This paper presents a novel realization of a grounded negative inductor simulator (NIS). The conception of creating grounded NIS is discussed and then a possible circuit realization using operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) is provided. The proposed circuit realization employs only two OTAs, one voltage summing circuit and three capacitors. PSPICE simulations have validated the workability of the proposed NIS in the operating frequency of 10kHz to 10MHz.

In this paper, a 2-DOF robotic manipulator is controlled to track the motion of object in a plane using brushless DC motor as an actuator. Two brushless DC motor are used to actuate the each of two revolute joints of the 2-DOF robotic manipulator. To control the angular position of robotic arm fuzzy PD controller is used. To generate the Smooth trajectory for joint angle of robotic manipulator, cubic polynomial equation is used. The link lengths for two links and time for tracking is specified. It is shown that the end-effector of the manipulator reaches from initial to final co-ordinate of the object in specified time.

Software complexity is one of the important quality attribute and predicting complexity is a difficult task for software engineers. Current measures can be used to compute complexity but these methods are not sufficient. New methods or paradigms are being searched for predicting complexity because complexity prediction can help us in estimating many other quality attributes like testability and maintainability. The main goal of this paper is to explore the role of new paradigms like fuzzy logic in complexity prediction. In this paper we obtain the symbol error rate performance of amplify and forward relaying for independent, flat Nakagami-m fading channels, using moment generating function (MGF) of total received power at destination. We obtain upper bound on average symbol error probability, and verify the results with computer based simulations. Our analysis is generalized as we consider multiple relays and generalized fading environment. We propose a power efficient transmission mechanism in which the overall transmitted power from source and relays is kept to be constant, and independent of number of relays.

In this experimental study attempt has been made to realize potential of cryogenic treatment in enhancing surface quality with fine aluminum and graphite additives powders in AEDM of nickel based super alloy Inconel 718. L 36 (23×36) Orthogonal Array has been selected to conduct and analyze experiments based on Taguchi methodology. Polarity, peak current, pulse on time, duty cycle, gap voltage, retract distance, concentration of fine aluminum and graphite powder added into the dielectric fluid are chosen as input process variables to study performance in terms of surface roughness (SR) using copper and deep cryogenically treated copper electrode. It is found experimentally that deep cryogenically treated copper electrode with addition of 6g/l graphite powder improves surface roughness appreciably. The same has been supported by SEM analysis of the machined surface.
