作者: LEVEDAHL, WJ THE AUTHOR:is the Assistant for Technology in the Propulsion and Auxiliary Systems Department of the David W. Taylor Naval Ship Research and Development Center (DTNSRDC). Annapolis Md. After a World War II combat tour as a 15th AAF Fighter Pilot he received his B.S. degree in General Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was elected to Sigma Xi. He subsequently studied Gas Turbines and Aeronautical Engineering at ETH in Zürich and received his Doctorate in Applied Thermodynamics at the Technische Hochschule Aachen Germany. Later he did basic combustion research at the Bureau of Standards and was Head of Advanced Submarine Reactor Core Design at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory (General Electric Co.) during the 1950s. He then joined Combustion Engineering as Chief Project Physicist in the Design of central-station heavy-water and gas-cooled reactors. Subsequently he became Manager of Nuclear Research at Martin Marietta. In 1970 he joined DTNSRDC to establish the Superconductivity Program. and in 1974 assumed his present position. Dr. Levedahl has been a member of ASNE since 1978.

He is a member of the Applied Physics Society. Graduated from the University of Tokyo Dept. of Applied Physics in 1983 and joined Oki Electric in 1985. Since then he has been engaged in research on the semiconductor process and device simulation. In 1990 he participated in joint research at the Technical University of Aachen. He is a member of the Applied Physics Society. Graduated from the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology Dept. of Electrical Engineering in 1980 and completed an MS course in 1983. In 1986 he completed the doctoral course at Shizuoka University. He then joined Oki Electric where he has been engaged in research on ULSI processes. He is now a manager responsible for flash memory at the VLSI R&D Center. He holds a doctorate in engineering. He is a member of the Applied Physics Society. Graduated from the University of Tokyo Dept. of Applied Physics in 1973 and joined Oki Electric. He was engaged in the development of integrated circuit logic simulation technology and bipolar process technology and since 1980 he has been engaged in research on process/device simulation and modeling. Presently he is a senior manager at the VLSI R&D Center. In 1982–1984 he was a Visiting Scholar at MIT. He holds a doctorate in engineering. He is a member of the Applied Physics Society and a senior member of IEEE. Graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology Dept. of Chemical Engineering in 1978 and completed the MS program in 1930. In that year he joined Oki Electric. Since then he has been engaged in CMOS process design for DRAM and flash memory. He is now a manager at the VLSI R&D Center. 作者: DIMASCIO, AJ MIXON, CO Dr. A.J. Di Mascio:is currently a senior program manager for VSE Corporation of Alexandria Va. Prior to joining VSE he was a career civil servant in the Department of the Navy (retired in May 1986). His last two assignments were director Office of Naval Acquisition Support and deputy commander of the Naval Air Systems Command. He has a doctorate degree from George Washington University and B.S. and M.S. degrees from Drexel Institute of Technology. Capt. Cameron O. Mixon USN (Ret.):was graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1950 and was subsequently commissioned and entered active naval service. During World War II he entered the Navy as an apprentice seaman and was discharged after the war ended as a chief petty officer (motor machinist diesel). As a commissioned officer he served aboard the USS Walker (DD-517) as engineer officer. In 1955 he was designated an engineering duty officer after which he served on the COMMINELANT Staff then as repair officer aboard the USS Yellowstone (AD-27). He had tours of duty at SRF Yokosuka Charleston and Long Beach Naval Shipyards and in the Vietnamese Naval Shipyard in Saigon as the senior naval advisor. His last tour prior to retirement was as senior machinery inspector on the INSURVBoard Washington D.C. He is currently employed by VSE Corporation where he has been active in the areas of breakout and reverse engineering.
