Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a new technology. In recent years, it is convenient and feasible in many applications. However, it also addresses many security issues which are worth discussing. The Counterfeit imposes a menace to industry worldwide, and the problem is not specific for certain products or countries. In 2003, Koh et al. describe a RFID system based on "track and trace" solution to apply into pharmaceutical supply chain management to fight the counterfeit. Moreover, there are applications to solve malicious manner were presented. But there always still existed some disputes and not conform Class 1 Generation 2 (C1G2) standards. Unfortunately, the trick is changeable. The Koh et al.'s scheme is at premise rather primitive. In order to tackle this problem, we propose an anti-counterfeit ownership transfer protocol for low cost RFID system. We only use a tag to be a storage media. The proposed scheme can ensure a secure transaction.

Material testing of bake hardenable (BH340) and dual phase (DP590) steel alloys was carried out to elucidate the anisotropic plastic deformation behavior under linear stress paths. Contours of plastic work and the directions of plastic strain rates at different levels of plastic work were measured in the first and second quadrants of stress space. Using the observed data, the applicability of conventional anisotropic yield functions, such as Hill's quadratic function and the Yld2000-2d function, to the accurate prediction of the plastic deformation behavior of the steel alloys is discussed. The measured work contours and the directions of plastic strain rates were in good agreement with those calculated using the Yld2000-2d yield function.

Studies have emphasized that empathy is a learnable skill that can be developed through learning from experience. Applying this in the context of human-system interaction, an empathic system is one that automatically acquires an initial knowledge of empathy that is permitted to be incomplete, hence inaccurate and imperfect, but improves this knowledge each time it learns from its interactions with the user until its empathy knowledge matures over time. This paper posits a self-improving empathy learning for user-centric systems. Due to the nature of the problem that centers on incremental experiential learning, this problem becomes a machine learning application. We highlight the need for machine learning techniques that can address the challenge of an empathic system self-improving its empathy model efficiently online from incomplete knowledge through the intelligent use of its experiences. We suggest that the community position itself to investigate empathic reasoning in the context of a self-learning system with machine learning at the core of its AI.

Skolemization is a well-known method for removing existential quantifiers from a logical formula. Although it always yields a satisfiability-preserving transformation step, classical Skolemization in general does not preserve the logical meaning of a source formula. Based on a general framework for generating and extending logical structures on specialization systems, we develop in this paper a theory for extending a space of logical formulas by incorporation of function variables and show how meaning-preserving Skolemization can be achieved in an obtained extended space. A procedure for converting a logical formula into an equivalent one in a conjunctive normal form on the extended space is described. This work lays a crucial theoretical foundation for solving logical problems involving existential quantifications based on meaning-preserving formula transformation.

Developing an intelligent system for educational administration involving knowledge-intensive activities is a challenging task. Hardly adequate architectures exist which allow integration and sharing of multiple knowledge bases inherently distributed logically and physically. The intelligent systems that have been proposed in the contemporary research specifically related to educational domain, intend to cater to the needs of the front-office operations only such as E-Learning, Online Course Management systems, Intelligent Tutoring systems, etc. To offer a more comprehensive solution, the present research paper proposes an architecture for a Knowledge-Based Educational Administration System (KBEAS) to facilitate the workability of back-office operations that span a wide spectrum from routine procedures to highly judgmental issues. Further, an overall architecture of the system is illustrated by considering a case of Work-Integrated-Learning-division of a leading Indian institution to demonstrate the validity and benefits of the knowledge-based technique.

We propose a framework to extract topic maps from a set of Web pages. We use the clustering method with the Web pages and extract the topic map prototypes. We introduced the following two points to the existing clustering method: The first is merging only the linked Web pages, thus extracting the underlying relationships between the topics. The second is introducing weighting based on the similarity from the contents of the Web pages and relevance between topics of pages. The relevance is based on the types of links with directories in the Web sites structure and the distance between the directories in which the pages are located. We generate the topic map prototypes by assuming that the clusters are the topics, the edges are the associations, and the Web pages related to the topics are the occurrences from the results of the clustering. Finally, users complete the prototype by labeling the topics and associations and removing the unnecessary items. We incrementally use a userpsilas evaluation of the topic maps to judge whether a Web page is unnecessary or necessary and then reduce the number of unnecessary pages. We use the relevance feedback along with a Support Vector Machine (SVM) to judge the Web pages. For this paper, at the first step, we mounted the proposed clustering method and conducted experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of extracting topic map prototypes. We eventually discussed the effectiveness of our two additional points by evaluating the extracted topic map prototypes.
