The Pongkor post-mining area is designated as one of the ecotourism areas in Bogor. This area has biodiversity of flora and fauna. This study aims to: (1) analysis the importance value index (IVI) of flora types; (2) analysis species richness index, species diversity index, and relative species abundance index; (3) analysis the beauty, the uniqueness and the rarity of the flora and fauna types. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. Based on the identification results, 185 species of flora are distributed in this region. During the rainy season, 15 species of herpetofauna were identified, 32 types of aves, and 4 types of mammals, while in the dry season 19 species of herpetofauna were identified, 23 types of aves, and 2 types of mammals. Based on the results of the analysis conducted on these flora and fauna, there are flora species that have high IVI values and some beautiful and unique flora species that are in the category of endangered species. Besides that, there are also fauna species which have a value of species richness index, species diversity index, and relative species abundance index, as well as some beautiful, unique, and fauna species that are in the category of endangered species.

The project aims to build a working prototype for analysis of potential energy of water flow in pipe ½ 'by using micro tangential turbines with a loss running low, constituting a small-scale model for the study power generation thereof, setting parameters related to a hydraulic distribution system operation residential drinking water. Taking advantage of the electric power, a microturbine is obtained by decanting flow through it. The research methodology is descriptive quantitative approach, to develop the project initially performed a literature review, followed by identification of the electrical variables and characteristics of the prototype to generate a simulation of a real hydraulic circuit, it followed this comes the recognition and selection of the elements for retrofitting. Thermoacoustic cooling for surface combatants

Currently he is the program manager for the TRITON Thermoacoustic Program and heads ARL Penn State's surface ship application effort in transferring new technology into the surface ship fleet. Over the last 15 years at ARL Penn State he served as program manager for marine composite applications programs as well as various ATD torpedo programs including the ADCAP upgrade. He spent 16 years working for the Navy where he served as Ship Design Manager for the MSH and Deputy Ship Design Manager for the DDG 51 class among other earlier duties. Mr. Johnson is a member of SNAME ASNE Tau Beta Pi the Association Scientists and Engineers (ASE) and recipient of the Navy's Meritorious Civilian Service Award. Steven Garrett:received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1977 followed by the Hunt Postdoctoral Fellowship of the Acoustical Society of America at University of Sussex in England and a Miller Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Physics Department at UC Berkeley. During that time his research centered on acoustical measurements of super fluid hydrodynamics. Dr. Garrett joined the faculty of the Naval Postgraduate School in 1982 where his research efforts were concentrated on the development of fiber-optic sensors systems automated in situ sonar transducer monitoring systems and thermoacoustic refrigeration. He left NPS in 1995 to assume his current position as the United Technologies Corporation Professor of Acoustics in the graduate program in acoustics and as senior scientist at the Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State. Thermoacoustic cooling technology uses high amplitude acoustic standing waves in inert gasses to pump heat It requires no toxic, ozone-depleting, or global warming gasses and has few or no moving Parts, no sliding seals and requires no lubrication for robust and very low maintenance operation. Thermoacoustic cooling units have been demonstrated aboard the Space Shuttle in 1992 and aboard the USS Deyo (DD 989) in 1,995 to cool radar electronics. Currently, a 3-ton electrically driven unit is being built for shipboard application. This 3-ton unit will enable the ship designer to provide greater combat system survivability through distributed system architecture and reduced manning by unit simplicity and resulting high reliability. Additionally, waste heat cooling is an emerging thermoacoustic technology that could utilize stack gas heat from main gas turbine engines or from gas turbines generators to create shipboard cooling. The benefits of this waste heat cooling is lower infrared (IR) signature and reduced fuel consumption.

Pongkor Mining Ecotourism Area has a diverse landscape character as a potential landscape resources for the development of ecotourism destination. This area is part of the Mount of Botol Resort, Halimun Salak National Park (HSNP). This area also has a fairly high biodiversity. This study aims to identify and analysis the category of landscape character in the Pongkor Mining Ecotourism Area for the development of ecotourism destination. This study used a descriptive approach through field surveys and interviews, was carried out through two steps : 1) identify the landscape character, and 2) analysis of the landscape character. The results showed that in areas set aside for ecotourism destination in Pongkor Mining, landscape character category scattered forests, tailing ponds, river, plain, and the built environment. The Category of landscape character most dominant scattered in the area is forest, here is the river, plain, tailing ponds, the built environment, and plain. The landscape character in a natural environment most preferred for ecotourism activities. The landscape character that spread in the natural environment and the built environment is a potential that must be protected and modified such as elimination of incongruous element, accentuation of natural form, alteration of the natural form, intensification and enhanced visual quality intensively to be developed as a ecotourism destination area.

The physiological response of motorcyclists significantly related to driving stress can be used as an indicator of traffic safety measurement. The driver’s stress can be measured using heart and respiration rates. In this study, the experiment was conducted along the busiest urban arterial road in the capital city of Aceh province. This research aims to provide empirical results expected to determine the safety threshold for motorcyclists’ stress on arterial roads in Banda Aceh City. The Polar Vantage V2 Smartwatch Multisport is used to measure the heart and respiration rate of volunteer motorcycle users. A total of 25 volunteer motorcycle users contributed to this study, with a total of collected data 750. The Heart Rate Variability (HRV) method and driving stress were discovered to be essential factors in measuring traffic accidents. The variables observed were the Heart Rate (HR) and Respiration Rate (RR) using Polar Vantage V2. Furthermore, the GoPro camera uses to record the geometric conditions of the targeted road segment. The findings from our experiment reveal that the average HR and RR for the volunteer are 96 bpm, and 24 bpm, respectively. These HR and RR values show that motorcyclists in Banda Aceh are considered to have abnormal HR and RR. Consequently, they considered unsafe driving stress.

Organ-on-a-chip systems are miniaturized microfluidic 3D human tissue and organ models designed to recapitulate the important biological and physiological parameters of their in vivo counterparts. They have recently emerged as a viable platform for personalized medicine and drug screening. These in vitro models, featuring biomimetic compositions, architectures, and functions, are expected to replace the conventional planar, static cell cultures and bridge the gap between the currently used preclinical animal models and the human body. Multiple organoid models may be further connected together through the microfluidics in a similar manner in which they are arranged in vivo, providing the capability to analyze multiorgan interactions. Although a wide variety of human organ-on-a-chip models have been created, there are limited efforts on the integration of multisensor systems. However, in situ continual measuring is critical in precise assessment of the microenvironment parameters and the dynamic responses of the organs to pharmaceutical compounds over extended periods of time. In addition, automated and noninvasive capability is strongly desired for long-term monitoring. Here, we report a fully integrated modular physical, biochemical, and optical sensing platform through a fluidics-routing breadboard, which operates organ-on-a-chip units in a continual, dynamic, and automated manner. We believe that this platform technology has paved a potential avenue to promote the performance of current organ-on-a-chip models in drug screening by integrating a multitude of real-time sensors to achieve automated in situ monitoring of biophysical and biochemical parameters.

This study investigates the density level of the Jabodetabek KRL stations and routes and the spatial pattern of the Jabodetabek KRL. The method used is spatial autocorrelation calculation using the Moran's Index putting on data PT KCI from 2014 through 2020, spatial data from BIG, and BPS population data. The study results show that the stations and the routes were congested. Still, there was a drastic decrease in passengers when the Covid-19 outbreak entered Indonesia in March 2020. There was positive autocorrelation and spatial patterns forming Clusters which means that it is necessary to create new lines and stations to break up the current overcrowding of train passengers. As a result, understanding the density level of stations and routes and the passenger density distribution pattern at Jabodetabek stations may be utilized to design the building of new stations and lines at KRL Jabodetabek, thereby increasing the degree of comfort, safety, and security.

He is currently an Associate Executive Director of the Network Technology Division at COMSAT Laboratories. He has been involved in research and development activities in ISDN VSAT networks data communications and network systems and architectures. Prior to his current positions Dr. Chitre was a Principal Scientist in the Network Technology Division at COMSAT Laboratories. Dr. Chitre joined COMSAT Laboratories in 1980. He has made major contributions to the analysis and architecture of data communication ISDN and BISDN via satellite. Dr. Chitre directs and participates in the international and national standards activities in ISDN BISDN and data communication as they apply to satellite communication. He was Chairman of the Working Group on Protocols and Network Timing Function of the CCIR/CCITT Joint Ad Hoc Group on ISDN/Satellite Matters during 1990–1992. Currently he is the Chairman of the Working Group on New Technologies in the ITU Intersector Coordinating Group (ICG) on Satellite Matters. Dr. Chitre was a programme manager during 1990 and 1991 on a contract from INTELSAT on systems studies on satellite communications systems architectures for ISDN and broadband ISDN systems. Currently he is the technical manager of the DoD Contract on ATM via satellite demonstration and the programme manager for the INTELSAT contract on analysis and top-level specification of INTELSAT ISDN subnetworks and SDH compatible transport network. The role of satellite communications in networks that provide new services, such as frame relay and multimedia, is investigated. Both passive and active (on-board switching/processing) satellite systems are considered. Novel techniques are developed for each system to demonstrate, via detailed analysis and simulation, how the communications bandwidth agility of multipoint/broadcast satellite channels, and the on-board switching/processing, makes it feasible to provide these new services via hybrid satellite and terrestrial networks in a resource-efficient manner.

The pivotal role of soil as a resource is not fully appreciated by the general public. Improving education in soil science represents a challenge in a world where soil resources are under serious threat. Today's high school students, the world's future landowners, agriculturalists, and decision makers, have the potential to change society's apathy towards soils issues. This research aimed to compare the level of soil education in high and/or secondary schools in forty-three countries worldwide, together comprising 62% of the world's population. Comparisons were made between soil science content discussed in educationally appropriate textbooks via a newly proposed soil information coefficient (SIC). Interviews with teachers were undertaken to better understand how soil science education is implemented in the classroom. Statistical analyses were investigated using clustering. Results showed that gaps in soil science education were most commonly observed in countries where soil science is a non-compulsory or optional subject. Soil science concepts are predominantly a part of geography or environmental science curricula. Consequently, considerable variability in soil science education systems among investigated countries exists. Soil information coefficient's outcomes demonstrated that a methodological approach combining textbooks and the use of modern digitally based strategies in the educational process significantly improved soil education performances. Overall, soil science education is under-represented in schools worldwide. Dynamic new approaches are needed to improve pivotal issues such as: i) promoting collaborations and agreements between high school and universities;ii) encouraging workshops and practical exercises such as field activities;and, iii) implementing technology tools. This, in turn, will prepare the next generation to contribute meaningfully towards solving present and future soil problems.

Transformative artificially intelligent tools, such as ChatGPT, designed to generate sophisticated text indistinguishable from that produced by a human, are applicable across a wide range of contexts. The technology presents opportunities as well as, often ethical and legal, challenges, and has the potential for both positive and negative impacts for organisations, society, and individuals. Offering multi-disciplinary insight into some of these, this article brings together 43 contributions from experts in fields such as computer science, marketing, information systems, education, policy, hospitality and tourism, management, publishing, and nursing. The contributors acknowledge ChatGPT's capabilities to enhance productivity and suggest that it is likely to offer significant gains in the banking, hospitality and tourism, and information technology industries, and enhance business activities, such as management and marketing. Nevertheless, they also consider its limitations, disruptions to practices, threats to privacy and security, and consequences of biases, misuse, and misinformation. However, opinion is split on whether ChatGPT's use should be restricted or legislated. Drawing on these contributions, the article identifies questions requiring further research across three thematic areas: knowledge, transparency, and ethics;digital transformation of organisations and societies;and teaching, learning, and scholarly research. The avenues for further research include: identifying skills, resources, and capabilities needed to handle generative AI;examining biases of generative AI attributable to training datasets and processes;exploring business and societal contexts best suited for generative AI implementation;determining optimal combinations of human and generative AI for various tasks;identifying ways to assess accuracy of text produced by generative AI;and uncovering the ethical and legal issues in using generative AI across different contexts. © 2023 The Authors
