This article presents a prototype of an agrotechnical robot with a vision system, intended for sorting fruit and vegetables. Its aim is to separate a specific color of vegetables or fruit thanks to the use of a vision system with a dedicated classification algorithm. The robot, moving within the limits of the granted autonomy, on a separate part of the line with a special design, carries out a programmed sorting task with a gripper. The designed and constructed structure of the robot allows for sorting all main vegetables and spherical fruits.

In this article, a system for automatic recognition, including detection and classification, of emergency vehicles based on images from video recorders is proposed. The system utilizes YOLO v8 artificial neural network. Recognition accuracy tests were conducted on a specially prepared database of frames from real recordings. It includes marked and unmarked police vehicles (which are very difficult to distinguish and typically not included in automatic recognition systems), fire, ambulance, military vehicles and other reference images. The experiments concerned the recognition of vehicle types and the state of emergency lighting. The highest value of total (for all classes) F1 measure is over 86%. In selected classes the F1 reaches 91%, while precision is 94% and sensitivity is 89%. They can be considered as satisfactory results, what indicates the possibility of using the presented system in practice.

In this article, an automatic recognition system, of objects that threaten the safety of vehicle users is proposed. These objects are detected in front of the vehicle’s windshield based on images from video recorders and then classified. The tests were conducted using artificial neural networks on a specially prepared database of frames from real recordings. Recognized objects include: car wheels, car parts, birds, stones and ice. They were recognized in single- and multi-class detections for various parameters of the network model. Detection efficiency of $95 \%$ was achieved in the best case.

This article analyzes the effectiveness of passive solar panel cooling systems in building-applied photovoltaics (BAPV) installations. Emphasis was placed on the ribbed heat sinks. Using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation, the movement of air in the cooling system and the dependence of the heat sink temperature on wind speed and direction, ambient temperature and distance to surrounding objects were analyzed. A mathematical analysis of the decrease in the average temperature of the solar panel was carried out. Experimental temperature measurements of the real panel were also made. They confirmed the simulation results.

This article proposes a model that combines the issues related to autonomous vehicles into seven groups. The groups are included in mutual iterations between the user, the autonomous vehicle and the environment. They are: vehicle automation, environmental sensors, automatic perception of the environment based on the processing of vision signals, communication with external devices, interaction with the user, direct transmission of signals to the environment, and future development plans. Bearing in mind the proposed model, various latest solutions presented in the state-of-the-art literature or already offered in vehicles are collected and described.
