This research develops an intelligent automatic production loading and unloading solution for a multi-process part. According to the posture required for each processing operation of each part, a novel gripper and carrier that can implement multi-position clamping are designed. The Beckhoff controller is adopted as the host controller in the control system to integrate the robotic arm (including the vision system), the automated guided vehicle (AGV), and the computer numerical control (CNC) machine. The main topic of this research is to meet the requirements of automatic loading and unloading in the processing of the entire production line. It will significantly reduce the workforce consumption of the processing production line and avoid human error, thereby improving processing reproducibility and product production stability. © 2023 IEEE.

Influence of tin, range from 0-0.31wt%, on the recrystallization behavior and texture of grain oriented electrical has been investigated. Tin is susceptible to segregation at grain boundary and on surface that pinning down the grain boundary mobility. Annealed hot bands in 2.5mm are cold rolled to 0.35 mm in one-stage cold rolling. Cold-rolled sheets are decarburization annealing at 800°C for 5 minutes in wet H2-N2 atmosphere. During secondary recrystallization specimens are heated to 900~1200°C and soaked 12 hours with a heating rate 12 °C per hour after 700 °C. Both X-ray and EBSD are conducted to examine the grain orientation. It is found that pinning effect of tin is very strong for secondary recrystallization. The specimens containing less than 0.05wt% tin finish secondary recrystallization after SRT at 1000 °C. The secondary recrystallization grain growth became difficult as the tin content above 0.10wt%. According to EBSD results, after primary recrystallization, the intensity of (011) texture in the specimens with nitriding 30 seconds slightly increases with increasing tin content and reaches a maximum value at 0.05wt% tin. Then, it rapidly decreases with increasing tin and reaches a minimum at 0, 21wt% tin. Finally, it increases with increasing tin again. However, the intensity of (011) texture in the specimens without nitriding decreases with increasing tin content and reaches a minimum value at 0.21 wt% tin. Then, it increases with increasing tin. Both EBSD and XRD results show that the intensities of (111) textures in the specimens both with and without nitriding decreases with increasing tin content and reaches a value at 0.05 wt% tin. Then, it increases with increasing tin and reaches a peak at 0.1wt% tin. Finally, it decreases with increasing tin again. For the specimens without nitriding treatment, while the SRT is higher than 1100°C, best magnetic properties was occurred in the steel containing 0.05 wt% tin. Distance learning is intensively used since the outbreak of the Covid-19 requires the lecture to be done from home. A variety of applications to support distance learning, including e-learning Edmodo as a learning management system with video conference jits meet to optimize lectures online. The purpose of this study is to see the course's effectiveness by using e-learning Edmodo with or without a video conference Jitsi Meet in reducing students' mistakes in answering the questions given. Research design using experimental type posttest, only group control design. The object of research consists of two classes, namely class control and class comparison. The analysis results indicate the use of an e-learning Edmodo integrated video conference Jitsi Meet provides advantages compared to only using e-learning Edmodo because it can reduce the level of error in answering questions by 50%. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Mathematical skills that are of major concern at this time are extrapolation abilities which require students to be able to solve mathematical problems with abstract and hierarchical concepts. To improve this capability, it can be done by integrating local technology-based traditions that have an educational philosophy. This study aims to review the integrated learning design of the local culture of Ma'dawa-dawa, Ma'manu-manu, Ma'pettuada based on android in improving extrapolation abilities. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with data in the form of analysis of some literature that supports research studies and is arranged descriptively containing a theoretical basis. The results of the study indicate that designed learning can be a means of developing extrapolation abilities through the integration of technology-based local cultures. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Many knowledge-sharing activities take place in educational institutions, both formally and informally. If this activity is organized with good knowledge management, then this will support a faster knowledge sharing process to get quality and innovative ideas. This paper aims to obtain a summary of existing research, issues, and opportunities for further analysis on knowledge-sharing (KS) practices in academic institutions. The phases of the systematic literature review (SLR) method are described based on Kitchenham (2009) guideline. We found 21 articles, seven articles from IEEE, nine articles from science Direct, and five articles from Springer. The collection of research data on knowledge sharing has been carried out in the United States, Australia, China, Cyprus, United Kingdom, Ghana, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Italy, Jordanian, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia, with the most research locations being Malaysia (14%) and Saudi Arabia (19%). We also attempted to identify the research topic trend of knowledge sharing research in academic institutions. We found two types of research trends of knowledge sharing research in university, including factor analysis and architecture development. Of the two categories of research trends, 76% discussed factor analysis, and 24% discussed architectural development. We also identified six methods in KS research including Partial Least Square Structure Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), questionnaire, data triangulation, focus groups discussion, observation and interview. Moreover, the most used method in related research is questionnaire, because it is a relatively inexpensive, fast and efficient way of collecting large amounts of information. © 2021 IEEE.

Voice synthesizers still present several challenges in the speech of mathematical content, as spoken mathematics has quite peculiar rules. In the synthesized speech, pauses help blind and visually impaired students identify the limits of mathematical operators and subexpressions. However, most studies on pauses define them uniformly or use simple punctuation marks to force the synthesizer to introduce pauses in certain parts of the expression. Speech is a dynamic process and pauses in expressions also need to be dynamic to make the synthetic speech of expressions more natural, as this can help in memorizing this type of content. This work proposed a dynamic model of pauses for mathematical expressions. Collected math expressions spoken by teachers were used to create the model. These expressions were useful for identifying patterns and creating a linear regression model. Blind and visually impaired students evaluated the model. Some improvements were observed when we compared the synthesized mathematical expressions with the model and Audiomath, the parameter tool used in this study. © 2022 ACM.

Images/videos captured from optical devices are usually degraded by turbid media such as haze, smoke, fog, rain and snow. Haze is the most common problem in outdoor scenes because of the atmosphere conditions. This paper proposes a novel single image-based dehazing framework to remove haze artifacts from images, where we propose two novel image priors, called the pixel-based dark channel prior and the pixel-based bright channel prior. Based on the two priors with the haze optical model, we propose to estimate atmospheric light via haze density analysis. We can then estimate transmission map, followed by refining it via the bilateral filter. As a result, high-quality haze-free images can be recovered with lower computational complexity compared with the state-of-the-art approach based on patch-based dark channel prior. ©2013 Optical Society of America.

This study conducted in Lima, Peru, a combination of spatial decisionmaking system and machine learning was utilized to identify potentialsolar power plant construction sites within the city. Sundial measurementsof solar radiation, precipitation, temperature, and altitude were collectedfor the study. Gene Expression programming (GEP), which is based on theevolution of intelligent models, and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) wereboth utilized in this investigation, and the results obtained from each werecompared. Eighty percent of the data was utilized during the training phase,while the remaining twenty percent was utilized during the testing phase. Onthe basis of the findings, it was determined that the GEP is the most suitablenetwork for predicting the location. The test state’s Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency(NSE) was 0.90, and its root-mean-square error (RMSE) was 0.04. Followingthe generation of the final map based on the results of the GEP model, itwas determined that 9.2% of the province’s study area is suitable for theconstruction of photovoltaic solar power plants, while 53.5% is acceptable and37.3% is unsuitable. The ANN model reveals that only 1.7% of the study areais suitable for the construction of photovoltaic solar power plants, while 66.8%is acceptable and 31.5% is unsuitable.

Polycaprolactone (PCL) is an important polymer due to its mechanical properties, miscibility with a large range of other polymers and biodegradability. Polycaprolactone (PCL) was chosen as the matrix because of its biodegradability characteristics. This paper reports on an investigation of the influence of the presence of bentonite. It was found that of bentonite significantly influenced the mass loss behavior of the nanocomposite because of physical interactions between the clay and the polymer chains and degradation volatiles. Melt drawing of the composite, however, had little influence on the degradation behavior of the investigated samples. Based on mechanical properties results, addition of bentonite significantly enhances the flexibility of PCL blends. TGA showed that the presence of bentonite improves thermal stability of blends. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

River Bian in Merauke Regency has been utilized by local people in Papua (the Marind) who live along the river for fulfilling their daily needs, such as shower, cloth and dish washing, and even defecation, waste disposal, including domestic waste, as well as for ceremonial activities related to the locally traditional culture. Change in land use for other necessities and domestic activities of the local people have mounted pressures on the status of the River Bian, thus decreasing the quality of the river. This study had objectives to find out and to analyze river water quality and water quality status of the River Bian, and its compliance with water quality standards for ideal use. The study determined sample point by a purposive sampling method, taking the water samples with a grab method. The analysis of the water quality was performed by standard and pollution index methods. The study revealed that the water quality of River Bian, concerning BOD, at the station 3 had exceeded quality threshold. COD parameter for all stations had exceeded the quality threshold for class III. At three stations, there was a decreasing value due to increasing PI, as found at the stations 1, 2, and 3. In other words, River Bian had been lightly contaminated. © 2018 The Authors, published by EDP sciences.
