in the twenty-first century, seems many students are reluctant to participate in classroom matters day by day. Some days ago, a course teacher is providing a lecture, on the most important topics that will be implemented in every step in life that class majority students were nonexistent. We got motivation why it's happened and find out a lot of reasons behind uninterested in class after interrogation. Who are belonging age range 20-25, most of the time they face an obstacle and suffer and other teenagers. The fundamental purpose of this research to take action based on behind reasons, so that students can move in classroom learning matters. In this article, solve will be described and how to motivate students. Then it will be much helpful and far informative for teacher, students, guardians and also education specialist [8]. In this research shown causes, and also recommended how to overcome and solve those reluctant and spread knowledge and enlighten the nation. The aim of the research to help and inform provide to students avoid his/her predicted absent in classroom using Machine learning, particularly we used Liner Algorithm. Then, students will participate in classroom lectures as well as social activity and world would be more peaceful. This research achieved more than the accuracy of 95.9%. © 2021 IEEE.

This paper presents a method of realizing the current-mode counterparts of the classical Single Amplifier Biquad (SAB's) filters, especially those based on negative feedback. The resulting circuits have been simulated, and exhibit a performance which is superior in some aspects to that of the original voltage-mode circuits. © 1992 IEEE.

In the era of Human-computer Interaction (HCI), understanding emotional responses through multimodal signals during interactive experiences, such as serious games (SG), is of high importance. In this work, we explore emotion recognition (ER) by analyzing multimodal data from the 2nd Study in Bio-Reactions and Faces for Emotion-based Personalization for AI Systems (BIRAFFE-2) dataset, including data from 76 participants engaged in dynamic gameplay and pre-post audiovisual stimulations. Utilizing features derived from electrocardiogram (ECG), electrodermal activity (EDA), accelerometer, gyroscope, game logs (GL), affect dynamics and personality traits (PT) fed in different machine learning models, our study focuses on ER, achieving state-of-the-art performance across different experimental scenarios (accuracy: 0.967 for Negative Affect in Optimal Game using Support Vector Machines). This highlights the importance of emotional states as indicators for personalized HCI. Our approach offers valuable insights to understanding the interplay between multimodal physiological signals, GL, user's emotional states and PT, which could add to the design of adaptive, affect-sensitive SG. Distinct patterns in the data are revealed, particularly emphasizing the role of ECG-Derived Respiration features and the impact of past affectivity to current emotional *** relevance - By introducing innovative perspectives in affect-sensitive SG design, leveraging the analysis of multimodal signals, we foresee objective digital biomarkers that hold promise to broaden the clinical understanding of patients' emotional behavior during SG-based interventions. © 2024 IEEE.

Graph convolutional networks (GCNs) have achieved remarkable performance in a variety of network science learning tasks. However, theoretical analysis of such approaches is still at its infancy. Graph scattering transforms (GSTs) are non-trainable deep GCN models that are amenable to generalization and stability analyses. The present work addresses some limitations of GSTs by introducing a novel so-termed pruned (p)GST approach. The resultant pruning algorithm is guided by a graph-spectrum-inspired criterion, and retains informative scattering features on-the-fly while bypassing the exponential complexity associated with GSTs. It is further established that pGSTs are stable to perturbations of the input graph signals with bounded energy. Experiments showcase that i) pGST performs comparably to the baseline GST that uses all scattering features, while achieving significant computational savings;ii) pGST achieves comparable performance to state-of-the-art GCNs;and iii) Graph data from various domains lead to different scattering patterns, suggesting domain-adaptive pGST network architectures. © 2020 8th International Conference on Learning Representations, ICLR 2020. In this paper we give an overview of recent results on the rate maximization game in the Gaussian frequency-selective interference channel. We focus on the competitive maximization of information rates, subject to global power and spectral mask constraints. To achieve the so-called Nash equilibrium points of the game Yu, Ginis and Cioffl proposed the sequential Iterative Waterfilling Algorithm (IWFA), where, at each iteration, the users choose, one after the other, their power allocation to maximize their own information rate, treating the interference generated by the others as additive colored Gaussian noise. To overcome the potential slow convergence of the sequential update, specially when the number of users is large, the simultaneous IWFA was proposed by the authors, where, at each iteration, all the users update their power allocations simultaneously, rather than sequentially. Recently, the authors showed that both the sequential and the simultaneous IWFAs are just special cases of a more general unified framework, given by the totally asynchronous IWFA. In this more general algorithm, the users update their power spectral density in a completely distributed and asynchronous way. Furthermore, the asynchronous setup includes another form of lack of synchronism where the transmission by the different users contains time and frequency synchronization offsets. A unified set of convergence conditions were provided for the whole class of algorithms obtained from the asynchronous IWFA. Interestingly, there is a key result used in the proof of convergence of the algorithms: an alternative interpretation of the waterfilling operator as a projector.

In this paper we utilize Bayesian modeling and inference to learn a softmax classification model which performs Supervised Classification and Active Learning. For p p-priors are used to impose sparsity on the adaptive parameters. Using variational inference, all model parameters are estimated and the posterior probabilities of the classes given the samples are calculated. A relationship between the prior model used and the independent Gaussian prior model is provided. The posterior probabilities are used to classify new samples and to define two Active Learning methods to improve classifier performance: Minimum Probability and Maximum Entropy. In the experimental section the proposed Bayesian framework is applied to Image Segmentation problems on both synthetic and real datasets, showing higher accuracy than state-of-the-art approaches. © 2014 EURASIP.

Musical note onset detection is a building component for several MIR related tasks. The ambiguity in the definition of a note onset and the lack of a standard way to annotate onsets, introduce differences in datasets labeling, which in turn makes evaluations of note onset detection algorithms difficult to compare. This paper gives an overview of the parameters influencing the commonly used onset detection evaluation measure, i.e. the F1-score, pointing out a consistently missing parameter which is the overall time shift in annotations. This paper shows how crucial this parameter is in making reported F1-scores comparable among different algorithms and datasets, achieving a more reliable evaluation. As several MIR applications are concerned with the relative location of onsets to each other and not their absolute location, this paper suggests to include the overall time shift as a parameter when evaluating the algorithm performance. Experiments show a strong variability in the reported F1-score and up to 50% increase in the best-case F1-score when varying the overall time shift. Optimizing the time shift turns out to be crucial when training or testing algorithms with datasets that are annotated differently (e.g. manually, automatically, and with different annotators) and especially when using deep learning algorithms.

This paper considers the competitive maximization of information rates in the Gaussian frequency-selective interference channel, subject to global power and spectral mask constraints. We focus on the practical case in which the transmission by the different users contains time and frequency synchronization offsets. We propose a unified framework based on a distributed algorithm called asynchronous iterative waterfilling algorithm. In this algorithm, the users update their power spectral density in a completely distributed and asynchronous way: some users may update their power allocation more frequently than others and they may even use outdated measurements of the received interference. Moreover the users are not required to know time and frequency offsets. Our main contribution is to provide a unified set of convergence conditions for the whole class of algorithms obtained from the asynchronous iterative water-filling algorithm. © 2007 IEEE.

MSNER: A Multilingual Speech Dataset for Named Entity Recognition

While extensively explored in text-based tasks, Named Entity Recognition (NER) remains largely neglected in spoken language understanding. Existing resources are limited to a single, English-only dataset. This paper addresses this gap by introducing MSNER, a freely available, multilingual speech corpus annotated with named entities. It provides annotations to the VoxPopuli dataset in four languages (Dutch, French, German, and Spanish). We have also releasing an efficient annotation tool that leverages automatic pre-annotations for faster manual refinement. This results in 590 and 15 hours of silver-annotated speech for training and validation, alongside a 17-hour, manually-annotated evaluation set. We further provide an analysis comparing silver and gold annotations. Finally, we present baseline NER models to stimulate further research on this newly available dataset. © 2024, CC BY.

The optimal trajectory-tracking control of a Tri-TiltRotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle is the subject of this paper. This specific UAV design possesses the capability to control the orientation of its main rotors, thus enabling operation in both the Vertical Take-Off and Landing as well as the Fixed-Wing flight mode configuration. The translational controller developed is based on a Linear-Quadratic tracking scheme. Additionally to the proposed controller, the newly introduced capability for rotor-tilting, and thus thrust vectoring, as provided by this design is proposed for its utilization in the control of the longitudinal degree-of-freedom of the UAV. Simulation and experimental results are presented, demonstrating both the overall proposed controller's efficiency, as well as the clear advantage gained by the aforementioned proposed strategy, with regard to the controlled system's longitudinal control performance.
