“Iris Disease Detection” project is a comprehensive approach to iris health assessment that combines deep learning techniques with image processing methodologies. The system consists of a Streamlit-based web application and a Mobile Net V2 and CNN Classifier, which use OpenCV and KMeans clustering for effective image analysis. The dataset, derived from medical imaging platforms, includes hundreds of high-resolution photos of the iris, annotated with detailed diagnostic information about a wide range of iris health problems. The project includes both normal and diseased irises, as well as those with cataracts, glaucoma, and iritis. The Streamlit web application provides a user-friendly interface for uploading iris images, which undergo preprocessing, grayscale conversion, and Gaussian blur before applying the Hough Circles method to detect the iris region. The system generates visualizations, including the original image, identified iris, and segmented representation achieved through KMeans clustering. The machine learning component enhances the accuracy of 95 percentage and reliability of iris detection, offering a holistic solution for iris disease detection.

The application of advanced forecasting techniques has attracted major interest in the area of medicinal study and treatment as a method of increasing quiet care. This research study introduces a new method for predicting the best course of treatment based on individual persistent profiles, called Double Adaptive Sequential Networks (DASN). The DASN enhances the accuracy and strength of treatment predictions by combining the control of successive neural systems with adaptable learning components. The system prepares and fine-tunes two parallel successive systems using verifiable persistent information, including genomic data, treatment outcomes, and restorative records. While the moment arrange focuses on encoding flexible designs that evolve over time as patients respond to various medications, the primary arrange records different conditions inside persistent information. DASN’s adaptable character is then achieved. DASN’s adaptability is accomplished by a method of active learning that continually adjust the network’s weights in response to ongoing data from responses. This enables the display to detect slight modifications to uniform responses and adjust predictions accordingly. Furthermore, DASN is integrated with a fortification learning component, which enables it to iteratively improve treatment recommendations by simulating possible persistent reactions was carried out using various runs of understanding cases and treatment scenarios in order to validate the viability of DASN. The results demonstrate that, in terms of treatment precision and flexibility, DASN consistently outperforms current predictive models. The model has the potential to revolutionize personalized medication due to its ability to adapt to changing quiet elements and treatment patterns.

In realistic distributed optimization scenarios, individual nodes possess only partial information and communicate over bandwidth constrained channels. For this reason, the development of efficient distributed algorithms is essential. In our paper we addresses the challenge of unconstrained distributed optimization. In our scenario each node's local function exhibits strong convexity with Lipschitz continuous gradients. The exchange of information between nodes occurs through 3-bit bandwidth-limited channels (i.e., nodes exchange messages represented by a only 3 -bits). Our proposed algorithm respects the network's bandwidth constraints by leveraging zoom-in and zoom-out operations to adjust quantizer parameters dynamically. We show that during our algorithm's operation nodes are able to converge to the exact optimal solution. Furthermore, we show that our algorithm achieves a linear convergence rate to the optimal solution. We conclude the paper with simulations that highlight our algorithm's unique characteristics. © 2024 IEEE.

One of the most prevalent complications caused by diabetes that still causes loss of vision and blindness worldwide is diabetic retinopathy. For treatments to be effective, early and correct identification is essential. Despite advancements in medicine, a complex automated solution is still required to address the impending threat of blindness due to the difficult early diagnosis of diabetes-related retinopathy, a key contributor to visual impairment. Using a well-selected diabetic retinopathy dataset, our novel approach applies transfer learning techniques using EfficientNetB3, ResNet50, and DenseNet169. Our model is strengthened by a new hybrid oversampling method that addresses class imbalance, and its training incorporates cutting-edge components like differential regularization, adaptive dropout, and Adamax optimization for increased *** results demonstrate the remarkable sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and F1 score of our model at various degrees of retinopathy severity, establishing a new standard for diagnostic dependability in the identification of diabetic retinopathy. By utilizing cutting-edge deep learning architectures, our method establishes a strong basis upon which future developments will be built. These developments will include adaptive optimization strategies, ensemble learning to improve resilience, and self-supervised pre-training, all of which will accelerate the ongoing advancement of diabetic retinopathy detection accuracy.

Analyzing medical data effectively is critical for making educated decisions and providing patient care in this age of quickly improving healthcare technology. Natural language processing methods, particularly text classification and sentiment analysis in cancer patients’ medical records is the primary objective of the proposed work. The goal is to help healthcare professionals diagnose and treat patients more effectively by extracting meaningful insights from textual data. Logistic Regression is used as separate text analysis method in the research. In order to get a full picture of patients’ histories, these models are trained and tested to see how well they categorize medical information pertaining to cancer into certain predetermined groups. To make sure the input data is good, data preparation is essential. Remove stop words, special letters, and any unnecessary information from the text to make it cleaner. In addition, the dataset is examined to learn about its properties and distribution which understanding of the data that lie underneath. The suggested models are successful, according to the experimental data; the Bidirectional LSTM model had Healthcare practitioners must pay close attention to these results because they pave the way for improved decision support via the accurate and rapid identification of pertinent medical information. This study highlights the value of natural language processing methods in analyzing cancer patients’ medical records, which is a contribution to healthcare analytics as a whole. In addition, it highlights how Bidirectional LSTM models may improve medical record classification, which in turn improves patient care and healthcare decision-making.

Blood vessel segmentation is the process of identifying and describing blood vessels from retinal pictures, which is required for quantitative analysis and anomaly detection. However, the accuracy and efficiency of the current blood vessel segmentation approach are frequently inadequate. By using deep learning techniques for blood vessel segmentation, it aims to increase retinal analysis’s effectiveness and precision. Based on our findings, UNet outperforms FCN (94.02%) and SegNet (95.89%) in terms of accuracy, reaching a whopping 98.89%. UNet is well-suited for biomedical image segmentation tasks because to its symmetric encoder-decoder structure and skip connections, which allow for good feature extraction and spatial preservation. A user interface is used to provide the segmented image when a retinal picture is injected. It helps in the creation of computer-aided diagnostic tools for retinal diseases and showing in the application by providing a trustworthy method for correct blood vessel segmentation, which is essential for early detection and monitoring of various ocular pathologies.

Nanocrystalline materials, known for their excellent magnetic properties, are widely used in the design of inductors and transformers, yet their application has been primarily limited to low-frequency scenarios due to their low resonance frequency. This paper introduces an innovative 2D nanocrystalline inductor design that not only capitalizes on the excellent magnetic characteristics of nanocrystalline materials but also effectively increases the resonance frequency to above 10 MHz, enabling the use of nanocrystalline materials in high-frequency power electronics. This design is not only suitable for mass production but also breakthrough in frequency limitations of nanocrystalline Materials. Experimental and simulation results confirm the superiority of the proposed design in enhancing high-frequency impedance, increasing high-frequency insertion loss, exhibiting improvements in EMI conduction frequency range (150 kHz - 30 MHz). The performance of the filter with the proposed 2D inductor is superior to the performance of EMI filters using other inductors within high frequency range, marking a significant breakthrough in magnetic device design. © 2024 IEEE.

Upholding academic integrity during exams has always been difficult in the world of online learning. We provide a novel approach to solve this problem: an AI-proctored exam Portal combined with a mobile companion app. This solution uses artificial intelligence for proctoring and enables instructors to prepare and conduct exams safely. The site includes elements like multiple-choice exams, written assessments with a question bank, and integrated course modules with quizzes and videos. With the use of AI algorithms, the exam process is tracked in real time, and each student receives a thorough report. Additionally, the mobile companion app improves the assessment process’s integrity by acting as an additional monitoring tool and giving a side view of the student during the test. This article describes the architecture, functionality, and use of the AI-Proctored Exam Portal and its accompanying mobile application, emphasizing the platform’s effectiveness in guaranteeing transparent and equitable testing in the online learning environment.

In this paper, we propose a via-less fully screen-printed reconfigurable intelligent surface which can establish a second line-of-sight communication from 23.5GHz to 29.5GHz. By serially connecting the H shaped resonator along the H field of the incident wave, we minimize the effect of the biasing lines and make a via-less design, which reduces the fabrication difficulty and cost. The unit-cell simulation of the array with screen-printed VO2 switches shows a 215° to 160° phase shift difference between the ON and OFF states within bandwidth. During the field testing of the ideal arrays, we verify that the array can redirect the 45° incident wave to 0° reflection with a signal enhancement of at least 10 dB as compared to the array which has all unit cells in the OFF condition. © 2023 IEEE.

Waste sorting poses significant challenges because of several factors, including a lack of awareness and education about proper disposal, inadequate infrastructure and collection systems, cultural practices that discourage segregation, economic factors without financial incentives, confusion due to the absence of clear guidelines and regulations for waste sorting, and time and convenience constraints. These challenges give rise to various health issues. Improper waste disposal can result in the spread of diseases through pests and rodents. Burning or burying mixed waste releases pollutants that can lead to respiratory problems. Hazardous waste, when not correctly separated, can contaminate groundwater, and unsorted waste may pose injury risks for waste workers and scavengers, including sharp objects and hazardous materials. In our study, we present a smart waste segregation system and describe the development of an intelligent waste bin designed to categorize deposited waste into various groups according to its nature, spanning from household-level waste to municipal-level waste.. This smart waste bin employs Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (DCNN) to sort the waste and incorporates ultrasonic sensors, moisture sensors, and rotary actuators. This integration enables the efficient sorting and segregation of waste placed into the smart waste bin. Combining the DCNN with actuators and sensors enhances the effectiveness of waste sorting. The implementation of these sensors will be carried out using Arduino UNO R3 and the ESP32 Camera Module
