This research investigates the novel application of Dynamic Game Balancing (DGB) techniques in the context of a hybrid chess-survival roguelike game, a unique combination of genres not widely explored in previous studies. The study addresses two primary research questions: the identification of suitable DGB techniques for these genres and the enhancement of user experience through DGB. A game prototype was developed using Unity, where players control a chess knight in a turn-based system, facing increasingly challenging enemy pieces. The DGB system dynamically adjusts the game's difficulty based on player performance, utilizing various inputs such as damage received or dealt, health points, powerup usage, and decision speed. Preliminary results from 14 beta-testers show overall positive feedback, with players reporting higher engagement and enjoyment due to the seamless difficulty adjustments, as reflected by the high mean scores from surveys like the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). This research fills a gap in the literature by demonstrating the feasibility and benefits of integrating DGB in a chess-survival roguelike setting. These findings highlight the potential for DGB to significantly improve player experience in hybrid game genres, suggesting that its application can create more adaptive and immersive gaming environments in various other genres as well. © 2025 IEEE.

Indoor positioning systems (IPS) are critical for enabling accurate navigation, asset tracking, and emergency response in indoor environments where GPS fails. This study evaluates five machine learning algorithms-K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP), Decision Tree, and Random Forest-using two benchmark datasets, UJIIndoorLoc and UTSIndoorLoc. The results reveal that SVM achieves the highest accuracy, with 81.3 % on UJIIndoorLoc and 92 % on UTSIndoorLoc, followed by MLP with $\mathbf{7 8. 8 \%}$ and 90.9 %, respectively. Random Forest provides stable performance, with 77.6 % and 86.08 %, while KNN reaches 75 % and 89.7 %, performing well in structured environments. Decision Tree shows the lowest accuracy, 71.2 % and 76.54 %, highlighting its limitations with complex data. The UTSIndoorLoc dataset consistently yields higher accuracies, demonstrating its structured signal distribution. These findings underscore SVM and MLP as optimal algorithms for Wi-Fi fingerprinting IPS, offering robust and scalable solutions for indoor localization.

As cybersecurity threats evolve alarmingly, conventional defense strategies are becoming increasingly ineffective. In response to this urgent challenge, our study presents a transformative approach to red-teaming exercises by integrating the MITRE ATT&CK framework. This innovative integration leverages real-world attacker tactics and behaviors to create highly realistic scenarios that rigorously test defenses and uncover previously unidentified vulnerabilities. Our comprehensive evaluation demonstrates a significant enhancement in the realism and effectiveness of red-teaming, leading to improved vulnerability identification and the generation of actionable insights for proactive remediation. This study uniquely contributes by providing a structured, data-driven methodology that aligns current defenses with emerging threat tactics and promotes continuous improvement in cybersecurity resilience. Such advancements are essential for organizations seeking to stay ahead of attackers and maintain robust cyber defenses in dynamic threat environments. The significance of this study lies in offering a structured approach to strengthen cybersecurity resilience against evolving threats and providing a model for continual defense enhancement. Simulation-based learning is one of the most powerful tools to support the educational process. This learning offers an opportunity to learn based on experiences that are very similar to real-world environments. In the context of logistics, which can be considered a complex system, significant efforts are required to enhance students' understanding and practical skills. For that reason, simulations are used so that benefits such as skills and knowledge in the field of logistics can be achieved. However, there are currently several challenges in developing simulation-based learning in higher education. These challenges include the need for simulations that are appropriate for the current learning context, where the students are generally from Generation Z, and how to improve their learning quality in the era of Industry 4.0. To address these challenges, more suitable simulations need to be developed, and higher education institutions must carefully examine how to develop them, including identifying the essential components in the development of simulations for logistics learning. In this research, a systematic literature review using the PRISMA method and also creating a conceptual model of simulation that better meets the current needs of logistics education will be proposed. The results of this research can be used as a basis for developing updated simulations to better prepare students for the challenges of Industry 4.0.

The Google Sheets is a cloud technology part of Google Drive. Google Drive is a cloud operating system owned by Google's search engine. National Elementary School (SDN) to make a report book or Basic Education Databook (Dapodik) still use Microsoft Excel, which has the effect of delaying the delivery of report results to parents. This happens because to fill in the DAPODIK score must be filled by teachers who teach subjects in class. This study aims to provide knowledge to teachers in collaborating to fill DAPODIK and measure how reliable the delivery of material received by each teacher. Using the method of reliability Kuder Richardson KR-20 and KR-21 produces a value before the training on reliability values KR-20 = 0.6328, and KR-21 = 0.6000, after the training, the reliability values KR-20 = 0.5788 and KR-21 = 0.6231. From these results, it is known that the value after training for KR-21 has increased and according to the conventional correlation coefficient. In future research can be re-developed by making application system recommendations in determining teachers in schools to become instructors in accordance with the capabilities possessed based on the reliability testing results of the KR-20 and KR-21. © 2019 IEEE.

The development of technology and the internet is one of the critical factors that must be considered by companies especially those engaged in e-commerce. The web-based application is one of the tools used by e-commerce in making it easier for users to conduct transactions and data processing. The application that developed must be calculated carefully so the effectiveness and efficiency can be appropriately maintained. In this research, the calculation of the size of the software, effort, time, staff, and the total cost needed to work on an application was calculated using the Function Point Analysis (FPA) and Constructive Cost Model II (CoCoMo II) methods. The application that has been analyzed and estimated is Merchant Application Portal (MAP) which is an application designed by one of the companies in Indonesia. The estimation results obtained, scilicet the size of software amounted to 10,02972 KLOC, effort amounted to 48.521 Person Month, time development of 13 months, staff needed as many as four staff, and the estimated cost amounted to IDR 13,828,852.79 or $ 971.54. In addition, this calculation can be used by other companies to find out the resources needed in making a software to be more effective and efficient. © 2021 ACM.

Hoaxes are something that can not be avoided, especially in Indonesia, where the literacy rate in Indonesia is quite low, they are easy to believe in news without doing fact check. The worst thing is that news that is trusted by the public may not be read completely through the entire content. They believe, from the title alone could already covers the entire content of the news. Media in the other side, are also competing to make controversial titles so that their traffic is improved. The research that will be carried out by us is where we can classify a news whether it is a fact or a hoax from the title alone. The RoBERTa (A Robustly Optimized BERT Pretraining Approach) model will be used in this study, because in several previous studies RoBERTa has proven to be good for classification. The accuracy achieved in this study also reached 99.52% with an accuracy validation of 93.84% which shows that even with an imbalanced dataset the classification shows a promising result by using the RoBERTa model which data is balanced using the undersampling method. © 2022 IEEE.

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze what has been done by previous studies in knowing the problems faced by SMEs today and how the influence of Industry 4.0 technology in dealing with problems in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), so that they become developed and can maintain their business continuity. Most studies show that SMEs have considerable barriers when trying to use the potential of Industry 4.0 to improve the competitiveness and long-term sustain ability of their business. This systematic literature review uses the Kitchenham technique to identify SME problems and the role of Industry 4.0 technologies in SMEs in various industrialized and developing countries. Through several databases including: IEEE, science Direct, Web of science, Taylor & Francis, Emerald and Springer between 2019 - 2023 were used to find relevant research articles in this study. The research findings offer valuable perspectives on the strategies, obstacles and prospects that SMEs in different countries face in adjusting to Industry 4.0. The contribution of academics in this research is to provide solutions by designing more robust approaches to promote the business sustainability of SMEs and their role in driving economic progress in their countries. © 2023 IEEE.

Text mining is a data mining technique to find hidden things from a set of data in the form of text. One of the things that can be obtained with text mining is opinion or sentiment, whether it is positive or negative. Positive sentiment is used as a reference for a subject or object from a collection of texts to be recommended. Java Island is the city with the most population in Indonesia with a variety of culinary delights. This study aims to analyze sentiment recommendations on culinary data from food or cuisine in big cities on the island of Java. Four big cities were selected, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. The data source is a tweet of culinary arts of the four cities from Twitter in Indonesia. The Sastrawi Library is used as a text mining data processing tool in Indonesia. The results obtained are the majority of positive sentiments from all cities. The cumulative sentiment value of the four cities is 54%, meaning that the big cities on the island of Java have good culinary delights and deserve to be recommended to be enjoyed. © 2021 IEEE.
