Hybrid and dependent task scheduling algorithm for on-board system software

In order to solve the hybrid and dependent task scheduling and critical source allocation problems, a task scheduling algorithm has been developed by first presenting the tasks, and then describing the hybrid and dependent scheduling algorithm and deriving the predictable schedulability condition. The performance of this agorithm was evaluated through simulation, and it is concluded from the evaluation results that the hybrid task scheduling subalgorithm based on the comparison factor can be used to solve the problem of aperiodic task being blocked by periodic task in the traditional operating system for a very long time, which results in poor scheduling predictability; and the resource allocation subalgorithm based on schedulability analysis can be used to solve the problems of critical section conflict, ceiling blocking and priority inversion; and the scheduling algorithm is nearest optimal when the abortable critical section is 0.6.

The studies show that numerous complex networks have clustering *** is an indispensable step to identify node clusters in network,namely community,in which nodes are closely related,and in many applications such as identification of ringleaders in anti-criminal and anti-terrorist network,efficient storage of data in Wireless Sensor Network(WSN).At present,most of community identification methods still require the specifications of the number or the scale of community by user and still can not handle overlapping *** an attempt to solve these problems,a network community identification method based on utility value is proposed,which is a function of each node's clustering coefficient and *** method makes use of individual-centered theory for reference and can automatically determine the number of *** addition,this method is an overlapping community identification method in *** is shown through contrastive experiments that this method is more efficient than other methods based on individual-centered theory when they control the same amount of ***,a research direction is proposed for network community identification method based on the individual-centered theory.

Community discovery of complex networks,*** social networks,has been a hotly debated topic in academic circles in recent *** actual networks usually contain some overlapping nodes that are difficult to assign to a certain community,overlapping community discovery is under great demand in practical ***,at present network community discovery is mainly done by non-overlapping community discovery methods,overlapping discovery methods are not *** this context,an overlapping community discovery method is proposed hereby based on topological potential and specific algorithms are also *** method not only considers the spread of the uncertainty of community identity of the overlapping nodes in the network,but also realizes a quantified representation,i.e.,uncertainty measure,of the community identity of the overlapping *** experiment results show that this method yields the results that are consistent with those by the classic methods and are more reasonable.

Rapid and easy transaction through credit card system has increased fallacious cases everywhere. Machine Learning algorithms has been applied for identifying fraudulent transactions. Fraud detection problem have two major issues, firstly, the legitimate and fraudsters consistently change behaviour and secondly, datasets are severely skewed. Implementation of the system littered with machine learning algorithms, excerpting variables and sampling accession on datasets. This paper investigates the performance of Logistic Regression, Random Forest, Decision Tree and SVM (Support Vector Machine). The proposed system shows results according to accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, precision of above techniques. Transactions in the dataset are heavily right skewed. Undersampling and oversampling is conducted on the data. The work is implemented in Python. © 2019 IEEE.

Significant progress has been made throughout the detection of Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) over the past few decades because of the utilization of Deep-Learning (DL) techniques. Accurate and economical identification of DR using Fundus Images (FI) is made possible by combining state-of-the-art methods for image-processing, feature-extraction, and classification algorithms. This survey aims to explore and analyze the latest developments in preprocessing, feature extraction, and classification approaches, highlighting their key ideas and contributions. Novel approaches to feature extraction, involving traditional handcrafted features and DL-based methods, are investigated to capture relevant characteristics of DR lesions effectively. Furthermore, the survey explores diverse classification algorithms, including Support-Vector-Machines (SVM), Convolutional-Neural-Networks (CNNs), and ensemble methods, which enable accurate categorization of DR severity levels. This survey provides valuable insights into the state-of-the-art methodologies for DR detection, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of the key approaches and innovations in preprocessing, feature extraction, and classification techniques. © 2023 IEEE.

Performance improvement of software component with partial evaluation

To avoid the complexity and inefficiency for specific applications of the current software architecture, a novel approach using partial evaluation is proposed to improve the running performance of components. The generic program was specialized into domain-specific realization for the known knowledge and environments. The syntax and semantic(adj.) were analyzed based on byte code instruction sequences, and partial evaluation rules depicted how to perform the specialization. The partial evaluation for object-oriented programs was implemented. The experimental results show that partial evaluation is effective to speed up the running efficiency. The more generality and scalability can be obtained by the integration of partial evaluation with the favorable design mechanisms and compiler optimization technology.

Zeroth-order (ZO) optimization, in which the derivative is unavailable, has recently succeeded in many important machine learning *** algorithms rely on finite difference (FD) methods for derivative estimation and gradient descent (GD)-based approaches for ***, these algorithms suffer from query inefficiency because many additional function queries are required for derivative estimation in their every GD update, which typically hinders their deployment in real-world applications where every function query is *** this end, we propose a trajectory-informed derivative estimation method which only employs the optimization trajectory (i.e., the history of function queries during optimization) and hence can eliminate the need for additional function queries to estimate a ***, based on our derivative estimation, we propose the technique of dynamic virtual updates, which allows us to reliably perform multiple steps of GD updates without reapplying derivative *** on these two contributions, we introduce the zeroth-order optimization with trajectory-informed derivative estimation (ZORD) algorithm for query-efficient ZO *** theoretically demonstrate that our trajectory-informed derivative estimation and our ZORD algorithm improve over existing approaches, which is then supported by our real-world experiments such as black-box adversarial attack, non-differentiable metric optimization, and derivative-free reinforcement learning. © 2023 11th International Conference on Learning Representations, ICLR 2023. With the arrival of the 5G era,wireless communication technologies and services are rapidly exhausting the limited spectrum *** auctions came into being,which can effectively utilize spectrum *** of the complexity of the electronic spectrum auction network environment,the security of spectrum auction can not be *** scholars focus on researching the security of the single-sided auctions,while ignoring the practical scenario of a secure double spectrum auction where participants are composed of multiple sellers and *** begin to design the secure double spectrum auction mechanisms,in which two semi-honest agents are introduced to finish the spectrum auction *** these two agents may collude with each other or be bribed by buyers and sellers,which may create security risks,therefore,a secure double spectrum auction is proposed in this *** traditional secure double spectrum auctions,the spectrum auction server with Software Guard Extensions(SGX)component is used in this paper,which is an Ethereum blockchain platform that performs spectrum auctions.A secure double spectrum protocol is also designed,using SGX technology and cryptographic tools such as Paillier cryptosystem,stealth address technology and one-time ring signatures to well protect the private information of spectrum *** addition,the smart contracts provided by the Ethereum blockchain platform are executed to assist offline verification,and to verify important spectrum auction information to ensure the fairness and impartiality of spectrum ***,security analysis and performance evaluation of our protocol are discussed.
