An interface crack with a contact zone in a piezoelectric/piezomagnetic bimaterial under the action of tension and shear mechanical loading, electric and magnetic fields parallel to the crack faces is analyzed. The piezoceramics is polarized in the direction orthogonal to the crack faces. It is assumed that the crack faces are covered with mechanically soft electrodes of ferroelectric material having a prescribed electric charge and residual magnetic induction. An exact analytical solution of these problems has been obtained and all required values along the interface are found in a simple form. © 2017 ICF 2017 - 14th International Conference on Fracture. The paper outlines the basic principles of constructing frequency diagrams and specifies the features of their application for the analysis of the dynamic state of the vehicle drive with cable traction on the example of a ropeway. To draw up the frequency diagrams, the ropeway traction circuit was presented as a dynamic system containing lumped masses and elements with distributed parameters. In this case, the moments of inertia of the rotating masses of the drive were brought to the traction pulley as a lumped mass. The traction cable segments are represented as elements with distributed parameters. The mathematical model describing the dynamic state of the drive consists of equations in the form of deformations of the traction cable segments using the positions of wave mechanics. Studies have shown that in most cases there is a fairly wide inter-resonance band, limited by the first and second eigenfrequencies. This phenomenon may be the basis for justifying the rational values of the rotational speed of the pulley as one of the kinematic parameters of the ropeway drive. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2018.

The article presents mathematical simulation of spatial oscillations of the "underframe-track" system interaction. It describes a design scheme of the freight-passenger electric locomotive, taking into account details of construction and the mathematical model of its spatial oscillations. The connections imposed on the system, the forces arising in them, as well as the mutual displacements of all the bodies in the system are considered. Differential equations of system oscillations are composed on the basis of Lagrange's second order equations taking into account details of construction of the electric locomotive. The paper presents some results of calculations for the cases of an electric locomotive movement on the straight sections of the track, curves of small and mean radius. © 2018 I. Klimenko, L. Traffic safety is a major priority in railway transport operation. Locomotive facility is one of the responsible units in general system of railways. A complex and cumbersome system of indicators is used in locomotive facilities to analyze the operation. The existing system makes it difficult to analyze the general level of work organization in the locomotive facilities. Purpose of the study is to determine the methodology of forming a certain dimensionless indicator (or group of indicators) that will reflect the general level of safety in the locomotive facilities. As the research methodology it was chosen principal component analysis as the corresponding mathematical apparatus, which makes it possible to analyze the existing indicators characterizing the performed work and the traffic safety condition with the necessary degree of informativity. As a result, the main components and the degree of their influence on the general level of traffic safety in the locomotive facilities are set. The indicators that have the most influence on the technical and safety components of the integrated indicator of traffic safety condition are determined. Originality of the work is that it for the first time proposes the concept of index of traffic safety condition and the method of its determination using the principal component analysis. Practical value of the work lies in the fact that the ranking of technical and safety components according to the degree of their influence on the general traffic safety index has been performed. The problem of determination of the traction current harmonics distribution in rails generated by several trains that operated in AC feeder zone is considered. The investigations were caused by necessity to ensure electromagnetic compatibility of the new types of rolling stock equipped with electronic static converters with track circuits that are used in train movement control systems for detection of their positions. The great diversity of rolling stock, power supply and return current systems, and train detection systems installed in European countries leads to consideration of the electromagnetic compatibility problem taking into account the specific railway systems used in the each country. Investigation of the electromagnetic compatibility between different railway subsystems requires the use of simulation programs that help to reveal most critical conditions for electromagnetic compatibility at an early stage and also makes it possible to estimate electromagnetic interference from rolling stock in rails under the worst-case conditions, realization of which in the operating systems will require a lot of time and cost. This work consider evolved model for distribution of the traction current harmonics in rails from several trains. To illustrate the application of the considered model, the distribution of the traction current harmonics in rails was computed for25 kV AC direct feeding network depending on distance from electrical supply substation, the rail-to-earth conductance, and the number of trains in the feeder zone. The results of modeling of the harmonics distribution are in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data.

A set of the modeling steps for hybrid dielectric rod antenna for the frequency range 1800-2200 MHz is considered. The hybrid dielectric rod surface mount antenna is modeled by method of moments in the FEKO software environment. The received results can be used by radar applications, radio monitoring and in systems of telecommunications.

The paper considers the algorithm for calculating the pneumatic transport systems of the main constructions: with high vacuum and with different pressures. The analysis of the dependence of all calculation elements on the design data of the transport system of the considered structures was carried out. In order to accelerate the calculation of such systems, the analytical dependence of the power of the compressor drive on the type of cargo, the coefficient of concentration of the transported mixture, the design productivity, and the geometric parameters of the route, the number and types of auxiliary devices (ells and shutters) are constructed. A graphical analysis of the dependence of compressor drive power of the pneumatic transport systems with high vacuum and with different pressures on the design data: the mixture concentration coefficient, the length of transportation, the design productivity for the transportation of cement with a given route configuration.
