For a long time, the art of painting has been mysterious to most ordinary people. Since ancient times, countless artists have devoted their lives to painting works, and many masters have formed their own unique painting style. With the rapid development of computer technology, we can extract and imitate the painting styles of various famous artists, and even ordinary people can pry into the mysteries of artistic style, so as to make works with master artistic style. This style rendering technology is called style style transfer. With the continuous development of stereoscopic display technology, people's demand for more diversified stereoscopic display effects is also increasing. Chinese ink art, as one of the typical representatives of Oriental painting art, has positive significance and far-reaching influence by combining it with three-dimensional display technology. Through the study of Chinese traditional landscape painting and a large number of research on the simulation results of ink style at home and abroad, this paper focuses on the freehand ink style rendering of three-dimensional terrain, and designs a ink style rendering method based on program gray coloring, which can easily observe the effect of ink change when the terrain changes. © 2023 IEEE.

Recent studies have focused on leveraging large-scale artificial intelligence (LAI) models to improve semantic representation and compression capabilities. However, the substantial computational demands of LAI models pose significant challenges for real-time communication scenarios. To address this, this paper proposes utilizing knowledge distillation (KD) techniques to extract and condense knowledge from LAI models, effectively reducing model complexity and computation latency. Nevertheless, the inherent complexity of LAI models leads to prolonged inference times during distillation, while their lack of channel awareness compromises the distillation performance. These limitations make standard KD methods unsuitable for task-oriented semantic communication scenarios. To address these issues, we propose a fast distillation method featuring a pre-stored compression mechanism that eliminates the need for repetitive inference, significantly improving efficiency. Furthermore, a channel adaptive module is incorporated to dynamically adjust the transmitted semantic information based on varying channel conditions, enhancing communication reliability and adaptability. In addition, an information bottleneck-based loss function is derived to guide the fast distillation process. Simulation results verify that the proposed scheme outperform baselines in term of task accuracy, model size, computation latency, and training data requirements. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

Storm tide disasters may lead to extensive power outage in distribution networks. The usage of energy storage resources is necessary to ensure the power critical loads. Previous research has been designed to address typhoon disasters without considering the impact of storm tides, which reduces its effectiveness. This paper proposes a multi-agent deep reinforcement learning framework to address the issues, based on the integration of power and transportation networks, facing dynamic scheduling decisions of mobile energy storage for power supply recovery after storm tide. Firstly, to simulate the dynamic allocation of power demand and energy storage resources in various regions during storm tide disasters, a coupled transportation and power grid digital twin is constructed, ensuring that Mobile Energy Storage Systems (MESS) can efficiently transfer and distribute power resources between regions affected by storm tide. Then, the reinforcement learning method based on Multi-Agent Depth Q-Network (MADQN) is designed, and can optimize the real-time scheduling strategy of mobile energy storage resources, maximize power recovery efficiency, and minimize recovery time. Finally, a hazard assessment framework for storm tides in coastal cities is proposed. The experimental results show that this method has significantly improved recovery speed and power supply security after storm-tide disasters.

The evolution of wireless communications has been significantly influenced by remarkable advancements in multiple access (MA) technologies over the past five decades, shaping the landscape of modern connectivity. Within this context, a comprehensive tutorial review is presented, focusing on representative MA techniques developed over the past 50 years. The following areas are explored: i) The foundational principles and information-theoretic capacity limits of power-domain nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) are characterized, along with its extension to multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO)NOMA. ii) Several MA transmission schemes exploiting the spatial domain are investigated, encompassing both conventional space-division multiple access (SDMA)/MIMO-NOMA systems and near-field MA systems utilizing spherical-wave propagation models. iii) The application of NOMA to integrated sensing and communications (ISAC) systems is studied. This includes an introduction to typical NOMA-based downlink/uplink ISAC frameworks, followed by an evaluation of their performance limits using a mutual information (MI)-based analytical framework. iv) Major issues and research opportunities associated with the integration of MA with other emerging technologies are identified to facilitate MA in next-generation networks, i.e., next-generation multiple access (NGMA). In this paper, a multi-modal data based semisupervised learning (SSL) framework that jointly use channel state information (CSI) data and RGB images for vehicle positioning is designed. In particular, an outdoor positioning system where the vehicle locations are determined by a base station (BS) is considered. The BS equipped with several cameras can collect a large amount of unlabeled CSI data and a small number of labeled CSI data of vehicles, and the images taken by cameras. Although the collected images contain partial information of vehicles (i.e. azimuth angles of vehicles), the relationship between the unlabeled CSI data and its azimuth angle, and the distances between the BS and the vehicles captured by images are both unknown. Therefore, the images cannot be directly used as the labels of unlabeled CSI data to train a positioning model. To exploit unlabeled CSI data and images, a SSL framework that consists of a pretraining stage and a downstream training stage is proposed. In the pretraining stage, the azimuth angles obtained from the images are considered as the labels of unlabeled CSI data to pretrain the positioning model. In the downstream training stage, a small sized labeled dataset in which the accurate vehicle positions are considered as labels is used to retrain the model. Simulation results show that the proposed method can reduce the positioning error by up to 30% compared to a baseline where the model is not pretrained. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. The paper deals with the setting where two viruses (say virus 1 and virus 2) coexist in a population, and they are not necessarily mutually exclusive, in the sense that infection due to one virus does not preclude the possibility of simultaneous infection due to the other. We develop a coupled bi-virus susceptible-infected-susceptible (SIS) model from a 4n-state Markov process, where n is the number of agents (i.e., individuals or subpopulation) in the population. We identify a sufficient condition for both viruses to eventually die out, and a sufficient condition for the existence, uniqueness and asymptotic stability of the endemic equilibrium of each virus. We establish a sufficient condition and multiple necessary conditions for local exponential convergence to the boundary equilibrium (i.e., one virus persists, the other one dies out) of each virus. Under mild assumptions on the healing rate, we show that there cannot exist a coexisting equilibrium where for each node there is a nonzero fraction infected only by virus 1;a nonzero fraction infected only by virus 2;but no fraction that is infected by both viruses 1 and 2. Likewise, assuming that healing rates are strictly positive, a coexisting equilibrium where for each node there is a nonzero fraction infected by both viruses 1 and 2, but no fraction is infected only by virus 1 (resp. virus 2) does not exist. Further, we provide a necessary condition for the existence of certain other kinds of coexisting equilibria. We show that, unlike the competitive bivirus model, the coupled bivirus model is not monotone. Finally, we illustrate our theoretical findings using an extensive set of simulations. © 2022, CC0.

A fixed-time fault-tolerant containment control method is proposed for nonlinear multi-agent systems (MASs) subject to unknown actuator failures, unknown time-varying control gains, and uncertain disturbances. To address the dual challenges of limited communication resources and performance degradation caused by these anomalies, an adaptive fuzzy self-triggered mechanism (AFSTM) is developed to reduce bandwidth pressure while implementing containment control for MASs. The proposed AFSTM enables the agents to calculate the next trigger time at each trigger moment, avoiding continuous monitoring of control signals. Meanwhile, the proposed strategy ensures that all followers converge to the convex hull spanned by multiple leaders within a fixed time, independent of initial system states, as rigorously proven through Lyapunov stability analysis and algebraic graph theory. Eventually, simulations validate the effectiveness of the proposed method in achieving containment control with reduced communication burden. © 2025 Elsevier B.V.

This paper conducts research on the RF energy harvesting relay network, and proposes an improved energy harvesting relay protocol, which allows the energy harvesting source node to retransmit data to improve the system diversity gain, and constructs energy harvesting slot allocation, subcarrier pairing, and power Optimized model of distributed system energy efficiency. A resource allocation algorithm based on optimal energy efficiency is further proposed. The Dinkelbach method is used to transform the nonlinear programming problem into a linear programming problem. Then, the Hungarian algorithm and the sub-gradient method are used to obtain the iterative algorithm based on energy efficiency optimization. This paper proposes a distributed prescribed-time observer for nonlinear systems representable in a block-triangular observable canonical form. Using a weighted average of neighbor estimates exchanged over a strongly connected digraph, each observer estimates the system state despite the limited observability of local sensor measurements. The proposed design guarantees that distributed state estimation errors converge to zero at a user-specified convergence time, irrespective of observers’ initial conditions. To achieve this prescribed-time convergence, distributed observers implement time-varying local output injection gains that monotonically increase and approach infinity at the prescribed time. The theoretical convergence is rigorously proven and validated through numerical simulations, where some implementation issues due to increasing gains have also been clarified.
