Millimeter wave(mmWave)massive massive multiple input multiple output(MIMO)technique has been regarded as the viable solution for vehicular communications in 5G and *** achieve the substantial increase in date rates,it is important to take an effective channel state information(CSI).However,existing channel estimation strategies are unavailable since the users *** solve above issues,in this paper,inspired by a specific antenna structure,we propose a novel approach for fast time-varying channel ***,by considering the vehicle scenario with high-mobility,a corresponding mathematical model is firstly ***,based on the special structural of the sparse array,the switch network is used to replace the convention phase shifter of mmWave hybrid system,which can effectively reduce the number of radio-frequency(RF)chains and ***,by solving the semidefinite programming(SDP)duality problem,the Doppler frequency and path parameters are effectively *** results are shown that the computational complexity and estimation accuracy of the proposed algorithm is superior than that of the traditional schemes.

The development of 5G technology and Ultra HD video provide the basis for panoramic video, namely virtual reality (VR). At present, the traditional VQA method is not effective on panoramic video. Therefore, it is crucial to design objective VQA models for the standardization of panoramic video industry. With the development of deep learning, excellent algorithms of VQA methods based on convolutional neural network have emerged. In this paper, we propose a full reference VQA model based on spatial-temporal 3D convolutional neural network, the feature extraction combined the time and spatial information. we verify and optimize the proposed VQA model based on VQA-ODV panoramic video database, its objective score has a higher correlation with subjective scores than that of traditional VQA methods. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This paper considers a joint design for communication beamforming matrices and radar waveform in a scenario where a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar and a MIMO communication system coexist. We propose a joint optimizing method to maximize the sum rate by designing the communication beamforming matrices and the radar waveform. We give consideration to power constraints for both radar and communication system. In order to guarantee the radar performance, we also consider the similarity constraint of the radar waveform. This paper formulates two convex optimization problems and proposes an alternating iterative algorithm. Finally, the simulation results verify that the proposed algorithm can effectively raise the sum rate.

Novelty Calculation in Imbalanced Dynamic Interconnected Specialized IoT Network Traffic

Quantifying the deviation of testing samples from known benign traffic in the form of novelty scores is essential for identifying new malicious traffic and detecting concept drifts of benign traffic. Most existing solutions generate novelty scores based on the outputs from the supervised neural network's last layers. However, the performance of these supervised techniques is significantly compromised in the unbalanced dynamic interconnected specialized IoT network traffic such as Electronic Power Grid. To solve this challenge, we investigate an improved novelty score calculation approach. It employs the targeted distance loss to ensure that different known classes form class-specific, dense clusters within the embedding space outputted by the neural network. The minimum distance between the testing sample and the centers of each known class is utilized as the novelty score. Extensive comparison experiments on public datasets and real Electronic Power Grid traffic demonstrate that our approach outperforms existing supervised techniques. As the imbalance in known class distributions increases, our proposed method consistently achieves higher AUROC and AUPR than baselines, with a reduced FPR95. This study analyzes imbalanced known class distributions' negative impact on novelty detection and provides practical improvement. © 2014 IEEE.

Blockchain, as an emerging distributed database, effectively addresses the issue of centralized storage in IoT data, where storage capacity cannot match the explosive growth in devices and data scale, as well as the contradictions arising from centralized data management concerning data privacy and security concerns. To alleviate the problem of excessive pressure on single-point storage and ensure data security, a blockchain data storage method based on erasure codes is proposed. This method involves constructing mathematical functions that describe the data to split the original block data into multiple fragments and add redundant slices. These fragments are then encoded and stored in different locations using a circular hash space with the addition of virtual nodes to ensure load balancing among nodes and reduce situations where a single node stores too many encoded data blocks, effectively enhancing the storage space utilization efficiency of the distributed storage database. The blockchain storage method stores encoded data digest information such as storage location, creation time, and hashes, allowing for the tracing of the origin of encoded data blocks. In case of accidental loss or malicious tampering, this enables effective recovery and ensures the integrity and availability of data in the network. Experimental results indicate that compared to traditional blockchain approaches, this method effectively reduces the storage pressure on nodes and exhibits a certain degree of disaster recovery capability. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper we address the problem of fine-tuned text generation with a limited computational budget. For that, we use a well-performing text generative adversarial network (GAN) architecture - Diversity-Promoting GAN (DPGAN), and attempted a drop-in replacement of the LSTM layer with a self-attention-based Transformer layer in order to leverage their efficiency. The resulting Self-Attention DPGAN (SADPGAN) was evaluated for performance, quality and diversity of generated text and stability. Computational experiments suggested that a transformer architecture is unable to drop-in replace the LSTM layer, under-performing during the pre-training phase and undergoing a complete mode collapse during the GAN tuning phase. Our results suggest that the transformer architecture need to be adapted before it can be used as a replacement for RNNs in text-generating GANs. © 2021 Incoma Ltd. All rights reserved.

Intelligent resource allocation and power control schemes are regarded as important methods to alleviate the problems caused by the sharp increase in the number of users and operating costs. In this paper, we propose a multi-agent deep reinforcement learning (MADRL)-based algorithm to jointly optimize resource block (RB) allocation and power control, which aims to maximize the average spectrum efficiency (SE) of the system while meeting quality of service (QoS) constraints. In view of the fact that centralized training distributed execution retains the advantages of centralized training while reducing the amount of computation and signaling overhead, the MADRL technique can be adopted. In the proposed MADRL model, the Q function of each agent is aggregated through the value decomposition network, which strengthens the cooperation of agents and improves the convergence of the algorithm. We add a reward discount network into the original MADRL framework to adaptively adjust the attention to future rewards according to the performance of agents in the training process. Simulation experiments show that the proposed algorithm has better performance and stability than the existing alternatives.

This article introduces Follow-Me AI, a concept designed to enhance user interactions with smart environments, optimize energy use, and provide better control over data captured by these environments. Through AI agents that accompany users, Follow-Me AI negotiates data management based on user consent, aligns environmental controls as well as user communication and computes resources available in the environment with user preferences, and predicts user behavior to proactively adjust the smart environment. The manuscript illustrates this concept with a detailed example of Follow-Me AI in a smart campus setting, detailing the interactions with the building's management system for optimal comfort and efficiency. The rapid development of various autonomous unmanned systems has increased the endogenous intelligence of machines, which empowers functional collaborations among intelligent machines. However, traditional protocols for intelligent machine collaboration have limitations regarding functionality, efficiency, and scalability. Moreover, existing research on intelligent machine collaboration is not yet approaching a unified paradigm that facilitates interactions among machines and between machines and humans. Therefore, aiming to enable a more efficient functional collaboration among intelligent machines, we propose a natural language-based instruction (NLI) protocol, which enjoys the advantages of autonomy, robustness and efficiency. In particular, we specify the NLI protocol architecture by introducing a corpus of NLIs, an NLI generation module, and an NLI parsing module, wherein the corpus contains control instructions, intents and slots, the generation module is used to generate NLIs, and the parsing module is used to parse the intents and slots in the instruction. Furthermore, we case-study the proposed NLI protocol in an electromagnetic interference avoidance scenario based on semi-physical simulation with software-defined radio. Simulation results show that the NLI protocol is more robust and efficient than traditional control protocol in severe wireless channels, which validates the feasibility and effectiveness of implementing intelligent machine collaboration based on NLI.

With the skyrocketing development of technologies,there are many issues in information security quantitative evaluation(ISQE)of complex heterogeneous information systems(CHISs).The development of CHIS calls for an ISQE model based on security-critical components to improve the efficiency of system security evaluation *** this paper,we summarize the implication of critical components in different filed and propose a recognition algorithm of security-critical components based on threat attack tree to support the ISQE *** evaluation model establishes a framework for ISQE of CHISs that are updated ***,with the support of asset identification and topology data,we sort the security importance of each asset based on the threat attack tree and obtain the security-critical components(set)of the ***,we build the evaluation indicator tree of the evaluation target and propose an ISQE algorithm based on the coefficient of variation to calculate the security quality value of the ***,we present a novel indicator measurement uncertainty aiming to better supervise the performance of the proposed *** results show the advantages of the proposed algorithm in the evaluation of CHISs.
