This paper presents a modular solid state transformer (SST) design incorporating dual active bridge and cascaded H-Bridge topologies to enhance electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. By using modular design concept for the power cell hardware, the proposed SST can be suitable for industrial usage with low manufacturing cost, and low maintenance complexity. With various combinations of the power cells, the whole SST converter has high flexibility for the power scale and circuit topology. This guarantees the fast installation and high transportability of the SST, suitable for the high-demanded EV charging applications. The design detail of the busbar used for the SST has been presented, which shows how to reduce the stray inductance of the busbar while keeping its high current conduction ability and high insulation. To validate the high current conduction ability of the busbar, finite element analysis is conducted to assess busbar current density and temperature. Finally, an advanced control strategy is introduced to effectively reduce DC link ripple, eliminating the need for bulky components. © 2024 IEEE.

The modern world is filled with stress, worry, and pressure, among other things. People can't perform at their highest level as a result, which lowers economic production and raises stress levels. This study examines the working conditions for employees physical and emotional wellbeing. It is examined whether a patient should be treated of his mental illness or not according to the values obtained in the dataset such as self-employment, previous mental health conditions in the employee's family, whether the organisation is providing advantageous life benefits, is the employee currently undergoing any treatment for mental condition etc by applying various Machine Learning techniques. The 'Open Sourcing Mental Illness (OSMI) Mental Health dataset' was used in this study. This data is used to train the proposed model using several techniques, such as Linear Regression, KNN, Decision Trees and Random Forest to find the factors each person is targeted for. Ensemble Technique is applied for increasing the accuracy of the results. The main purpose of this data analysis is to raise general awareness of workplace issues connected to mental health, which will assist to decrease the number of persons who experience mental diseases. This gives an approximate idea of how employees in both the technical as well as non-technical organisations are impacted. Whether or not mental health is taken into account and whether a person needs any medical assistance or not. © 2023 IEEE.

The spread of false health news and its dis-semination on the internet has become a major concern, due to its potential to have disastrous effects. To detect it, numerous approaches have been attempted. However, we are aware of very few studies that have sought to identify health related false information in Bangla. In this study, we have analyzed the performance of various Machine Learning and Deep Learning approaches in detecting Bangla health-related misinformation that is available online. We have created a comprehensive data repository, consisting more than 5000 data, manually annotated to two fixed categories. Several supervised machine learning classifiers and Deep Learning algorithms have been employed in this experiment to detect fake health news at the textual level. Our experiment achieves maximum accuracy of 88% in the Passive Aggressive approach and 89% in the Bi-LSTM approach. We believe that our dataset is a significant collection of health-related data in Bangla. It may open up new perspectives for the analysis of Bangla-language and health misinformation detection. © 2023 IEEE.

Machine learning is a branch of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and computer technology which address on the usage or application of data and Algorithms to emulate the style that humans learn, gradually improving its accuracy. By understanding this statement humans are not associated with machine learning, once the system is deployed by them. Once the whole system is installed in the software through algorithm or coding, the machine adapts the order and continues accordingly without hindering little things like Sleeping, fatigue like humans and can work for long time and can operate it 24/7, with repetition. But the system must be kept up-to-date. E-commerce or electronic commerce is the trading of goods and services, or transmitting of funds or data, over an electronic network, primarily in internet. In this paper, we will explore the crucial role that machine learning plays in the e-commerce sector, highlighting its impact on various aspects of digital commerce and its importance for organizations in the contemporary business landscape. © 2024 IEEE.

To suppress the resonance in an LCL filter, the passive damping method is often favored over the active damping due to its simplicity and robustness. However, the passive damping suffers from decreasing LCL filter's effectiveness in suppressing high-frequency harmonics and introducing power losses. In this paper, a new passive damping method is proposed for the three-phase four-leg shunt active power filter (SAPF) system, by adding resistors between the neutral line and the connection point of the three-phase lines. The selection of the damping resistor is guided by criteria that aim to minimize power losses while ensuring good stability characteristics. The SAPF system with the proposed passive damping demonstrates excellent attenuation of switching frequency harmonics and significant mitigation of interphase switching interference, enhancing harmonic compensation for nonlinear loads. The mathematical model based on single-phase equivalent circuit and control strategy of three-phase four-leg SAPF are analyzed respectively. Simulations and experiments with imbalanced loads are constructed to validate the theoretical analysis. © 2024 IEEE.

Static Context Header Compression and Fragmentation (SCHC) is a standard defined as an adaptation layer for supporting IPv6, UDP, and CoAP protocols in low power wide area network (LPWAN) technologies. SCHC has fragmentation modes that use confirmation mechanisms to deliver reliable communications. Direct-to-satellite Internet of Things (DtS-IoT) directly communicates between end devices and the satellite in an IoT environment. If SCHC is implemented in a DtSIoT environment, applications using IPv6 could have global coverage through the Internet of Things (IoT). Unfortunately, it is not known whether SCHC can operate with the current acknowledgement mechanisms in a DtS-IoT environment, and if so, it is not known which one performs better. This work evaluates SCHC acknowledgement modes for ACK-on-Error fragmentation mode, including the new SCHC Compound ACK mode. It determines which mode has the lowest transfer delay for different LoRa data rates and frame error rates in a DtS-IoT environment with LEO satellites. © 2024 IEEE.

The study focuses on Quality of Service (QoS) issues in learning automata-based AODV (LA-AODV) for V2V communication protocols. It analyzes and compares the LAAODV protocol with the original AODV protocol in dynamic traffic situations. The study evaluates critical metrics such as the number of vehicles, average speed, congestion spots, and vehicle time loss across various traffic scenarios, including smooth traffic, steady flow traffic, and heavy traffic. NS3 and SUMO are used as essential tools for this evaluation. The study finds that the LA-AODV protocol performs better in smooth traffic conditions than AODV. It demonstrates a 38.27% higher packet delivery ratio (PDR), an 85.26% lower packet loss ratio (PLR), and a remarkable 56.62% increase in average throughput compared to AODV. Both protocols exhibit similar performance in steady flow traffic with high PDRs (97.60% and 96.87%, respectively) and low PLRs (2% and 3%, respectively). However, AODV outshines LA-AODV with a higher PDR (97.60%)) than LA-AODV (96.87%) in heavy traffic. LA-AODV, on the other hand, excels in average throughput by 17.24% in heavy traffic. The study offers valuable insights for improving V2V communication protocols and enhancing communication efficiency to handle dynamic and traffic situations. © 2024 IEEE.
