The global trend in broadband internet services reveals an increased focus on reliability, customer service, and integrating new technologies like IoT, 5G, or FMC. Customer service is primarily determined by network quality and reliability, price, and the quality of customer support provided by ISPs. Meanwhile, existing network quality measurement methods often involve numerous parameters, ranging from download speed and server response time to video streaming quality, each providing a separate insight into aspects of user experience. Therefore, the importance of the composite index method is becoming increasingly relevant. This method allows the integration of these various parameters into a single, easily understandable integrated index, simplifying complex data analysis into a more concise and interpretable form. As a result of this approach, internet service providers can more effectively monitor and enhance the customer experience and the overall quality of their services for various purposes with a single composite parameter value, providing reassurance and confidence in their operations. © 2024 IEEE.

The e-commerce industry has seen significant growth over the past decade as it focuses on convenience and accessibility, leading to a surge in online shopping with more and more consumers opting for it. At the same time, the e-commerce industry faces various challenges. In order to fully harness the potential of this industry, it is important to identify its benefits and challenges and focus on pathways to mitigate the challenges and harness its growth. This study utilizes the Delphi approach and involves experts from the e-commerce domain to get their opinions to identify the top ten benefits, challenges, and pathways for the e-commerce industry. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Criteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation (CRITIC) methods are subsequently, employed to prioritize the identified factors. Results of the study revealed that factors such as affordable advertising & marketing;availability and product variety;and Global reachability are the most important benefits, while technological upgradation;returns or refunds;and counterfeit products posed the greatest challenges for the industry. Government compliance check;better relationship with delivery partners;and strong data privacy and online security policies emerged as the best pathways. This study also provides valuable insights to businesses, policymakers, and researchers in the e-commerce industry on how to navigate the benefits, challenges, and pathways of this rapidly growing sector. © 2023

Impact of preparedness on safety behavior in dealing with emergencies on container ships: an analysis of the role of safety knowledge, motivation, and awareness

The loading and unloading activities of container ships at the Tanjung Perak Port is imperative, as they can be carried out quickly and efficiently. These ships tend to have a high frequency of visits and possess the largest gross tonnage among ships used for the transportation of goods. The occurrence of an accident involving a container ship can have a detrimental effect on the seamless delivery of goods via sea transportation. Furthermore, the crew be adequately prepared in order to mitigate the risk. As evidenced by research on safety behaviour have not taken preparedness as a factor into consideration when addressing emergencies. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the impact of safety knowledge, motivation, and awareness on safety behaviour in dealing with emergencies on container ships in accordance with relevant regulations. A total of 180 ship crew members served as respondents and it analysed using SEM-PLS. The results showed that preparedness, including safety procedures, emergency training, and crew security culture is an important aspect in dealing with emergencies. Furthermore, this study obtained an R square value of 0.525 in the structural model, indicating that the independent variables have an influence on behaviour, and it was classified in the good category. © 2023 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

This research develops an intelligent automatic production loading and unloading solution for a multi-process part. According to the posture required for each processing operation of each part, a novel gripper and carrier that can implement multi-position clamping are designed. The Beckhoff controller is adopted as the host controller in the control system to integrate the robotic arm (including the vision system), the automated guided vehicle (AGV), and the computer numerical control (CNC) machine. The main topic of this research is to meet the requirements of automatic loading and unloading in the processing of the entire production line. It will significantly reduce the workforce consumption of the processing production line and avoid human error, thereby improving processing reproducibility and product production stability. © 2023 IEEE.

Deep gaining knowledge is a synthetic intelligence approach used to recognize complex facts. It uses many facts to recognize the complicated relationships between various factors. With deep learning, models can be built which might be capable of understanding the complicated patterns within big datasets. In this paper, we can explore using deep mastering in regression and type tasks on large datasets. In particular, we can use deep learning strategies to build a regression model that predicts a target value primarily based on the functions in a massive dataset and a classification version that can classify an object into one of the many classes of an extensive dataset. We can then discuss the overall performance of the fashions in comparison to standard models and talk about capability areas for development. Moreover, we will analyze the scalability of deep mastering strategies used on large datasets and discuss exceptional practices for building deep mastering fashions on massive datasets. Finally, we will summarize our findings and offer our conclusions approximately the use of deep studying in regression and type obligations on large datasets. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper examines the reproducibility of massive information analytics under particular factors. The paper proposes the 'performing Scalable Inference' technique to cope with scalability troubles and to exploit current big statistics platforms for efficient computing and statistics garage of the statistics. In particular, the paper describes how to perform leak-free, parallelizable visible analytics over massive datasets using present extensive records analytics frameworks such as Apache Flink. This method presents an automated manner to execute analytics that preserves reproducibility and the ability to make adjustments without re-running the entire technique. The paper also demonstrates how these analytics may help several real-world use instances, explore affected person cohorts for studies, and develop stratified patient cohorts for hospital therapy. In the end, the paper observes how the proposed method may be exercised within the real world. Actively scalable inference for massive information analytics is pivotal in optimizing decision-making and allocation of assets. Typically, such inferences are made based on information accumulated from numerous sources, databases, unstructured data, and different digital sources. So one can ensure scalability, a complete cloud-primarily based platform has to be hired. This solution will permit the ***, deploying the essential records series and evaluation algorithms are prime here. It could permit the platform to recognize the styles inside the statistics and discover any ability correlations or traits. Additionally, predictive analytics and system mastering strategies may be incorporated to provide insights into the results of the information. Melanoma is the most lethal skin malignancy. Fucoxanthin is a marine carotenoid with significant anticancer activities. Intriguingly, Fucoxanthin's impact on human melanoma remains elusive. Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 3 (STAT3) represents a promising target in cancer therapy due to its persistent activation in various cancers, including melanoma. Herein, we revealed that Fucoxanthin is cytotoxic to human melanoma cell lines A2758 and A375 while showing limited cytotoxicity to normal human melanocytes. Apoptosis is a primary reason for Fucoxanthin's melanoma cytotoxicity, as the pan-caspase inhibitor z-VAD-fmk drastically abrogated Fucoxanthin-elicited clonogenicity blockage. Besides, Fucoxanthin downregulated tyrosine 705-phosphorylated STAT3 (p-STAT3 (Y705)), either inherently present in melanoma cells or inducible by interleukin 6 (IL-6) stimulation. Notably, ectopic expression of STAT3-C, a dominant-active STAT3 mutant, abolished Fucoxanthin-elicited melanoma cell apoptosis and clonogenicity inhibition, supporting the pivotal role of STAT3 blockage in Fucoxanthin's melanoma cytotoxicity. Moreover, Fucoxanthin lowered BCL-xL levels by blocking STAT3 activation, while ectopic BCL-xL expression rescued melanoma cells from Fucoxanthin-induced killing. Lastly, Fucoxanthin was found to diminish the levels of JAK2 with dual phosphorylation at tyrosine residues 1007 and 1008 in melanoma cells, suggesting that Fucoxanthin impairs STAT3 signaling by blocking JAK2 activation. Collectively, we present the first evidence that Fucoxanthin is cytotoxic selectively against human melanoma cells while sparing normal melanocytes. Mechanistically, Fucoxanthin targets the JAK2/STAT3/BCL-xL antiapoptotic axis to provoke melanoma cell death. This discovery implicates the potential application of Fucoxanthin as a chemopreventive or therapeutic strategy for melanoma management. © 2024 Wiley Periodicals LLC.
