The conventional approach for calculating individual optimal strategies assumes that the best control actions are calculated for the same object that has been studied monitoring or active trials. However, the class of...

1. Introduction: In connection with the introduction of new Federal state educational standards of higher education (FSES) to teachers of geometry graphic departments there was a problem with the revision of the contents and methodology of teaching disciplines 'descriptivegeometry', 'Engineering and computergraphics', foundations of engineering education aimed at formation of basic knowledge for studying of the subsequent disciplines used graphic representation of information. The analysis of special literature has indicated that, despite the significant number of scientific publications on the research topic, the use of modeling in teaching geometric-graphic disciplines requires separate research. 2. Materials and methods: Study and analysis of scientific, educational and special literature on the research topic, comparison, systematization, synthesis, generalization. 3. Results: To implement modern teaching methods in the educational process in the geometric-graphic disciplines, the author applied the functionality of the system KOMPAS-3D and developed by: electronic slides based on the modeling included in the evaluation funds for engineering and computergraphics; set a clear three-dimensional (3D) models of twenty-assemblies products intended for assignments on practical and laboratory lessons on the computer in the system KOMPAS-3D to create an Assembly and working drawings; set of individual tasks designed to practical assignments on the computer in this system to create 2D-models of assemblies (Assembly drawings) and 2D models details (working drawings), associated with their three-dimensional models. 4. Discussion and Conclusions: Design and creation of didactic materials based on three-dimensional and flat modeling tools, methods and algorithms of computergraphics in the system KOMPAS-3D, their use in teaching geometric-graphic disciplines, the inclusion in the evaluation funds on descriptivegeometry, engineering and computergraphics, contributes to t

AIM:To apply the multifractal analysis method as a quantitative approach to a comprehensive description of the microvascular network architecture of the normal human ***:Fifty volunteers were enrolled in this study in the Ophthalmological Clinic of Cluj-Napoca,Romania,between January 2012 and January 2014. A set of 100 segmented and skeletonised human retinal images, corresponding to normal states of the retina were studied. An automatic unsupervised method for retinal vessel segmentation was applied before multifractal analysis. The multifractal analysis of digital retinal images was made with computer algorithms, applying the standard boxcounting method. Statistical analyses were performed using the Graph Pad In Stat ***:The architecture of normal human retinal microvascular network was able to be described using the multifractal geometry. The average of generalized dimensions(D_q)for q=0,1,2,the width of the multifractal spectrum(Δα=α_(max)-α_(min))and the spectrum arms' heights difference(│Δf│)of the normal images were expressed as mean±standard deviation(SD):for segmented versions,D_0=1.7014±0.0057; D_1=1.6507±0.0058; D_2=1.5772±0.0059; Δα=0.92441±0.0085; │Δf│= 0.1453±0.0051; for skeletonised versions,D_0=1.6303±0.0051; D_1=1.6012±0.0059; D_2=1.5531± 0.0058; Δα=0.65032±0.0162; │Δf│= 0.0238±0.0161. The average of generalized dimensions(D_q)for q=0,1,2,the width of the multifractal spectrum(Δα)and the spectrum arms' heights difference(│Δf│)of the segmented versions was slightly greater than the skeletonised ***:The multifractal analysis of fundus photographs may be used as a quantitative parameter for the evaluation of the complex three-dimensional structure of the retinal microvasculature as a potential marker for early detection of topological changes associated with retinal diseases.

The purpose of this paper was to describe the 3 D nano-scaled surface topography of the aluminum nitride on sapphire. The structures were prepared by magnetron sputtering with heating of the sapphire substrate. The dependence of the layers topography on the substrate temperature was presented. Surface appearance was studied by atomic force microscopy(AFM). The quantitative topography data from AFM were used for surface characterization by fractal analysis and statistical parameters. The results of fractal analysis show the correlation of fractal dimension and statistical characteristics of surface topography. The data may contribute to manufacture of AlN thin films with desired surface characteristics.

The article presents the results of experimental research of thermal processes in industrial premises with energy-saving technologies of heating and their analysis by geometric modeling tools and graphic computer technologies. The effectiveness of using the method of forced feeding of air heated by infrared emitter involving compromise graphical optimization was analyzed by geometric way.
This paper proposes a method for identifying image fragments presented by a multiresponse piecewise-linear model of segments and corner points, which considers the geometric and color contour. The method can improve t...

With a view to ensuring the market success, the today's product development must be done in an intelligent manner and must be focused on the process integration. In this way, the present paper approaches a new point of view regarding the concept of Group Technology (GT). The new idea is based on integrating GT with the concept of Constructive-Technological Entity (CTE), resulting an innovative system, extremely efficient for product development. The difference to the traditional concept of GT is that the authors propose giving up grouping the parts into part families and using instead Series of Constructive-Technological Entities (CTE). This new approach allows an innovative use of GT in process plan (CAPP/CAM) as well as in product design (CAD). In this way, the design for manufacture, as a side of concurrent engineering, is facilitated.
