Indonesia is earthquake and tsunami prone areas, included Sumatera Island. Bandar Lampung is also vulnerable to earthquake and tsunami, especially Kangkung fishing village in Lampung Bay. Disaster risk reduction is very important to be implemented in the cases of earthquake and tsunami, which can save more life and build resilience in facing the hazard. This research aimed to study how the knowledge, awareness, and resilience of people in Kangkung fishing village can strengthen the earthquake and tsunami disaster risk reduction. This research conducted by quantitative methods. Survey and interview of 53 respondents were conducted as well as data collecting approached by purposive sampling. The results found that there is little knowledge and awareness of people in Kangkung fishing village of the hazard of earthquake and tsunami. Therefore, this research proposed a model of "Community-Based Resilience Strategy"Model of earthquake and tsunami disaster risk reduction. It is a comprehensive and sustainable model of how people take a part in disaster risk reduction by intensive participatory. Conclusion of this research emphasized that disaster risk reduction is a big matter in marginalized society such as people in Kangkung fishing village. The "Community-Based Resilience Strategy"Model of earthquake and tsunami disaster risk reduction that may increase the knowledge and awareness to become more resilience. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Flood susceptibility mapping become crucial for describing flood risk zones and development mitigation actions. By means of a multi-criteria decision analysis-Analytical Hierarchy Process (MCDA-AHP), this study examined flood-inundation of Keureuto watershed in North Aceh. The study employed a mixture of AHP and GIS (Geographic Information System) on a fuzzy environment, and tested with the field observation by mean of AUC-ROC method to see its accuracy. Eleven key criteria that can trigger floods were chosen: rainfall, flow accumulation, river density, distance to the river, elevation, slope, TWI, LULC, soil type, NDVI, and curvature. The significance of all of criteria was arranged based on the weights which is determined using Fuzzy-AHP (FAHP) pairwise comparison matrix (PCM). The highest flood-triggering criteria were rainfall (0.199), TWI (0.159), flow accumulation (0.143), distance to rivers (0.094), and slope (0.091). Based on fuzzy overlay, the area of $323.747 \mathrm{~km}^{2}\left(34.635 \%\right.$ of $934.745 \mathbf{k m}^{2}$ of total area) was high to very high flood susceptibility which is mostly concentrated in downstream of river basin, while the area of $610.998 \mathrm{~km}^{2}(65.365 \%$ of the total area) has moderate to very low flood susceptibility. where the model achieved a higher AUC value of $\mathbf{7 7. 8 9 \%}$, indicating better performance. It is proved that the FAHP model is very good for forecasting flood-inundation areas in the Keureuto River basin.

Analysis of the effect of toll gate geometry designs on traffic accidents in toll gate on Tangerang-Merak toll road

According to the data of accidents occurred throughout the period from January 2014 to September 2018 on the Tangerang-Merak toll road, there were 3117 traffic accidents which were spread across 72.4 kilometers of the Tangerang-Merak toll road. From the total number of 3117 accidents, 214 traffic accidents or 7% have occurred centrally in 10 Toll Gate locations. The picture of this situation seems to require further in-depth evaluation on why the accident at the Toll Gate whose location is centrally located is quite high compared to the accidents occured along the toll road section where the location is scattered, while the vehicle speed at the location of the Toll Gate should be already in low speed before stopping to make a toll payment transaction.

As part of traffic management, Yellow Box Junction must be optimized because this marking must take precedence over APILL in traffic congestion at the intersection. The crossing performance with YBJ does have a high degree of saturation, especially from the north at Jl. Ir Sukarno - Jl. Dharmawangsa and from the west at the junction of Jl. Adityawarman - Jl. Kutai Violations against YBJ were dominated by motorbikes (90%) in terms of forcing them to enter YBJ when there were still vehicles from other approaches namely 399 vehicles/hour. Most motorists have seen the yellow square markings at the YBJ junction (75% LV, 67% MC), few know that the mark is YBJ (44% LV, 28% MC) and most respondents do not know the meaning and function that YBJ can decipher traffic jam at the intersection. Only a few respondents have ever listened to or seen a socialization about YBJ, so it is necessary to find an appropriate formula for socialization to road users.

In this study, we presented the defect identification analysis based on the level-set type topology optimization using hammering testing data. To simulate the oscillation behavior of concrete structure, the equation of motion in three dimensions is introduced as the governing equation. The performance function is defied by the time integral of the squared residual between the computed and observed displacements. The problem is to find the defect topologies so as to minimize the performance function. In the model with a small number of observation points, it was found that nonexistent defects disappeared by using the weighted sensitivity method. In addition, it was confirmed that the model with a large number of observation points did not show the same tendency as the model with a small number of observation points because the accuracy of defect identification increased as the number of observation points increased. © 2023

In this study, using a new high volume blast furnace slag cement type C developed in order to improve the effect of inhibition of thermal crack in concrete and the resistance of thermal crack by means of expansion strain in early age obtained by appropriately selecting the dosage of gypsum and calcium carbonate, experiments to evaluate the material were carried out using the testing device in which it was possible to simulate the behavior of thermal stress inside the member in existing structure in the laboratory in order to evaluate the resistance of cracking of concrete. As the result, it was confirmed to have the resistance of crack in which concrete used the new high volume blast furnace slag cement type C was more superior to concrete using Ordinary Portland cement and Portland blast furnace slag type B on the cracking time and stress at cracking. Furthermore, it was also confirmed to the effect of stress relaxation caused by creep in which concrete used the new high volume blast furnace slag cement type C was more superior to the above concrete. © 2016 International Committee of the SCMT conferences. The purchasing strategy of commodities in a construction project is one of the things that determine the success of a project. Commodities in construction projects are very diverse, thus the commodity purchasing strategy will be focused on strategic commodities. Important strategic commodities are determined by contractors in managing logistics to support the implementation of the projects they are working on. This paper discusses the purchasing strategy for small-sized contractors who are usually working on building projects in Greater Bandung areas. The methodology used for this study were identifying strategic commodities by conducting a survey of 10 small-sized contractors in Greater Bandung areas, getting an assessment of strategic commodities, and to trace the historical data of the project, confirming the value of purchasing strategic commodities, then analyze the appropriate purchasing strategy by doing literature review while considering the nature of strategic commodities. The results of the study show that strategic commodities in buildings are sand, cement, concrete, reinforcing steel, brick, and glass.

The Use of Integral Transform in Calculating Structured Interaction of Layered Soil Caused by Dynamic Loads

This study applies the Integral Transform Method (ITM) to solve the problems caused by dynamic loads that work on structures and its interactions with the soil. The structure and part of the soil from the half space layer are modeled with Finite Elements (FEM) where at the boundary must be coupled with the dynamic stiffness matrix from the half space calculating used Integral Transform. To obtain the dynamic stiffness matrix of the half space, the wave equation in the elastic half space which is a coupled partial differential equations must be uncoupled first with Helmholtz's potential then it is used integral transform to find the wave equation in the transform domain. To get a response to the original domain, reverse transformation is performed using Inverse Integral Transform. This method is known as ITM - FEM Coupling.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between vehicle distance (gap) formed by the vehicle volume. For this reason, in this study, there were 16 (sixteen) roads that were used as objects of research. To get the values from the gap variable, the VISSIM software is used in the data processing. In the use of this software calibration and validation are done by trial and error to produce simulation results that can replicate the actual traffic conditions. The results of this study indicate that statistically from the coefficient of determination and F test conducted concluded that there is a significant relationship between vehicle volume and gap.

The effect of earthquake on architecture geometry with non-parallel system irregularity configuration

Indonesia is an area prone to earthquake that may cause casualties and damage to buildings. The fatalities or the injured are not largely caused by the earthquake, but by building collapse. The collapse of the building is resulted from the building behaviour against the earthquake, and it depends on many factors, such as architectural design, geometry configuration of structural elements in horizontal and vertical plans, earthquake zone, geographical location (distance to earthquake center), soil type, material quality, and construction quality. One of the geometry configurations that may lead to the collapse of the building is irregular configuration of non-parallel system. In accordance with FEMA-451B, irregular configuration in non-parallel system is defined to have existed if the vertical lateral force-retaining elements are neither parallel nor symmetric with main orthogonal axes of the earthquake-retaining axis system. Such configuration may lead to torque, diagonal translation and local damage to buildings. It does not mean that non-parallel irregular configuration should not be formed on architectural design; however the designer must know the consequence of earthquake behaviour against buildings with irregular configuration of non-parallel system. The present research has the objective to identify earthquake behaviour in architectural geometry with irregular configuration of non-parallel system. The present research was quantitative with simulation experimental method. It consisted of 5 models, where architectural data and model structure data were inputted and analyzed using the software SAP2000 in order to find out its performance, and ETAB2015 to determine the eccentricity occurred. The output of the software analysis was tabulated, graphed, compared and analyzed with relevant theories. For areas of strong earthquake zones, avoid designing buildings which wholly form irregular configuration of non-parallel system. If it is inevitable to design a building
