A Numerical Calculation Algorithm of the Inclination Function Based on the Representation of SO(3) Group

In the determination of the Earth gravity field in satellite geodesy, the inclination functions represent the projection of data observed along the orbital plane of a satellite orbit into the sphere in the terrestial reference frame. The inclination functions in this work is studied from a group theoretical perspective. The inclination functions are proved to generate a representation of the SO(3) group. An orthogonal relation of the inclination functions is derived and some recurrence relations for the inclination functions are given, based on which an algorithm to calculate the inclination functions is proposed.

In this paper, we propose a command stroke (CS)/ drawing stroke (DS) discriminator that distinguishes input penstrokes into CS for command input and DS for geometric-shape input, with the aim of realizing command input by penstrokes in sketch-based computer-aided design (CAD) interfaces. This discriminator utilizes the fuzzy spline curve fragmentation, and is characterized by its ability to discriminate in real-time without relying on textual information or geometric features. By introducing the discriminator into a sketch-based CAD interface and experimentally implementing several command inputs, we demonstrated through drawing experiments that both the command and geometric-shape inputs can be implemented seamlessly with sketch-based input to efficiently complete technical drawings. © 2024 IEEE.

High-dimensional and incomplete(HDI) matrices are primarily generated in all kinds of big-data-related practical applications. A latent factor analysis(LFA) model is capable of conducting efficient representation learning to an HDI matrix,whose hyper-parameter adaptation can be implemented through a particle swarm optimizer(PSO) to meet scalable ***, conventional PSO is limited by its premature issues,which leads to the accuracy loss of a resultant LFA model. To address this thorny issue, this study merges the information of each particle's state migration into its evolution process following the principle of a generalized momentum method for improving its search ability, thereby building a state-migration particle swarm optimizer(SPSO), whose theoretical convergence is rigorously proved in this study. It is then incorporated into an LFA model for implementing efficient hyper-parameter adaptation without accuracy loss. Experiments on six HDI matrices indicate that an SPSO-incorporated LFA model outperforms state-of-the-art LFA models in terms of prediction accuracy for missing data of an HDI matrix with competitive computational ***, SPSO's use ensures efficient and reliable hyper-parameter adaptation in an LFA model, thus ensuring practicality and accurate representation learning for HDI matrices.

Event Causality Identification (ECI) aims to detect causal relations between events in unstructured texts. This task is challenged by the lack of data and explicit causal clues. Some methods incorporate explicit knowledge from external knowledge graphs (KGs) into Pre-trained Language Models (PLMs) to tackle these issues, achieving certain accomplishments. However, they ignore that existing KGs usually contain trivial knowledge which may prejudice the performance. Moreover, they simply integrate the concept triplets, underutilizing the deep interaction between the text and external graph. In this paper, we propose an effective pipeline DFP, i.e., Distill, Fuse and Pre-train, to build a commonsense-aware pre-trained model which integrates reliable task-specific knowledge from commonsense graphs. This pipeline works as follows: (1) To leverage the reliable knowledge, commonsense graph distillation is proposed to distill commonsense graphs and obtain the meta-graph which contain credible task-oriented knowledge. (2) To model the deep interaction between the text and external graph, heterogeneous information fusion is proposed to fuse them through a commonsense-aware memory network. (3) Continual pre-training is proposed to further align and fuse the text and the commonsense meta-graph with three continual pre-training tasks. Cluster-preserving sampling algorithm for large-scale graphs

Graph sampling is a very effective method to deal with scalability issues when analyzing largescale graphs. Lots of sampling algorithms have been proposed, and sampling qualities have been quantified using explicit properties(e.g., degree distribution) of the sample. However, the existing sampling techniques are inadequate for the current sampling task: sampling the clustering structure, which is a crucial property of the current networks. In this paper, using different expansion strategies, two novel top-leader sampling methods(i.e., TLS-e and TLS-i) are proposed to obtain representative samples, and they are capable of effectively preserving the clustering structure. The rationale behind them is to select top-leader nodes of most clusters into the sample and then heuristically incorporate peripheral nodes into the sample using specific expansion strategies. Extensive experiments are conducted to investigate how well sampling techniques preserve the clustering structure of graphs. Our empirical results show that the proposed sampling algorithms can preserve the population's clustering structure well and provide feasible solutions to sample the clustering structure from large-scale graphs.

Log Preservation in Custody Dual Blockchain With Energy Regime and Obfuscation Shuffle

The rise of cybercrime has led to an explosion of threats in recent years, resulting in the increasingly important of digital forensics. To achieve successful investigation and prosecution, the log preservation is a critical aspect of incident response. The blockchain technology is considered as one of the powerful log storage mechanism, which bringing data transparency and non-tempering property aside from taking off the hypothesis of a trusted third party. Nevertheless, the sensitivity of the data makes it vulnerable to malicious attacks, and the adoption of blockchain has significantly burdened participants regarding consensus time and storage. To address these challenges, we aim to develop a custody dual blockchain (CDB) to secure the confidentiality and integrity of log data. The design of reputation consensus attains that only attractive participants need to offer computation and storage for efficiency enhancing, while the energy regime constructs a positive feedback loop that invigorates users to contribute to CDB. Moreover, the obfuscation shuffle effectively obscures the explicit log plaintext to prevent illegal access. Thus, the confidential data on the CDB nodes can even be used as evidence of digital forensics. Simulation results have demonstrated that the ledger overhead can be significantly reduced, and CDB could pass the robust examination of two formal proof tools: Proverif (Blanchet et al. 2021) and AVISPA. © 2013 IEEE.

Due to serious harm of triethylamine（TEA） to environmental safety and human health, it is significant to synthesize gas-sensitive materials with high performance for TEA detection. However, it is still a challenge to achieve high-sensitivity detection of TEA at low temperature for a sensor synthesized through an economical and efficient method. In this work, hollow-structured SnO2（HS-SnO2） nanospheres have been fabricated by a facile, low-cost hydrothermal method in one step, which exhibit superior TEA-sensing properties, including not only ultrahigh response（127.75） for 100 ppm TEA, good selectivity, but also fast response and recovery time（17/28 s）, low detection threshold（1 ppm） and robust stability at a relatively low optimum operational temperature of 225°*** excellent gas-sensitizing performances are ascribed to porous hollow structures with rich oxygen vacancies that provide abundant active sites for raising O2adsorption and reaction of TEA and oxygen species. This work offers an effective and economical strategy for fabricating high-performance TEA sensors for industrial applications.

We develop an automated high-throughput workflow for calculating lattice dynamical properties from first principles including those dictated by *** pipeline automatically computes interatomic force constants(IFCs)up to 4th order from perturbed training supercells,and uses the IFCs to calculate lattice thermal conductivity,coefficient of thermal expansion,and vibrational free energy and *** performs phonon renormalization for dynamically unstable compounds to obtain real effective phonon spectra at finite temperatures and calculates the associated free energy *** methods and parameters are chosen to balance computational efficiency and result accuracy,assessed through convergence testing and comparisons with experimental *** of this workflow at a large scale would facilitate materials discovery efforts toward functionalities including thermoelectrics,contact materials,ferroelectrics,aerospace components,as well as general phase diagram construction.

Conceptualizing the Integration of Business and Private Components in Individual information systems

Individuals build their individual information system (IIS) with which they manage the boundary between different domains of life. In this age of permanent mobile accessibility, however, the boundary between the private and business domains can become blurred. While some users try to maintain a degree of separation between the two IIS sub-systems (the private and the business information system), others integrate them. Understanding such integration is essential as it affects well-being and performance in both domains. To further this understanding, we introduce a conceptualization of IIS that distinguishes between four layers of IIS: devices, digital identities, relationships, and information. To measure IIS integration, we develop a method based on the IIS components’ usage frequencies in each domain. We evaluate our conceptualization as well as our measurement method by empirically testing a theoretical model of IIS integration on multiple layers. Our data provides empirical support for the importance of relationship integration as one of the four layers. This leads us to the conclusion that even though IIS are composed of four layers, only the relationship layer is of interest regarding IIS integration. Our results are of interest and service to individuals, organizations, and IT designers who aim to manage IIS integration for individual and organizational benefits. © 2023, The Author(s).
