Revealing dynamical systems and their bifurcation structure hidden by dynamical noise

This paper discusses bifurcation diagram reconstruction [1, 2] and shows by a numerical experiment that the correct bifurcation diagram of a dynamical system can be reconstructed from the signal of a chaotic dynamical system perturbed by a sufficiently large dynamical noise. It is also verified that the predictor derived using the proposed method not only can approximate the dynamical rules on the attractor, but also has an excellent global approximation ability on a sufficiently large open set containing the attractor. © 1997 Scripta Technica, Inc. Air pollution refers to the presence of hazardous substances in the air that has adverse effects on health, causing millions premature deaths annually. Ground-based stations can provide accurate measurements for monitoring air pollution. However, the spatial coverage of air pollution measurements is limited by the number of measurement instruments available in specific hotspot areas. Satellite remote sensing can reduce spatial uncertainty;however, the measurement results are mostly limited to the upper atmosphere with high measurement sensitivity. To better represent surface conditions, this study aims to model the Air Quality Index for pollutants CO, NO₂, SO₂, PM_2.5, and PM₁₀ in the global region using remotely sensed data. To support this study, 425 data points from air pollution stations distributed globally are combined using Machine Learning Linear Regression methods. Furthermore, socioeconomic and environmental data are combined with air pollution satellite to form Multiple models. According to the results of this study, the Multiple Models are more accurate than the single models, showing that the addition of socioeconomic and environmental data can enhance accuracy. The results of this study are expected to help regions without air pollution monitoring stations to estimate the air quality index using satellite data, in turn, preventing air pollution disasters. © 2023 The Author(s)

Digital Dictionary of Computer and Network engineering can be used in the learning process of computer and nerwork enginering students. Dictionaries are generally book-shaped is hard to carry because of their thick and heavy, now can be accessed anywhere by development of web technology. Digital dictionaries can be accessed through computers, laptops dan cellphones, this is make student easily in learning process. The digital dictionary can not only be used by students of computer and network engineering, but can also by general public, as long as you have an internet connection, anyone can be use this digital dictionaries. The main process in this digital dictionary is the search process. Binary search algorithm used in the search process of binary search algoritm. Binary search algoritm search is applied to word search in this digital dictionary, because this algoritm is intended for sequintal data. program language that will be used to build this digital dictionary is PHP and MySQL.

The selection of the bridge is fundamental thing to Sei Anak Muara Bulan 2 Bridge Planning. After knowing the results of capacity analysis of land and pile support capacity, ease of implementation, determine the selection of foundation planning decisions. The results of AHP implementation indicate that the aspects of land and pile carrying capacity are the main priority criteria with the amount 61.7% as the reason to determine the choice of bridge foundation and the result of alternative is the foundation of equal to 42,2%

Study of domestic wastewater in oil and gas field: A case study in the Cangkring river, Tuban, East Java

Mudi Field, Tuban is an oil and gas producing area in East Java. Pad B Mudi Field is an office area for the oil and gas industry. The oil and gas industrial office area in Pad B Mudi Field produces domestic wastewater, which is channeled into the Cangkring River. Domestic wastewater flows directly into rivers. This study aims to determine the water quality of the Cangkring River region, which is mixed with domestic wastewater from Pad B Mudi Field. Samples of river water were taken at 3 points along with the river flow. Sample evaluation included physical, chemical, and biological characteristics. Sample test results were adjusted according to domestic wastewater quality standards and water quality standards. Parameters tested include temperature, TSS, pH, BOD5, COD, ammonia (NH3), phosphate (PO43-), chromium, oils and fats, and total coliforms. The highest values of the three samples for each parameter were temperature of 20.8 °C, TSS of 13 mg/L, pH of 7.8, BOD5 of 6.53 mg/L, COD of 17.38 mg/L, ammonia (NH3) of 6.13 mg/L, phosphate (PO43-) of 1.15 mg/L, chromium of 0.01 mg/L, oils and fats of 1.6 mg/L, and total coliform of 2400/100 mL. The values of the three points of the Cangkring River water test results met all the parameters of the domestic wastewater quality standards. In testing water quality standards, Cangkring River water met all parameters of class 4 water quality standards, namely water quality that can be used to irrigate agriculture. So it can be concluded that the condition of the Cangkring River water is safe for the community but is not suitable for drinking water, recreational infrastructure, and aquaculture.

In this paper we consider a method for finding several eigenvalues and corresponding eigenvectors of large-scale generalized eigenvalue problems. In this method, a small matrix pencil that has only the desired eigenvalues is derived using complex moments obtained via numerical integration. Since the process to derive the moments can be performed in parallel and we do not need to exchange data between processes, the presented method is suitable for master-worker programming models. We have implemented and tested the proposed method in a grid RPC (remote procedure call) system. Numerical examples illustrate the properties of our approach. (© 2004 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. Consumer purchasing patterns are a form of purchases made by consumers, whether someone or a lot of people to get the desired item by making a purchase transaction. One characteristic of the purchase pattern is the existence of acquiring something through exchanging money. This study aims to create an application that is used in determining consumer purchasing patterns by applying a priori algorithms and using Visual Basic 2010 as a tool for determining consumer purchase patterns. This application uses a priori algorithm calculation method where the sample consumer purchase data will be sorted and calculated by providing the value of the minium support and configuration parameters and based on the results of confidence the largest number of conclusions such as: can be used as information for determining sales, the application of a priori algorithms can provide information pattern combination item set from consumer purchase data that is with support above 15% and confidence above 50% on item set.

Neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase 3 (NTRK3) has pleiotropic functions: it acts not only as an oncogene in breast and gastric cancers but also as a dependence receptor in tumor suppressor genes in colon cancer and neuroblastomas. However, the role of NTRK3 in upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) is not well documented. This study investigated the association between NTRK3 expression and outcomes in UTUC patients and validated the results in tests on UTUC cell lines. A total of 118 UTUC cancer tissue samples were examined to evaluate the expression of NTRK3. Survival curves were generated using Kaplan–Meier estimates, and Cox regression models were used for investigating survival outcomes. Higher NTRK3 expression was correlated with worse progression-free survival, cancer-specific survival, and overall survival. Moreover, the results of an Ingenuity Pathway Analysis suggested that NTRK3 may interact with the PI3K-AKT-mTOR signaling pathway to promote cancer. NTRK3 downregulation in BFTC909 cells through shRNA reduced cellular migration, invasion, and activity in the AKT-mTOR pathway. Furthermore, the overexpression of NTRK3 in UM-UC-14 cells promoted AKT-mTOR pathway activity, cellular migration, and cell invasion. From these observations, we concluded that NTRK3 may contribute to aggressive behaviors in UTUC by facilitating cell migration and invasion through its interaction with the AKT-mTOR pathway and the expression of NTRK3 is a potential predictor of clinical outcomes in cases of UTUC. © 2024 The Authors. The notion of the sub-exact sequence is the generalization of exact sequence in algebra especially on a module. A module over a ring R is a generalization of the notion of vector space over a field F. Refers to a special vector space over field F when we have a complete inner product space, it is called a Hilbert space. A space is complete if every Cauchy sequence converges. Now, we introduce the sub-exact sequence on Hilbert space which can later be useful in statistics. This paper aims to investigate the properties of the sub-exact sequence and their relation to direct summand on Hilbert space. As the result, we get two properties of isometric isomorphism sub-exact sequence on Hilbert space.

Classification of images containing sensitive and non-sensitive information using the convolutional neural network

Currently, social media is used by almost all ages, from pre-teens to the elderly. They use social media to socialize and express their activities by uploading pictures; however, they sometimes do not realize that the images they upload contain sensitive information. They do not carefully analyze the images to be uploaded due to a lack of knowledge, irresponsible acts, or impaired vision. Therefore, we propose a method to classify images with sensitive or non-sensitive content using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). This research was performed through several steps: image public dataset collection, data pre-processing, model architecture design, model training, and model validation. A randomly selected sample of 2,000 of 5,537 images from the VizWiz-Priv dataset was used to train the classification model. The CNN architecture was compiled using two max-pooling layers and four convolution layers. Finally, the model was trained and validated using images containing sensitive and non-sensitive information. The results revealed that the model accuracy during training and validation achieved 98.75% and 83.30%, respectively.
