Text classification (TC) is widely used for organizing digital documents. The issues in TC are numerous characteristics and high-element dimensions. Many pattern classification issues require feature selection (FS), which is pertinent. FS removes unneeded and redundant data from the dataset. The Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) and Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) for FS are the main topics of our thorough assessment of the literature on the Swarm Intelligence (SI) algorithm. Furthermore, it illustrates how the hybrid SI technique is used in FS across various sectors. The hybrid SI technique uses applicable data from various FS methods to find feature subsets with smaller sizes and better classification performance than those found by regular FS algorithms. © 2022 IEEE.

Aluminium nano-powder has a small particle size, large specific surface area, and high surface energy, therefore when using it, the risk of fires or explosions is high. In this study, synchronous thermal analyser was used to determine the thermal reaction characteristics of aluminium nano-powder for various oxygen and nitrogen mixtures. The results showed that the oxidation behaviour of aluminium nano-powder could be considered to occur in four stages, according to the characteristic temperature points and polymorphic phase changes. Under experimental heating rates of 5, 10, 15, and 20 K/min, the mass gain and thermal effects of the samples were tested, and also for different oxygen concentrations of 9, 15, and 21 vol%. Changes in the microstructure of the samples were analysed. Oxide layer thickness was found to increase as temperature increased, and this trend was the same for mass change. Surface morphology images of the aluminium particles exhibited agglomeration, melting deformation, rupture, and fragmentation at the different pretreated temperatures of 500, 650, 800, and 900 °C. The results of this study could be used as a basis for exploring oxidation kinetics, and had significance for explosion-proofing technology, particularly with respect to aluminium nano-powder. © 2022 The Institution of Chemical Engineers

AUV is a powerful tool for exploration and development of marine resources. Underwater terrain matching navigation is an emerging passive autonomous navigation method, which improves the long-term and high-precision navigation capability of AUV. The underwater terrain matching algorithm based on particle filter(PF) use a large number of particle sampling to approximate the system state, which can avoid the Taylor expansion truncation error caused by the terrain linearization method, and has good matching precision and terrain adaptability. However, due to the strong nonlinearity and the uneven distribution of the underwater terrain features, it is difficult to achieve the full-range terrain matching optimize with a single configuration parameter of PF underwater terrain matching algorithm. For this reason, this paper has comprehensively studied the PF terrain matching algorithm(referred to as PF matching algorithm). The principle, accuracy and implementation steps of PF algorithm are analyzed. With the UKF algorithm as a reference, the advantages and disadvantages of PF-based algorithm are studied through computer simulation of terrain matching navigation. The matching precision and terrain adaptability of PF-based algorithm has been tested. From the simulation results, it is concluded that the particle diversity decline is one of the main factors affecting the matching performance, which provides a basis for algorithm performance improvement and engineering adaptability improvement.

Defects in gastric progenitor cell differentiation are associated with various gastric disorders, including atrophic gastritis, intestinal metaplasia, and gastric cancer. However, the mechanisms underlying the multilineage differentiation of gastric progenitor cells during healthy homeostasis remain poorly understood. Here, using a single-cell RNA sequencing method, Quartz-Seq2, we analyzed the gene expression dynamics of progenitor cell differentiation toward pit cell, neck cell, and parietal cell lineages in healthy adult mouse corpus tissues. Enrichment analysis of pseudotime-dependent genes and a gastric organoid assay revealed that EGFR-ERK signaling promotes pit cell differentiation, whereas NF-κB signaling maintains gastric progenitor cells in an undifferentiated state. In addition, pharmacological inhibition of EGFR in vivo resulted in a decreased number of pit cells. Although activation of EGFR signaling in gastric progenitor cells has been suggested as one of the major inducers of gastric cancers, our findings unexpectedly identified that EGFR signaling exerts a differentiation-promoting function, not a mitogenic function, in normal gastric homeostasis.

Activated carbon is a versatile porous material that widely applied to purify, deodorize, decolorize, remove or reduce some gases harmful constituents and storage of gas. For different application different characteristics of activated carbon is required. This paper concerns to find out the characteristics of activated carbons derived from tabah bamboo (Gigantochloc nigrociliata) that physically activated with different activation holding time. Prepared tabah bamboo was carbonized by heating up to the temperature of 800 °C for two hours. The char produced was powdered and then activated physically by heating up to 800 °C, soaked at that temperature during each 1, 1.5 and 2 hours under 100 mL/min N2 flow. Activated carbons manufactured were characterized by proximate and ultimate analyses and SEM observation. The results show that the highest fix carbon (82.52%) and lowest ash (5.91 %) was obtained at 1 hour soaking time with moisture and volatile contents were 3.56% and 8.00 % respectively;the highest carbon (C) content of 84.16 % was yielded at soaked time of 1.5 hours;SEM observation shows that there were significant differences of morphology structure between raw material and activated carbons for all of the soaking time variations. The pores structures have been formed in the activated carbons produced. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Low-Rate Denial of Service (LDoS) attacks, an emerging breed of DoS attacks, present a formidable challenge in terms of their detectability. Within the realm of network security, these attacks cast a substantial shadow over the availability and integrity of services. This study seeks to delve into the intricate mechanics of LDoS attacks and explore the landscape of developed detection methodologies. Employing bibliometric analysis, we employ a multifaceted approach to gather research insights pertaining to LDoS attack detection. This approach encompasses the examination of evolving research trends, scrutiny of widely cited scientific publications within the same domain, identification of prolific researchers shaping the field, and a judicious selection of reputable publishers for dependable information acquisition. Furthermore, our study undertakes a meticulous categorization and classification of previously proposed LDoS detection methods documented in well-established scientific literature. This endeavor not only provides a more profound comprehension of the evolutionary trajectory and thematic thrusts within LDoS attack detection research, but it also facilitates the identification of gaps and directions for future exploration. The culmination of these analytical efforts culminates in a comprehensive framework. This contribution manifests through structured categorization, classification, and a forward-looking research roadmap, which collectively serve as valuable tools for both current and aspiring researchers engaged in LDoS attack detection. In summary, this research not only delves into the complexities of LDoS attacks and their mechanisms but also augments the current understanding of detection capabilities. Kawi Language is a kind of language which has developed in Java during the Hindu-Buddhist era in the ancient Indonesian archipelago. As the time passed, Kawi began to come to extinction. To overcome this, preservation of Kawi language can be done by enhancing the understanding of culture through the use of technology. Technology that can be used for cultural preservation is one of NLP based applications such as Kawi Language to Bahasa Translator Application which is developed in this research. The translator application is an application that translates from one language to another. The result of translation of the translator application is a language that is easy to understand by the people or commonly used language. This translator application is developed to processes Kawi Language text into bahasa based on search method which each word inserted. The stemming method used is Bobby Nazief & Mima Adriani Algorithm using Kawi Language rule. The translated Kawi Language text can be a word, sentence or paragraph with the result of the Text in Bahasa as well as words, sentences or paragraphs. © The Authors, published by EDP sciences, 2018.

Knowledge of material safety properties is critical for safe handing in the chemical process industries, especially for flammable chemicals that might result in serious fires and explosions. This study investigated the flammability characteristics of methanol under working conditions during the process. The targeted fire and explosion properties, like explosion limits (UEL and LEL), vapor deflagration index (K g), maximum explosion pressure (P max), and maximum explosion pressure rise [(dP dt -1) max], were deliberately obtained via a 20-L-Apparatus in 101 kPa (i.e., 760 mmHg/1 atm), 150 and 200 °C, along with various experimental arrangements containing nitrogen (N2) or carbon dioxide (CO 2) as inert component. Particularly, this study discussed and elucidated the inert influence on the above safety-related parameters by two different inerting gases of N2 and CO2. The results indicated that adding an inert component to fuel-inert gas mixtures determined the decrease of explosion range and flammability hazard degree. The results also demonstrated that CO2 possessed higher inerting capability than N2 in this study. © 2009 Akadémiai Kiadó, Budapest, Hungary.

Efficient path planning technology for autonomous vehicles not only yields significant time savings but also contributes to reducing fuel usage. Various methodologies have been introduced and documented in the literature concerning the path planning of autonomous vehicles. While these methodologies may not ensure an optimal solution, they have demonstrated successful applications in their respective contexts, especially the ant colony algorithm. Nevertheless, not many papers discuss the literature review from the viewpoint of ant colony-based path planning. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive review encompassing the modeling, optimization criteria, and solution algorithms related to the ant colony for path planning. In this study, the review of the ant colony algorithm is divided into global and local path planning. Based on the review results, the ant colony algorithm appears suitable for global path planning. To achieve better performance, it can be combined with other algorithms such as artificial potential field (APF), genetic algorithm, and particle swarm algorithm. These studies are conducted solely in simulations. Therefore, further research should be carried out to ensure the performance of combining the ant colony and APF for autonomous vehicles for both global and local path planning.

Metformin is an antidiabetic drug that can be obtained easily in pharmacies/on the market, because it is traded freely, so people can easily buy and consume it. Ferrous metal, aluminum metal, and zinc metals are metal quite easy to find and are often used by the public. Metformin and Ferrous metal, aluminum metal and zinc metals are metal are quite familiar in the community. This research aims to deconcentrate metformin which can be obtained easily in pharmacies / on the market by electrolysis method, using ferrous metal, aluminum metal, and zinc metals are as an anode and carbon as the cathode. Electrolysis of metformin has been carried out using ferrous metal, aluminum metal, and zinc metal as an anode. The success of the electrolysis process was seen with a decrease in the sample COD index. In the case without the addition of electrolytes using ferrous metals, the COD index of the sample reduction was very low (9-17%). This research aims to increase the success of the electrolysis process, by adding various kinds of electrolytes, such as acetic acid (weak electrolytes), hydrochloric acid (strong electrolytes), sodium chloride and Fenton reagents. The addition of electrolytes can increase electrolysis yield significantly. The interaction between metformin during electrolysis is traced to the possibility of changes in the chromophore group (with UV-Visible spectra) and the functional group (with FTIR spectra) of the sample. From the research data obtained information that there is a decrease and shift in UV-Visible spectra and changes in functional groups after the electrolysis process occurs. The best electrolysis percentage is obtained, after adding NaCl solution and Fenton's reagent in the range of 50 -66%. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
