With the arrival of the 5G era,wireless communication technologies and services are rapidly exhausting the limited spectrum *** auctions came into being,which can effectively utilize spectrum *** of the complexity of the electronic spectrum auction network environment,the security of spectrum auction can not be *** scholars focus on researching the security of the single-sided auctions,while ignoring the practical scenario of a secure double spectrum auction where participants are composed of multiple sellers and *** begin to design the secure double spectrum auction mechanisms,in which two semi-honest agents are introduced to finish the spectrum auction *** these two agents may collude with each other or be bribed by buyers and sellers,which may create security risks,therefore,a secure double spectrum auction is proposed in this *** traditional secure double spectrum auctions,the spectrum auction server with Software Guard Extensions(SGX)component is used in this paper,which is an Ethereum blockchain platform that performs spectrum auctions.A secure double spectrum protocol is also designed,using SGX technology and cryptographic tools such as Paillier cryptosystem,stealth address technology and one-time ring signatures to well protect the private information of spectrum *** addition,the smart contracts provided by the Ethereum blockchain platform are executed to assist offline verification,and to verify important spectrum auction information to ensure the fairness and impartiality of spectrum ***,security analysis and performance evaluation of our protocol are discussed.

One of the significant problems faced by dementia group homes is the high caregiver turnover rate. In particular, there is an urgent need to prevent the turnover of new caregivers and work toward ensuring and improving the quality of care. To address this issue, we are developing a care method support system that utilizes two databases: a personal attributes database and a care case database ([1]-[3]). The personal attributes database extracts personal attributes such as hobbies and previous occupations of residents from care records and care conference minutes. The care case database extracts cases of resident problems, their solutions, and the original text containing them. The care method support system presents candidates for appropriate responses to problems faced by residents based on these databases. In this study, we generated two care suggestion models: Care Suggestion Model: This model applies text similarity to the care case database to suggest candidates for appropriate responses to unregistered problems. Personalized Care Suggestion Model: This model applies clustering to the personal attributes database and generates a care suggestion model that considers personal attributes. We compared the two models and tested the usefulness of the model. © 2024 IEEE.

This study revolves around delving into the realm of dynamic preferences within the context of the Stable Marriage Problem (SMP). While the Gale-Shapley algorithm necessitates a time complexity of O(n^{2}) to solve an SMP with static preferences, the pursuit of identifying stable matchings under dynamic preferences becomes significantly more time-intensive, entailing a time complexity of O(k\cdot n!\cdot n^{2}). The majority of the process involved in discovering stable matchings under dynamic preferences revolves around iterative searching. This circumstance motivates us to develop a database comprising SMP instances and their corresponding stable matchings. This database facilitates a reduction in the time required to uncover static stable matchings from O(n^{2}) to O(n). Additionally, our application incorporates several features that enhance users' comprehension of stable matching structures within SMP instances, including visualization through a lattice structure. © 2023 IEEE.

Public transport services are essential for any citizen but critical for those with visual disorders. Many projects have been created to help blind people overpass public transport services' inherent barriers and ensure their independence. However, the most powerful ones are usually based on complex design, making them hard to deploy, maintain, or extend, creating new problems for users in the future. This paper discusses an easy to deploy, maintain and extend tool for guiding visually impaired users on a bus journey, including IoT features for tracking vehicles and virtually requesting stops. The presented tool is based on an application server centralised design, which implements popular open data schemas and communication protocols for ensuring it is easy to be deployed, maintained and extended. The proposed design has been checked and tested by the construction of a prototype, measuring the accuracy and response times in a real public transport network, showing that this tool use is possible with a very low investment. © 2022 IEEE.

The study focuses on Quality of Service (QoS) issues in learning automata-based AODV (LA-AODV) for V2V communication protocols. It analyzes and compares the LAAODV protocol with the original AODV protocol in dynamic traffic situations. The study evaluates critical metrics such as the number of vehicles, average speed, congestion spots, and vehicle time loss across various traffic scenarios, including smooth traffic, steady flow traffic, and heavy traffic. NS3 and SUMO are used as essential tools for this evaluation. The study finds that the LA-AODV protocol performs better in smooth traffic conditions than AODV. It demonstrates a 38.27% higher packet delivery ratio (PDR), an 85.26% lower packet loss ratio (PLR), and a remarkable 56.62% increase in average throughput compared to AODV. Both protocols exhibit similar performance in steady flow traffic with high PDRs (97.60% and 96.87%, respectively) and low PLRs (2% and 3%, respectively). However, AODV outshines LA-AODV with a higher PDR (97.60%)) than LA-AODV (96.87%) in heavy traffic. LA-AODV, on the other hand, excels in average throughput by 17.24% in heavy traffic. The study offers valuable insights for improving V2V communication protocols and enhancing communication efficiency to handle dynamic and traffic situations. © 2024 IEEE.

Watermarking is a technique used to assert ownership over an image, and can be categorized into visible and invisible forms based on the detectability of the watermark. Visible watermarking is more user-friendly and intuitive than invisible methods since it allows individuals to identify image ownership with their own eyes rather than relying on machine-based watermark decoders. To enhance the visual quality of watermarked images and ensure the original images can be fully recovered after visible watermark authentication, a visible watermark removal approach using deep learning-based inpainting is proposed in this paper. Experimental results demonstrate that the watermarked images carrying the visible watermark and auxiliary information achieve peak signal-to-noise ratios (PSNRs) ranging from 41.89 dB to 43.17 dB and structural similarity indices (SSIMs) up to 0.97 to 0.98. Furthermore, our hybrid recovery operations enable the complete restoration of the original images, making them easily readable. © 2023 IEEE.

The identification of feelings sent via one's voice has evolved from a niche field into an essential part of humancomputer interaction (HCI). These systems seek to facilitate more natural interactions between humans and machines by favouring direct voice interaction over the use of conventional input devices in order to comprehend verbal information and to make it simpler for human listeners to respond. A few examples include the use of emotion patterns derived from speech in medical applications, dialogue systems for spoken languages such as those used in cell phone call centres, onboard driving systems in automobiles, and the usage of such patterns in other contexts. In the research that has been done on speech emotion recognition (SER), a variety of methods, many of which are considered to be industry standards in speech analysis and classification, have been applied to the process of extracting emotions from signals. The most crucial stages of the speech emotion recognition (SER) process are the phases that deal with the extraction of features and the categorization of features. For the purpose of speech processing, researchers have developed a variety of features, including prosodic features, vocal traction features, and other hybrid features. The second step involves the categorization of features through the application of deep learning methods. These methods have just lately been put up as a potential replacement for SER's more conventional methods. © 2022 IEEE.
