Probabilistic predicting of the risks of system integrity violation for a given period is important for any networking system. Risks are depending on the expected uncertainties conditions concerning threats to each *** reality, from the mathematical modeling point of view, the decomposition of a networking system into functional subsystems (elements) does not cause difficulties. At the same time, when predicting risks, the absence of complete data on subsystems reservation multiplicity (for information processing, storage and recovering processes) may be, but there is confidence that some kind of two-, three-fold or more multiple reservations takes place. For the dozens of interconnected servers, used for subsystems, it is almost *** proposed risk predicting method allows conducting scientific research at the analysis level of the probability distribution function (PDF) of time between critical violations in each subsystem (element) and the system as a whole. Based on the results of risk predicting, it is possible to identify "bottlenecks"in system, rational ways to minimize risks. © 2024 IEEE.

Autonomous navigation of a mobile robot is a challenging task which requires ability of mapping, localization, path planning and path following. Conventional mapping methods build a dense metric map like an occupancy grid, which is affected by odometry error accumulation and consumes a lot of memory and computations in large environments. Another approach to mapping is the usage of topological properties, e.g. adjacency of locations in the environment. Topological maps are less prone to odometry error accumulation and high resources consumption, and also enable fast path planning because of the graph sparsity. Based on this idea, we proposed NavTopo – a full navigation pipeline based on topological map and two-level path planning. The pipeline localizes in the graph by matching neural network descriptors and 2D projections of the input point clouds, which significantly reduces memory consumption compared to metric and topological point cloud-based approaches. We test our approach in three large indoor photo-relaistic simulated environments and compare it to a metric map-based approach based on popular metric mapping method RTAB-MAP. The experimental results show that our topological approach significantly outperforms the metric one in terms of performance with 8 times less memory usage and two orders less path planning time, keeping proper navigational efficiency. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Tasks of resource allocation are carried out by the data center in areas of interest. An algorithm for finding the maximum guaranteed center gain is presented when distributing resources between subsystems is given below. © 2024 IEEE.

Abstract: A family of schemes for the Euler and Navier–Stokes equations is considered based on multioperator approximations of derivatives with the inversion of two-point operators and that permit very high orders. The general idea of the MPI-parallelization of the type of algorithms considered and the evaluation of parallel efficiency are described. The results of direct numerical simulations of the occurrence and development of two types of instability are presented: the instability of a Gaussian-type vortex in a subsonic flow and the Tollmien–Schlichting instability in a subsonic boundary layer. A common feature of these calculations is the absence of any artificial excitations. The “exciters” of instability were small differences between numerical solutions and exact ones, whose broadband spectra may indicate some analogy with the natural turbulent background in real flows. © 2023, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

This paper explores the possibility of obtaining a symbolic description of a parametric family of synthesizing controls for nonlinear systems without control constraints using the Padé approximation method and the SDRE-based approach for control synthesis. On an example of a discrete optimal control problem with a positive parameter in the system dynamic equations an algorithm for constructing the first terms of a minimizing sequence of controls is proposed, where each term of the obtained control sequence is represented in the state feedback form. This construction is based on a set of neurons by which we understand various asymptotic approximations, Padé approximations (PA), and functions derived from them. Depending on a particular dynamic system a certain number of neurons will be used to get good quality approximation for the control. Asymptotic approximations and the PAs constructed on their basis capture the qualitative structure of the exact solution. Moreover, PAs can be improved through additional optimization procedures and modifications. The process of neurons selection, or activation, can be interpreted as a reinforcement learning algorithm in a certain neural network. © 2025 IEEE.

Abstract: The article discusses a range of fundamental scientific and applied issues relevant to problems of the Russia’s modernization being solved by the state, revealing the meaning, prerequisites, and consequences of state actions on the transforming socioeconomic space, as well as the composition, content, and effectiveness of the tools used for this. The results of research projects carried out in 2009–2019 were used. The goals were to theoretically generalize and systematically evaluate the experience of state regulation of spatial development and to substantiate priority areas for improving the tools of state influence on transformation of the socioeconomic space, taking into account new conditions and tasks. The research has made it possible to enrich the theoretical knowledge about the opportunities, risks, effectiveness, and efficiency of state action on key parameters of the spatial configuration of Russia’s economy and social sphere. In practical terms, the possibilities of scientifically substantiating government decisions on changing the spatial proportions of socioeconomic development have been expanded. © 2023, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

Of What, Where, and How People Die in Russia

Abstract—: The article considers death as a social phenomenon. Statistical mortality indicators are given only to characterize its all-russian, regional, and ethnic scales. The focus is on the social aspects of causes of death with their conditional division into diseases of the flesh, spirit, and society. Among the latter, special attention is paid to the consequences of the instability and inconsistency of the all-russian situation and crisis of family relations. Incidences of stable spatial heterogeneity of the spread of mortality are presented. It is shown that these trends are associated not only with living conditions in certain territories, but also with the ethnic factor, an example of which is the outstripping dying off of the russian population. The role of domestic geographers in the study of the relationship of mortality with the characteristics of socioeconomic and other parameters of specific territories (the doctrine of geodemography) is noted. The causes and forms of the changed attitude to death are highlighted. The issues under consideration are closely related to the specific russian problems of aging and old age, which will be explained in a subsequent publication. © 2023, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
