This research conducted to explore the role of Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah in the context of overcoming and eliminating tuberculosis (TB) through advocation, communication, social mobilization and sustainability of the community of TB care in Makassar city. This research used a qualitative approach through a deep interview with the key informant, namely coordinator and advocacy, communication, social mobilization staff program community in the TB care unit of south Sulawesi Aisyiyah. The purposive technique is used in informant selection to get more accurate data and the most suitable information source. This research produced a model of implementation in advocation, communication, social mobilization and program continuation activity in Aisyiyah Makassar TB care community. This research also described and identified the elements (institution or agency) involved in the implementation of Aisyiyah Makassar TB care community. The overall advocacy activity is an effort to present sustainable TB prevention or elimination. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. All rights reserved.

ABSTRACTABSTRACTAll-terrain vehicle (ATV) crashes are one of the leading causes of death and injury in agriculture across the United States. Use of ATVs is highly prevalent in rural areas and has seen an increase in their application for a variety of agricultural work tasks. Empirical research on the use of these vehicles for agricultural tasks and associated injuries is limited, especially in the United States. Moreover, little is known about the risk factors associated with ATV-related injuries while doing farm work. A comprehensive review was conducted to evaluate the current injury burden of ATV use in agriculture, the need for future research, and possible solutions related to agricultural ATV safety. Potential injury prevention approaches are evaluated based on the hierarchy of control, including elimination or substitution (using side-by-side vehicles instead of ATVs or modifying ATV design), engineering control (operator protection devices), administrative authority (regulations and standards in the United States and around the world), training, and use of personal protective equipment. In addition, vehicle nomenclature, risk factors, and crash mechanisms are reviewed. Recommendations to decrease the likelihood of ATV crashes and injuries are provided.

The community service program by the empowerment of coconut farmers model in Kabaena Island is motivated by a sense of concern that many coconut farmer who have difficulty in processing their coconut fruit because the price of copra is very cheap which causes losses to farmers. The aim of the program was to form a partnership of coconut farmers with the cooperative to process the coconut into Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO), so that the farmers get more favorable price from selling their coconut fruit. The program was held on January to April 2019 in Kabaena Island which is consisted of six sub-districts namely Kabaena, South Kabaena, West Kabaena, North Kabaena, Central Kabaena, and East Kabaena district. The method used consisted of several phases namely;(1) problem and potential identification;(2) program socialization;(3) Group Formation;(4) Workshop on VCO processing techniques;(5) result inspection;(6) Evaluation and Reflection. The outcome of this program was the formation of two coconut farmer group with 20 members. The VCO result obtained was based on the laboratory analysis of PT Saraswanti Indo Genetech which in accordance to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. Southeast (SE) Asia is a highly biodiverse region, yet it is also estimated to cumulatively contribute a third of the total global marine plastic pollution. This threat is known to have adverse impacts on marine megafauna, however, understanding of its impacts has recently been highlighted as a priority for research in the region. To address this knowledge gap, a structured literature review was conducted for species of cartilaginous fishes, marine mammals, marine reptiles, and seabirds present in SE Asia, collating cases on a global scale to allow for comparison, coupled with a regional expert elicitation to gather additional published and grey literature cases which would have been omitted during the structured literature review. Of the 380 marine megafauna species present in SE Asia, but also studied elsewhere, we found that 9.1 % and 4.5 % of all publications documenting plastic entanglement (n = 55) and ingestion (n = 291) were conducted in SE Asian countries. At the species level, published cases of entanglement from SE Asian countries were available for 10 % or less of species within each taxonomic group. Additionally, published ingestion cases were available primarily for marine mammals and were lacking entirely for seabirds in the region. The regional expert elicitation led to entanglement and ingestion cases from SE Asian countries being documented in 10 and 15 additional species respectively, highlighting the utility of a broader approach to data synthesis. While the scale of the plastic pollution in SE Asia is of particular concern for marine ecosystems, knowledge of its interactions and impacts on marine megafauna lags behind other areas of the world, even after the inclusion of a regional expert elicitation. Additional funding to help collate baseline data are critically needed to inform policy and solutions towards limiting the interactions of marine megafauna and plastic pollution in SE Asia. © 2023 The Authors

With advancements in the science of detection and attribution studies, the influence of climate change over many events has now been quantified. Because of the rapidly increasing temperatures, vulnerable populations (adults older than 65 years, and children younger than one year of age) were exposed to 3·7 billion more heatwave days in 2021 than annually in 1986–2005 (indicator 1.1.2), and heat-related deaths increased by 68% between 2000–04 and 2017–21 (indicator 1.1.5), a death toll that was significantly exacerbated by the confluence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the local cooling and overall health benefits of urban greenspaces, only 277 (27%) of 1038 global urban centres were at least moderately green in 2021 (indicator 2.2.3), and the number of households with air conditioning increased by 66% from 2000 to 2020, a maladaptive response that worsens the energy crisis and further increases urban heat, air pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions. Objective Determine if peer educators can simultaneously deliver 3 arms of a randomized control trial while maintaining curriculum fidelity. Use of Theory or Research Implementation science principles Target Audience Expanded Food and Nutrition Education program participants (n = 540, enrolled) in Washington and Colorado; experienced peer educators (n = 11). program Description A randomized control trial with 3 arms, each with English and Spanish classes. The same educators taught Control, In-class, and Online arms. All participants, including the Control arm, received 9 lessons using the Eating Smart • Being Active (ESBA) curriculum. In-class participants watched videos on parent feeding behaviors (adapted from previous work) and participated in related educator led activities. Online participants received texts with links to 7 videos and activities between face-to-face lessons but no in-class content. Evaluations occurred at Pre-, Post-, 6- and 12 months post. To address fidelity, educators received extensive training and practice opportunities. Multiple observations in each class series and educator-supervisor discussions assessed and reinforced fidelity. Evaluation Methods Detailed class observation forms, tailored to the specific intervention arm, assessed adherence to ESBA and parent feeding information as well as any cross-contamination of parent feeding behavior information between arms. Open-ended phone interviews with educators post-program. Results One hundred and twenty-eight observations, 58 in English and 70 in Spanish, with 40-45 per arm. The Control group received no parent feeding behavior information; ESBA lessons were delivered as intended 89% of time. In the Online group, minor parent feeding behavior information was shared during 7% of the observations; ESBA lessons were followed 87% of the time. One of the government's efforts to succeed in empowering villages is to provide infrastructure in the form of village official website, this is done at the same time as a response to the transition of the use of electronic to digital media. The problem that arises later is that the new media in the form of the village official website cannot be accessed by the villagers, most of whom do not yet have the tools or media to access information in the official village website. Therefore, an inclusive communication approach is needed so that the information conveyed by the government through the village official website can be accepted by the villagers. Using qualitative research methods, this study aims to see how an inclusive communication approach can be used to help marginalized villagers who do not have direct access to the village official website in Susukan, Sumbang, Banyumas. The research results showed that one form of inclusive communication approach that can be carried out by empowerment actors is to use bulletin boards as an intermediary medium to access information through the village official website.
