The objective of the project is to carry out the dimensioning of a photovoltaic system that allows its integration with a condensation system for the production of fresh water in isolated areas (Rural), in such a way that a sustainable condensation application capable of producing water is generated. sweet to supply small groups of inhabitants in areas where the basic supply of liquid is deficient. The study area is the Department of Santander, Colombia, specifically in the Municipality of los Santos and the area known as Mesa de los Santos, in which difficult geographical conditions are presented such as: altitude of 1650 meters above sea level and deficiency in aquifers. The methodological development proposes the analysis of the meteorological conditions of the area, the identification, selection and dimensioning of the condensing system and the photovoltaic system through the amp-hour method and the software system advisor model (SAM). Additionally, a CAD model is developed to obtain the complete schematization of the model and carry out a simulation process to analyze the behavior of the integration of the aforementioned systems. Finally, a techno-economic analysis of the proposed system is carried out.

The objective of the development of the prototype or scale model of production of hydrogen and oxygen through the electrolysis process of water is to generate an alternative with a sustainable approach, which proposes the supply or source of energy initially with a direct current power source. replaceable in the future by a photovoltaic solar system. For the development of the prototype, it began with the academic compilation of information, then the model was made in CAD, followed by the need to integrate an electronic control system and a mechanical system to obtain the final model, materials were selected and used premises for the development of the two systems, the electronic and physical schematization was carried out, chaired by the assembly and field experimentation. It is important to highlight that the constructed scale model generates hydrogen and oxygen with a low current consumption and a constant voltage, the maximum point of gas generation is the maximum point of energy consumption and its relationship is almost linear.

He is the senior civilian in NAVSEA directly concerned with the readiness and effectiveness of radars communications ECM/ESM and all other shipboard electromagnetic systems. He received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona at Tucson and his MS degree in Systems Engineering from West Coast University at Los Angeles. He has taken postgraduate courses in Electronics Engineering and Mathematics at Arizona State University and doctoral courses in Systems Engineering and Statistics at the University of Arizona. He has published several articles in the field of electronics including a paper for the Allied Radio Frequency Agency NATO Headquarters: “Current EMC Technology in Naval Ship Design with Application to other Communications-Electronic Operations.” Mr. McEachen is the originator and program manager of the Shipboard EMC Improvement Program (SEMCIP). Mr. H. Kent Mills:is an Operations Analyst and Electronic Warfare Specialist in the Technical Engineering Programs Directorate. CERBERONICS Inc. Falls Church Virginia. He is the Program Manager of EMC engineering contracts with the Navy and provides direct support to the Shipboard EMC Improvement Program (SEMCIP). He received his BS degree from Florida State University at Tallahassee then served as a Photo Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare Officer in the Marine Corps for twelve years. He has authored and co-authored several studies and articles on EMC for the Navy including an EMC Training Plan for improving Fleet Shipboard EMC Readiness. He is a member of the Society for Technical Communication and the Association of Old Crows.

He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of Kumamoto University in 1970 and is currently a Professor there. During 1983 to 1984 he was a Visiting Professor at the Polytechnic University Brooklyn NY. His research interests are in the areas of scattering diffraction and wave propagation in the theory of electromagnetics. Dr. Ikuno is a member of IEEE and IEE of Japan. Michim Gondo graduated from National Defense Academy Yokosuka in 1985 and received his M.E. from Kumamoto University in 1990. He is currently in the doctoral program at Kumamoto University. His research interest is in three-dimensional electromagnetic scattering. Masahiko Nkhimoto received his B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Kumamoto University in 1982 and an M.S. and Ph.D. from Kyushu University in 1984 and 1987 respectively. Since 1987 he has been a Research Associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Kurnamoto University. His research interests are in the areas of scattering and diffraction of electromagnetic waves.

This paper shows that the surface current density can be calculated by using approximate total tangent magnetic vector fields which are expressed by finite number of linear combination of tangent vectors of spherical wave functions. Sampling points are determined by considering the property of associated Legendre functions and trigonometrical functions. By setting a number of sampling points to twice the largest mode number, a computer-aided algorithm is obtained. The accuracy of the solutions is checked and the polarization dependence of the surface current densities is clarified.

Biondi:received his B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Illinois and has since taken additional graduate studies at the George Washington University. Currently he is head of the Communication Systems Application Branch code PDE 110–14 within the NAVELEXSYSCOM. Prior to his present appointment he served in the Combat Systems Division Naval Sea Systems Command and served as radar branch head in the former Naval Ship Engineering Center (NAVSEC). He was responsible for development and production of shipboard radars such as the AN/SPS-48 AN/SPS-49 AN/SPS-52 and AN/SPS-55. His primary Navy radar and combat system experience was attained during his earlier career in the Navy's Bureau of Ships where he was the AN/SPS-48 radar project engineer. In addition to ASNE which he joined in 1977 he is a member of IEEE and ASE and has had several technical papers published on radar radar antennas radar processing and transmission lines. Mr. Biondi has a total of 25 years naval experience in radar combat systems and communications. Richard W. Pride:received his B.S.E.E. from the University of Maine in 1959. Currently he is head of the Combatant Ship Section code PDE 110–143 in the Communications Systems Application Branch within the NAVELEXSYSCOM. Prior to joining the Naval Electronic Systems Command in 1974 he was the head of the Communication Antenna Design Section of the former Naval Ship Engineering Center. Harold D. Murray:received his B.S.E.E. from Vanderbilt University. Currently he is an EXCOMM program manager code PDE 110–1433 in the Combatant Ship Section of NAVELEXSYSCOM. As an EXCOMM program manager Mr. Murray is responsible for the external communications system design for the CG-47 (Aegis) class cruisers. External communications is a critical element in the U.S. Navy design and utilization of a ship's combat system. The communications antenna system is a key factor in attainment of reliable circuit performance and reduction of electromagnetic interference (EMI). To maintain pace with improved ship manufacturing techniques and construction materials, along with design efforts to reduce topside generated EMI/RFI effects, an improved antenna design must also evolve. With the ever increasing complexity in the integration of the topside environment, the RF aspects of the antenna designs must be augmented by detailed analysis of the operating environment and the mechanical design if the goals of reliability and quality performance are to be achieved. The Naval electronic Systems Command has developed a new “Broadband HF Communications Antenna.” This paper traces the design evolution and describes the processes in determining current design deficiencies, the design objectives to correct these deficiencies and the results obtained.

Propagation properties of Love wave-type surface-acoustic wave on alpha-quartz

Presently he is with Hitachi Central Research Laboratory. He has been engaged in research on surface acoustic wave devices. (Member) completed the doctoral program of the Department of Electronic Engineering Hokkaido University in 1977 and remained as a research student. In 1978 he joined Hitachi Ltd. Presently he is a Senior Researcher at Hitachi Central Research Laboratory. He holds a Doctor of Engineering degree. He has been engaged in research on the electromagnetic field analysis boundary value problem of the surface acoustic wave interaction of the acoustic wave and optics high-performance SAW filter high-frequency circuit for satellite communication and mobile communication. In 1981 he received an Academic Promotion Award from I.E.I.C.E. In 1990 he received an IEEE MTT Microwave Prize Award. In 1991 he received a Kanto District Invention Award (from the Invention Society) and in 1993 a Commendation for Research Accomplishment from the Director of Science and Technology Agency. He is a senior member of IEEE. (Member) graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering Matsuyama Technical High School in 1984 and joined Hitachi Central Research Laboratory. In 1988 he graduated from the Department of Electronic Engineering Hitachi Keihin Technical School. Since then he has been engaged in research and development of the process technology of magnetic bubble memory and surface acoustic wave devices. As a piezoelectric substrate for surface acoustic wave devices, the LST cut quartz has good temperature characteristics and low propagation loss. However, as the thickness of the metal electrodes on the substrate surface is increased, propagation loss also increases. Further, the electromechanical coupling coefficient is small. In this paper, a cut angle of the quartz substrate is sought that has excellent temperature stability, low propagation loss, and a large electromechanical coupling coefficient in the present of metal electrode films. For the rotated Y-cut substrate in the neighborhood of the LST cut, the propagating surface acoustic wave (SAW) merle changes from the leaky surface wave to the Love wave-type surface acoustic wave for which. no propagation loss occurs in theory while the electromechanical coupling coefficient increased to 0.5 percent at the maximum if gold is used for the electrodes and the propagation direction of the SAW is shifted from the X axis. This is shown by simulation. By experiment, it is shown that the second-order temperature coefficient is on the same order as that of the ST-cut quartz substrate.

Autonomous systems are able to make decisions and potentially take actions without direct human intervention, which requires some knowledge about the system and its environment as well as goal-oriented reasoning. In computer systems, one can derive such behavior from the concept of a rational agent with autonomy (“control over its own actions”), reactivity (“react to events from the environment”), proactivity (“act on its own initiative”), and sociality (“interact with other agents”) as fundamental properties \n[1]\n. Autonomous systems will undoubtedly pervade into our everyday lives, and we will find them in a variety of domains and applications including robotics, transportation, health care, communications, and entertainment to name a few. \nThe articles in this month’s special issue cover concepts and fundamentals, architectures and techniques, and applications and case studies in the exciting area of self-awareness in autonomous systems.

Fungal diversity notes is one of the important journal series of fungal taxonomy that provide detailed descriptions and illustrations of new fungal taxa,as well as providing new information of fungal taxa *** article is the 11th contribution to the fungal diversity notes series,in which 126 taxa distributed in two phyla,six classes,24 orders and 55 families are described and *** in this study were mainly collected from Italy by Erio Camporesi and also collected from China,India and Thailand,as well as in some other European,North American and South American *** described in the present study include two new families,12 new genera,82 new species,five new combinations and 25 new records on new hosts and new geographical distributions as well as sexual-asexual *** two new families are Eriomycetaceae(Dothideomycetes,family incertae sedis)and Fasciatisporaceae(Xylariales,Sordariomycetes).The twelve new genera comprise Bhagirathimyces(Phaeosphaeriaceae),Camporesiomyces(Tubeufiaceae),Eriocamporesia(Cryphonectriaceae),Eriomyces(Eriomycetaceae),Neomonodictys(Pleurotheciaceae),Paraloratospora(Phaeosphaeriaceae),Paramonodictys(Parabambusicolaceae),Pseudoconlarium(Diaporthomycetidae,genus incertae sedis),Pseudomurilentithecium(Lentitheciaceae),Setoapiospora(Muyocopronaceae),Srinivasanomyces(Vibrisseaceae)and Xenoanthostomella(Xylariales,genera incertae sedis).The 82 new species comprise Acremonium chiangraiense,Adustochaete nivea,Angustimassarina camporesii,Bhagirathimyces himalayensis,Brunneoclavispora camporesii,Camarosporidiella camporesii,Camporesiomyces mali,Camposporium appendiculatum,Camposporium multiseptatum,Camposporium septatum,Canalisporium aquaticium,Clonostachys eriocamporesiana,Clonostachys eriocamporesii,Colletotrichum hederiicola,Coniochaeta vineae,Conioscypha verrucosa,Cortinarius ainsworthii,Cortinarius aurae,Cortinarius britannicus,Cortinarius heatherae,Cortinarius scoticus,Cortinarius subsaniosus,Cytospora fusispor
