作者: McEACHEN, JOHN C.P. MILLS, H. KENT Mr. John C. P. McEachen:is the Assistant Coordinator for Tactical Electromagnetic Programs (TEMP) in the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA 06T). He is the senior civilian in NAVSEA directly concerned with the readiness and effectiveness of radars communications ECM/ESM and all other shipboard electromagnetic systems. He received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona at Tucson and his MS degree in Systems Engineering from West Coast University at Los Angeles. He has taken postgraduate courses in Electronics Engineering and Mathematics at Arizona State University and doctoral courses in Systems Engineering and Statistics at the University of Arizona. He has published several articles in the field of electronics including a paper for the Allied Radio Frequency Agency NATO Headquarters: “Current EMC Technology in Naval Ship Design with Application to other Communications-Electronic Operations.” Mr. McEachen is the originator and program manager of the Shipboard EMC Improvement Program (SEMCIP). Mr. H. Kent Mills:is an Operations Analyst and Electronic Warfare Specialist in the Technical Engineering Programs Directorate. CERBERONICS Inc. Falls Church Virginia. He is the Program Manager of EMC engineering contracts with the Navy and provides direct support to the Shipboard EMC Improvement Program (SEMCIP). He received his BS degree from Florida State University at Tallahassee then served as a Photo Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare Officer in the Marine Corps for twelve years. He has authored and co-authored several studies and articles on EMC for the Navy including an EMC Training Plan for improving Fleet Shipboard EMC Readiness. He is a member of the Society for Technical Communication and the Association of Old Crows.

M.E. and Ph.D. from Kyushu University in 1962 1964 and 1979 respectively. From 1967 to 1970 he was a Research Associate in Computer Science and Communication Engineering at Kyushu University. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of Kumamoto University in 1970 and is currently a Professor there. During 1983 to 1984 he was a Visiting Professor at the Polytechnic University Brooklyn NY. His research interests are in the areas of scattering diffraction and wave propagation in the theory of electromagnetics. Dr. Ikuno is a member of IEEE and IEE of Japan. Michim Gondo graduated from National Defense Academy Yokosuka in 1985 and received his M.E. from Kumamoto University in 1990. He is currently in the doctoral program at Kumamoto University. His research interest is in three-dimensional electromagnetic scattering. Masahiko Nkhimoto received his B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Kumamoto University in 1982 and an M.S. and Ph.D. from Kyushu University in 1984 and 1987 respectively. Since 1987 he has been a Research Associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Kurnamoto University. His research interests are in the areas of scattering and diffraction of electromagnetic waves.

Biondi:received his B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Illinois and has since taken additional graduate studies at the George Washington University. Currently he is head of the Communication Systems Application Branch code PDE 110–14 within the NAVELEXSYSCOM. Prior to his present appointment he served in the Combat Systems Division Naval Sea Systems Command and served as radar branch head in the former Naval Ship Engineering Center (NAVSEC). He was responsible for development and production of shipboard radars such as the AN/SPS-48 AN/SPS-49 AN/SPS-52 and AN/SPS-55. His primary Navy radar and combat system experience was attained during his earlier career in the Navy's Bureau of Ships where he was the AN/SPS-48 radar project engineer. In addition to ASNE which he joined in 1977 he is a member of IEEE and ASE and has had several technical papers published on radar radar antennas radar processing and transmission lines. Mr. Biondi has a total of 25 years naval experience in radar combat systems and communications. Richard W. Pride:received his B.S.E.E. from the University of Maine in 1959. Currently he is head of the Combatant Ship Section code PDE 110–143 in the Communications Systems Application Branch within the NAVELEXSYSCOM. Prior to joining the Naval Electronic Systems Command in 1974 he was the head of the Communication Antenna Design Section of the former Naval Ship Engineering Center. Harold D. Murray:received his B.S.E.E. from Vanderbilt University. Currently he is an EXCOMM program manager code PDE 110–1433 in the Combatant Ship Section of NAVELEXSYSCOM. As an EXCOMM program manager Mr. Murray is responsible for the external communications system design for the CG-47 (Aegis) class cruisers. Mr. Murray's previous government service includes 14 years at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) and 5 years at Naval Air Systems Command. (Member) completed the doctoral program of the Department of Electronic Engineering Hokkaido University in 1977 and remained as a research student. In 1978 he joined Hitachi Ltd. Presently he is a Senior Researcher at Hitachi Central Research Laboratory. He holds a Doctor of Engineering degree. He has been engaged in research on the electromagnetic field analysis boundary value problem of the surface acoustic wave interaction of the acoustic wave and optics high-performance SAW filter high-frequency circuit for satellite communication and mobile communication. In 1981 he received an Academic Promotion Award from I.E.I.C.E. In 1990 he received an IEEE MTT Microwave Prize Award. In 1991 he received a Kanto District Invention Award (from the Invention Society) and in 1993 a Commendation for Research Accomplishment from the Director of Science and Technology Agency.
