This paper is aim to developing Information system for the labor market which specifically linking vocational schools (SMK) graduates and industries. The methods of this application using Research and Development (R&D) from Borg and Gall conducting in North Sulawesi Province in Indonesia. The result are reliable and acceptable for the graduate students. The Labor Market Information system (LMIS) can help the industries to find a labor/graduates that matched with the company requirement at a real time. SMK may have a benefit by extracting the Information from the application, they can prepare their students for the specific work in the industries. The next development of the application will designed to be available not only for the SMK graduate students.

The Deep Ore Zone (DOZ) is the underground (UG) mine which is located on the East ErstbergSkarn System (EESS) of Grasberg-Ertzberg Au-Cu district in Tembagapura Papua. The DOZ mine is operated by block cave mine method with average of daily production is 80 ktpd ore. Geological information is the important information required for planning, developing, and monitoring the underground mine. This project was initiated in 2007 using the commercial database management software. The objective of the project is to establish the common and centralized underground geology data as well as improve the information transparency. Geological data recording in every draw points is to collect information of rock types proportion, grade and dilution estimates, water condition, clay contents. Solid data integration would help in 3D block model versus the drawn material reconciliation as well as mine planning processes. The first phase of UG geology database management system was successfully to accelerate the creation of routine geological report and improve data and report quality. The second phase of this project was designed to integrate the geo-science data for UG operation support. The paper will be devoted to the management system of geological data collected from production in order to map the characteristics of rock. This may subsequently be used in order to improve all processes including mine planning, production scheduler, draw order, mud rush potential anticipation and mud rush mitigation.

In this study, we use the CIMulator platform to evaluate the performance of neuromorphic accelerators with novel Hf 0.5 Zr 0.5 O 2 (HZO) ferroelectric fin field-effect transistor (FefinFET) as synaptic device. The MNIST handwritten digit dataset is used for training and inference processes in multilayer perceptron (MLP) neural networks. With the highly optimized synaptic device, the results demonstrate high training and inference accuracy, achieving up to 97% for the MLP, approaching the accuracy of software implementations.

This document presents a didactic proposal for the teaching of electrical circuits, implemented by a teacher who participated in the training course and which had the support of the RExLab team. The teaching strategy aimed to support a remote teaching and learning model. In this sense, the didactic contents were made available in digital format in VTLE (MOODLE), of the InTecEdu program, in the format of investigative didactic sequences and online laboratories were used to carry out the experimental activities. The virtual laboratory was chosen using the Falstad circuit simulator, while the choice for the remote laboratory was VISIR (Virtual Instrument Systems in Reality). The application took place in 2020 to 71 high school students from two public schools in the municipality of Criciúma in Santa Catarina, Brasil. At the end of the application, questionnaires were applied with the objective of identifying the profile of the students and their satisfaction in using the available technological resources and the didactic sequence used.

He is a member and Committee Chair for the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) based in Geneva Switzerland a member of ANSI and the Association for Computing Machinery. In a recent issue of Ieee engineering Management Review, we explored the problem of building a winning business case and the elements that can differentiate an 'average' business case from a 'winning' one. For this second installment, we will show how these winning elements were applied in practice. To make it even more interesting, we will illustrate how this can be accomplished with arguably one of the most difficult cases to make: adoption of technical standards. INTEGRATED SHIP MACHINERY SYSTEMS WHICH RESULT IN SMALL, EFFICIENT DESTROYERS

Annapolis Md. After a World War II combat tour as a 15th AAF Fighter Pilot he received his B.S. degree in General Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was elected to Sigma Xi. He subsequently studied Gas Turbines and Aeronautical Engineering at ETH in Zürich and received his Doctorate in Applied Thermodynamics at the Technische Hochschule Aachen Germany. Later he did basic combustion research at the Bureau of Standards and was Head of Advanced Submarine Reactor Core Design at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory (General Electric Co.) during the 1950s. He then joined Combustion Engineering as Chief Project Physicist in the Design of central-station heavy-water and gas-cooled reactors. Subsequently he became Manager of Nuclear Research at Martin Marietta. In 1970 he joined DTNSRDC to establish the Superconductivity Program. and in 1974 assumed his present position. Dr. Levedahl has been a member of ASNE since 1978.

The use of properly seiected integrated ship machinery systems can sharply reduce the size, installed power, and fuel consumption of future Destroyers without reducing payload, speed, range, margins, or stability. One properly chosen subsystem opens the way to using a second superior subsystem, thus a third one, et cetera, forming a sort of beneficient chain reaction. The superior subsystems themselves provide highly leveraged effects on the displacement of the ship. Synergism of this entire chain can result in ship with markedly reduced initial and operating costs. The most essential elements of this system are: aircraft derivative gas turbines; compact, lightweight electric transmissions; large battery energy storage systems; and contrarotating propellers. Adoption of these systems permit secondary high-leverage subsystems to be used, including efficient ship service power from propulsion turbines and light-weight maintainable propulsion pods. These changes make total ship rearrangement possible, resulting in major decreases in turbine ducting, propulsion shafting, electric power distribution, and propulsion auxiliaries. Similar benefits in the auxiliary machinery system result from adoption of reverse-osmosis fresh water production, heat pumps for space heating, glass-reinforced plastic piping, controllable-speed, high-efficiency pump motors, et cetera.

Indonesian river's potentials on Mini or Microhydro fuelled power plants has not been maximally explored despite its big potentials of utilization. The 500 MW energy potentials of Mini or Microhydro throughout Indonesia have only reached the point of 4.5% while National Energy Management Blueprint in 2050 targeted 31% of renewable energy (RE) is coming from Micro hydro energy. The applications of 80 mm diameter cross flow turbine in a household scale have drawn an increase in its experience with 450 Watts of power produced through small discharge of 20 liters/second and 3-meter head. Cross flow turbines testing in 130 mm length and 80 mm diameter conducted using Mini / micro hydropower Plant in environmentally friendly power House drum. Lower investment and operational design cost also to be made on its aim to reach community group or individual segments.

Many countries have native crops with excellent protein quality that are not widely consumed because they have been displaced by introduced crops such as rice. This work proposes the design of food matrices combining the structural and physical qualities of rice with high cañihua protein quality, a South America highlands ancestral crop. Different extruded cañihua-rice mixtures were physically and microstructurally characterized and compared with those of brown and extruded-rice. Cañihua-rice grains were treated by warm-extrusion process to give formulations of 10%−90% and 20%−80% of cañihua flour and rice flour, respectively. Physicochemical analyses showed that protein contents resulting from addition of cañihua-rice grains were 8.8% and 10%, respectively, compared to 7% of rice flour. Hardness of cooked cañihua-rice grains was similar to extruded-rice and slightly lower than cooked brown rice, while color of these grains was between those of extruded and brown rice. Microstructural analyses (FESEM and micro-CT) showed that extruded cañihua-rice mixtures had heterogeneous particles of cañihua flour embedded in rice flour structure. Sensorial analysis showed that cooked cañihua-rice from Cupi10 were similar to brown rice cooked. Finally, extruded cañihua-rice mixtures constituted a novel food matrix that could be used to increase the nutritional levels for consumers of rice. © 2023 Elsevier B.V.

Public expectations of Central Java, which is very high on demand fulfillment, especially road infrastructure as outlined in the number of complaints and community expectations tweeter, Short Mail Massage (SMS), e-mail and public reports from various media, Highways Department of Central Java province requires development model of environmental management in the implementation of a routine way by involving the community in order to fulfill the conditions of a representative, may serve road users safely and comfortably. This study used survey method with SEM analysis and SWOT with Latent Independent Variable (X), namely; Public Participation in the regulation, development, construction and supervision of road (PSM); Public behavior in the utilization of the road (PMJ) Provincial Road Service (PJP); Safety in the Provincial Road (KJP); Integrated Management System (SMT) and latent dependent variable (Y) routine maintenance of the provincial road that is integrated with the environmental management system and involve the participation of the community (MML). The result showed the implementation of routine maintenance of road conditions in Central Java province has yet to implement an environmental management by involving the community; Therefore developed environmental management model with the results of H1: Community Participation (PSM) has positive influence on the Model of Environmental Management (MML); H2: Behavior Society in Jalan Utilization (PMJ) positive effect on Model Environmental Management (MML); H3: Provincial Road Service (PJP) positive effect on Model Environmental Management (MML); H4: Safety in the Provincial Road (KJP) positive effect on Model Environmental Management (MML); H5: Integrated Management System (SMT) has positive influence on the Model of Environmental Management (MML). The waste generation of the plastic packaging industry for the cosmetic product is consisting of the hazardous and non-hazardous waste. The non-hazardous waste of cosmetic product includes product reject, plastic bags, cardboard, and paper. The content of hazardous waste of the cosmetic product is the part such as chemical packaging drum, paint sludge, and wastewater treatment sludge. On the other hand, there is a chance of the waste management that can be started from the segregation of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste, recycling of non-hazardous waste and utilization of waste into products by third parties. That is because the dangerous waste that is carried out according to the waste regulation can be used as a useful product to provide economic and environmental benefits. The research examines various opportunities to use waste as raw material and also to be processed into products. The study steps consist of identification, assessment, techno-economic analysis, and implementation approaches. The study results show that the hazardous solid waste can be used as fuel, filling materials for paving blocks, and ceramic raw materials. The utilization as raw material for paving blocks shows the most significant opportunity for economic and has environmental benefits.
