, and are superior to Mel cepstrum in most cases.

Full adders are important elements in applications such as DSP architectures and *** this paper,we propose a technique to build a total of 41 new 10-transistor full adders using novel XOR and XNOR gates in combination with existing *** have done over 10000 HSPICE simulation runs of all the different adders in different input patterns,frequencies,and load *** all those new adders consume less power in high frequencies, while three new adders consistently consume on average 10%less power and have higher speed compared with the previous 10-transistor full adder and the conventional 28-transistor CMOS adder.
