This paper present presents a new 3-d data hiding scheme. By using geometry image images, we transform the 3-d data hiding problem into the 2-d image data hiding problem where here efficient algorithms can be applied applied. A modified LSB embedding approach. is proposed to embed payload in geometry images. Experimental results show that a large amount of payload can be embedded in the3-d model without causing too much deformation of the 3-d model. In the end of the paper, we propose a completely new representation of 3-d model as an application of our data hiding method.

In this study, we would like to find out the simplest way to achieve the lowest wafer bow in the GaN HEMT on 200mm Si wafer. The simplest refit that we found involved using 12 sapphire blocks distributed around the periphery of the flat susceptor. The final wafer bow can reach around 22um for the GaN HEMT on 1mm thick 200mm Si wafer. The sheet resistance of the sample with the sapphire blocks will measure 34% lower than the sample without the sapphire blocks.

Anomaly detection aims to identify rare events that deviate remarkably from existing data. To satisfy real-world appli- cations, various anomaly detection technologies have been proposed. Due to the resource constraints, such as limited energy, computation ability and memory storage, most of them cannot be directly used in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). In this work, we proposed a hierarchical anomaly detection framework to overcome the challenges of anomaly detection in WSNs. We aim to detect anomalies by the accurate model and the approximated model learned at the re- mote server and sink nodes, respectively. Besides the framework, we also proposed an approximated local outlier factor algorithm, which can be learned at the sink nodes. The proposed algorithm is more efficient in computation and storage by comparing with the standard one. Experimental results verify the feasibility of our proposed method in terms of both accuracy and efficiency.

The detection of sparse wideband signal in the sub-Nyquist regime is considered in this paper. We present a low-complexity and robust multiband signal detection algorithm based on algebraic analysis and statistical methods. The original signal is subsampled with Multi-coset sampling. We find that there are some linear constraints between the nonzero spectrum locations. The linear relationship is described by a frequency locator polynomial. The detector does not require priori knowledge about the frequency locations of the signals of interest. Moreover, we show that our method has lower complexity of both samples and computation compared with cyclostationary detection (CD) in the sparse case. Numerical results demonstrate our detector outperforms energy detection (ED) in the sub-Nyquist regime especially in low signal to noise ratio (SNR).

This paper presents Taghreed;a full-fledged system for efficient and scalable querying, analyzing, and visualizing geo- tagged microblogs, e.g., tweets. Taghreed supports arbitrary queries on a large number (Billions) of microblogs that go up to several months in the past. Taghreed consists of four main components: (1) Indexer, (2) query engine, (3) recovery manager, and (4) visualizer. Taghreed indexer efficiently digests incoming microblogs with high arrival rates in light memory-resident indexes. When the memory be- comes full, a flushing policy manager transfers the mem- ory contents to disk indexes which are managing Billions of microblogs for several months. On memory failure, the recovery manager restores the system status from replicated copies for the main-memory content. Taghreed query engine consists of two modules: a query optimizer and a query processor. The query optimizer generates an optimal query plan to be executed by the query processor through efficient retrieval techniques to provide low query response, i.e., order of milliseconds. Taghreed visualizer allows end users to issue a wide variety of spatiotemporal queries. Then, it graphically presents the answers and allows interactive exploration through them. Taghreed is the first system that addresses all these challenges collectively for microblogs data. In the paper, each system component is described in detail. Copyright 2014 ACM.
