The way you move and sleep, interact with people around you, depression change everything. This even looks at the way you talk and express yourself in writing. Sometimes this 'depression language' can have a strong effect to others. Natural Language Processing (NLP) is one of the fields of computer science, artificial intelligence, and language (linguistics) related to the interaction between computers and natural human languages, such as Indonesian or English. The main objective of the NLP study is to make a machine that is able to know and understand the meaning of language, lexical analysis has the role of reading input characters and generating output tokens and making spaces, tabs, newlines and connecting rows of programs. However, the problems will occur when lexical analyzers where lexical is not able to determine when there are misspellings on tokens. Therefore, with the development of the backward-forward pointer algorithm, it is expected that in the future it will be easier to analyze both the words in front, in the middle and behind, so that the machine can quickly determine the individual depression level of speech tokens and speech tones.

Photocopying machines are machines that make paper copies of documents and other visual images quickly and cheaply. PT. TRITANU has a copy machine product, such as the Fotocpy Sharp machine Type B201D. The rapid development of photocopying technology at this time can be seen that adult photocopying machines are now not only operating copier but can scan, print, and even fax. The rapid development of photocopying technology does not necessarily provide complete convenience to users. This can be seen from the high cost of consultation in the event of damage to the photocopy machine, requiring time to check the damaged machine, and not to mention other procedures in the repair that exist at PT. TRANANU. So from to provide solutions to these problems, the researchers made an Expert System for Handling Print Results Problems on Sharp Photocopying Machines Type B201D Using the Certainty Factor Method. System testing shows that the system is able to diagnose damage to the B201D copy machine based on the symptoms in the printout, even though these symptoms contain uncertainty. The results of the diagnosis are accompanied by Certainty Factor values that indicate the level of truth, accuracy of possible damage to the B201D copy machine.

Neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase 3 (NTRK3) has pleiotropic functions: it acts not only as an oncogene in breast and gastric cancers but also as a dependence receptor in tumor suppressor genes in colon cancer and neuroblastomas. However, the role of NTRK3 in upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) is not well documented. This study investigated the association between NTRK3 expression and outcomes in UTUC patients and validated the results in tests on UTUC cell lines. A total of 118 UTUC cancer tissue samples were examined to evaluate the expression of NTRK3. Survival curves were generated using Kaplan–Meier estimates, and Cox regression models were used for investigating survival outcomes. Higher NTRK3 expression was correlated with worse progression-free survival, cancer-specific survival, and overall survival. Moreover, the results of an Ingenuity Pathway Analysis suggested that NTRK3 may interact with the PI3K-AKT-mTOR signaling pathway to promote cancer. NTRK3 downregulation in BFTC909 cells through shRNA reduced cellular migration, invasion, and activity in the AKT-mTOR pathway. Furthermore, the overexpression of NTRK3 in UM-UC-14 cells promoted AKT-mTOR pathway activity, cellular migration, and cell invasion. From these observations, we concluded that NTRK3 may contribute to aggressive behaviors in UTUC by facilitating cell migration and invasion through its interaction with the AKT-mTOR pathway and the expression of NTRK3 is a potential predictor of clinical outcomes in cases of UTUC. © 2024 The Authors. He became Professor at Tokyo Engineering University and Professor Emeritus there in 1991. In 1991 he became Professor at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and was appointed Vice President of the institute in 1992. He served successively as editor examiner secretary of general affairs inspector counsel committee-head of pattern recognition and specialized studies head of Tokyo chapter and vice president of this institute. In 1991 he became Honorary Member. He received the Paper Award from the Institute four times and the Literary Works Award once. He received the Achievement Award and the Distinguished Service Award in 1976 and 1989 respectively. He received the Purple Ribbon Medal from the Emperor in 1989.

Theoretical studies on Iijima's ''Theory of Pattern Recognition,'' which is known as a method of multiple similarity, have shown clearly that there are situations when it is difficult to determine the viewpoint and visual field, important parameters to introduce topological aspects into the pattern space, observing a figure itself. To cope with this problem, this paper proposes transforming the observed image from a figure f(r) to a second-order differential image rho(r), called ''figure source.'' The aim is to reconstruct the theory in such a way as to enable the application of similarity evaluation methods as in the conventional case, without compromising the current theory, and all the necessary proofs are given. In this paper, the figure source equation as well as rules representing its properties are developed, and several related physical quantities are redefined.

This research to quantify the impact of social-economic as parts of the execution of the errands and elements of the Lake Toba Authority Implementing Agency (BPODT), particularly for regency around Lake Toba (Simalungun Regency, Toba Samosir Regency, North Tapanuli Regency, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, Dairi Regency, Karo Regency, and Regency Samosir). The data contained in the current research has been gathered from both essential and optional information sources; starter information included traveler area information and overview information of the locale. The social and monetary effect is taken with the Human Development Index (HDI) and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) around the Lake Toba region utilizing auxiliary information. The research was done with five years of non-spatial information gathered from BPS Publication Data for each District. Changes in HDI and GRDP esteems in managerial regions around Lake Toba previously, after BPODT shaped. The result showed that if it was associated with the authority that deals with the Lake Toba region, it could officially increment the HDI in 7 areas within the Lake Toba region. This matter addresses the public authority’s efforts to focus on the Lake Toba Tourism Area Management to develop local area government assistance further.

The increasing number of vehicles that was not accompanied by an adequate road infrastructure readiness causes traffic jams. Traffic jams often occur repeatedly every day, especially at certain times, such as when people are going to and from work. The same traffic jams can also occur at the beginning or the end of the week; this usually repeats every week. As a result, if the congestion dataset is known, the repeating traffic congestion for daily and weekly congestion can be anticipated. In this study, traffic congestion predictions are modeled using the Neural Network Algorithm based on traffic congestion data collected within 24 hours for one to two weeks. The parameters used in optimizing Neural Network performance are learning rate, momentum, and epochs (training cycles). Based on these experiments, the Neural Network Algorithm successfully modeled traffic density patterns which are recurring congestion patterns, with quite good results.

Implementation of Neuron Network model using Perceptron has not given optimal result in real time learning. The large number of inputs expressed in matrix form makes the process slower in pattern recognition. So, it takes characteristic to represent all the input matrices by using the partition method. By partitioning each input and with the best weight and using the activation function will produce an output value. And learning is valid in recognizing patterns only 1 iteration only. Further validation is done on the water mill control module with dissolved oxygen input, water pH, salinity and water temperature. With Perceptron Partition learning algorithm more real-time than perceptron model. Testing on the waterwheel input whether rotating or stopping by Matrix Laboratory software simulation.

A new procedure for the optimum design of optoelectronic devices is explained in this paper and an automatic search is made simultaneously for the structure satisfying various demands. The feature of this procedure is in the introduction of cost by which the quantitative evaluation of the structure becomes possible and the global search for the required structure by simulated annealing can be carried out. First, the definition of cost and details of the optimization procedure are clarified. In optimization, in addition to convergence to the minimum point of the cost function (the optimum configuration from theoretical viewpoint), the convergence also is possible in structures with great tolerance to fabrication errors (neighborhood cost (NC) and finite temperature annealing (FTA) methods). Next, these three proposed methods are used in the design of a pnpn differential optical switch and the effectiveness of the methods is verified. The method of cost expression, the relation between annealing parameters, and convergence are investigated. It is shown that cost expression with large degree of freedom improves the search for high-performance structures and the initial temperature of annealing or the fixed temperature of FTA method is the important parameter which sets up the probability of acceptance. Further, it is shown that the convergence cost is inversely proportional to the time spent in annealing. These results are useful guidelines in the optimum design of arbitrary optoelectronic devices.

Modeling the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in East Java using negative binomial regression based on least square spline estimator

The East Java Province has experienced a significant surge in number of confirmed cases of COVID-19. This study endeavors to investigate the potential correlation between weather conditions and the incidence of number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in East Java. To achieve this, a nonparametric regression model, specifically, the Negative Binomial Regression (NBR) model based on the least squares spline estimator, was utilized. The outcomes of the study indicate that the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of nonparametic regression model is 0.30. Meanwhile, the MAPE for the parametric regression model is 0.34. The results show that a nonparametric regression model approach is better than parametric regression model approach. The study establishes that the truncated spline estimator based NBR model represents the best fit, with an MLCV value of -256.71. The findings of the study suggest that a temperature less than 21.75°C is associated with a decrease of 13.28 number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 per each 1°C increase, while a temperature between 21.75°C and 25.78°C is linked to an increase of 6.85 number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 per each 1°C increase. In contrast, a temperature greater than 25.78°C is associated with a decrease of 139.42 number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 per each 1°C increase. Similarly, a wind speed less than 5.57 m/s is related to a decrease of 12.99 number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 per each 1 m/s increase, whereas a wind speed between 5.57 m/s and 8.99 m/s is associated with a decrease of 10.29 number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 per each 1 m/s increase. Furthermore, a wind speed greater than 8.99 m/s is linked to a decrease of 19.16 number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 per each 1 m/s increase. The study provides evidence that higher temperatures and wind speeds result in a slower rise in the incidence of the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19. Transformative artificially intelligent tools, such as ChatGPT, designed to generate sophisticated text indistinguishable from that produced by a human, are applicable across a wide range of contexts. The technology presents opportunities as well as, often ethical and legal, challenges, and has the potential for both positive and negative impacts for organisations, society, and individuals. Offering multi-disciplinary insight into some of these, this article brings together 43 contributions from experts in fields such as computer science, marketing, information systems, education, policy, hospitality and tourism, management, publishing, and nursing. The contributors acknowledge ChatGPT's capabilities to enhance productivity and suggest that it is likely to offer significant gains in the banking, hospitality and tourism, and information technology industries, and enhance business activities, such as management and marketing. Nevertheless, they also consider its limitations, disruptions to practices, threats to privacy and security, and consequences of biases, misuse, and misinformation. However, opinion is split on whether ChatGPT's use should be restricted or legislated. Drawing on these contributions, the article identifies questions requiring further research across three thematic areas: knowledge, transparency, and ethics;digital transformation of organisations and societies;and teaching, learning, and scholarly research. The avenues for further research include: identifying skills, resources, and capabilities needed to handle generative AI;examining biases of generative AI attributable to training datasets and processes;exploring business and societal contexts best suited for generative AI implementation;determining optimal combinations of human and generative AI for various tasks;identifying ways to assess accuracy of text produced by generative AI;and uncovering the ethical and legal issues in using generative AI across different contexts. © 2023 The Authors
