controlled Formation of GaN Nanostructures through Contactless Photoelectrochemical Etching for Supercapacitor Electrode Applications

Nanostructured n-type GaN layers were fabricated using the Contactless photoelectrochemical (PEC) etching method in KOH-based solutions under ultraviolet illumination. By adjusting the KOH concentration, distinct surface morphologies were obtained. Low-concentration KOH solutions led to the formation of nanorods at dislocation sites, whereas high-concentration solutions induced interconnected etch pits. Cathodoluminescence (CL) analysis confirmed a strong correlation between the resulting nanostructures and dislocation sites. The formation mechanisms of different nanostructures were discussed. were elucidated. Electrochemical characterization revealed significantly enhanced performance in etched GaN samples. In particular, the GaN layer treated with 0.02 M KOH and 0.02 M K 2 S 2 O 8 exhibited a 16-fold increase in specific capacitance compared to the pristine GaN layer.

Simulation Study on the controllable Dielectrophoresis Parameters of Graphene

The method of using dielectrophoresis （DEP） to assemble graphene between micro-electrodes has been proven to be simple and efficient. We present an optimization method for the kinetic formula of graphene DEP, and discuss the simulation of the graphene assembly process based on the finite element method. The simulated results illustrate that the accelerated motion of graphene is in agreement with the distribution of the electric field squared gradient. We also conduct research on the controllable parameters of the DEP assembly such as the alternating current （AC） frequency, the shape of micro-electrodes, and the ratio of the gap between electrodes to the characteristic/geometric length of graphene （λ）. The simulations based on the Clausius-Mossotti factor reveal that both graphene velocity and direction are influenced by the AC frequency. When graphene is close to the electrodes, the shape of micro-electrodes will exert great influence on the velocity of graphene. Also, λ has a great influence on the velocity of graphene. Generally, the velocity of graphene would be greater when λ is in the range of 0.4 0.6. The study is of a theoretical guiding significance in improving the precision and efficiency of the graphene DEP assembly.

Widely tunable chaotic fiber laser for WDM-PON detection

A widely tunable high precision chaotic fiber laser is proposed and experimentally demonstrated.A tunable fiber Bragg grating(TFBG) filter is used as a tuning element to determine the turning range from 1533 nm to 1558 nm with a linewidth of 0.5 nm at any *** wide tuning range is capable of supporting 32 wavelength-division multiplexing(WDM) channels with 100 GHz channel *** single wavelengths are found to be chaotic with 10 GHz *** full width at half maximum(FWHM) of the chaotic correlation curve of the different wavelengths is on a picosecond time scale,thereby offering millimeter spatial resolution in WDM detection.

An Efficiency Enhanced Graphene/n-Si Schottky Junction for Solar Cells

A novel and facile oxidation-induced self-doping process of graphene-silicon Schottky junction by nitric acid（HNO3） vapor is reported. The HNO3 oxidation process makes graphene p-type self-doped, and leads to a higher built-in potential and conductivity to enhance charge transfer and to suppress charge carrier recombination at the graphene-silicon Schottky junction. After the HNO3 oxidation process, the open-circuit voltage is increased from the initial value of 0.36 V to the maximum value of 0.47 V, the short-circuit current is greatly increased from 0.80μA to 7.71μA, and the ideality factor is optimized from 4.4 to 1.0. The enhancement of the performance of graphene-Si solar cells may be due to oxidation-induced p-type self-doping of graphene-Si junctions.

The major method of water quality monitoring was sampling in the scene at present in China. In response to the problems such as weak sampling capability of water quality, untimely data processing and so on, based on GPRS technology, the design scheme of an automatic water quality monitoring system is proposed. The system utilizes the water quality monitor to process the sample and send the relevant data to the monitoring center through the GPRS data transmission. Ultimately, the system realized the function of remote collection, transmission and procession of the water quality parameters. ©2010 IEEE.

Charge transporting materials for perovskite solar cells

Perovskite solar cells(PSCs) have made great progress since 2009 and become the focus of current research. As an important part of PSCs, charge transporting materials play an important role in the performance of the devices. In this review, we introduce the evolution of electron and hole transporting materials in PSCs in recent years and summarize some typical charge transporting materials and their applications in PSCs. For electron transporting materials, metal oxides(TiO_(2), SnO_(2) and ZnO) and organic materials(fullerenes, non-fullerenes and their derivatives)are the most widely used materials in PSCs. For hole transporting materials, small molecule spiro-OMeTAD(2,2’,7,7’-Tetrakis[N,N-di(4-methoxyphenyl)amino]-9,9’-spirobifluorene), polymer PEDOT:PSS(poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): polystyrene sulfonate), PTAA(poly-[bi(4-phenyl)](2,4,3-trimethylphenyla-mine)), P3 HT(poly(3-hexythiophene)) and inorganic materials(NiOx, CuSCN, CuO) are adopted in PSCs. Finally, different types of charge transporting materials are summarized and their future development is prospected.

Color-tunable Ca10Na(PO4)7：Ce^3＋/Tb^3＋/Mn^2＋ phosphor via energy transfer

A series of Ca10Na(PO4)7:Ce3+/Tb3+/Mn2+(CNPO:Ce3+/Tb3+/Mn2+) phosphors with high brightness were synthesized by high-temperature solid-state method. X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), diffuse reflectance spectra(DRS), photo luminescence(PL) spectra, luminescence decay curves and thermally stability were performed to characterize the as-prepared samples. For Ce3+-doped samples, an intense and broad band emission is present under 265 nm excitation. When Ce3+and Tb3+are codoped, energy transfer(ET) process from Ce3+ to Tb3+ is demonstrated with electric dipole-dipole interaction. The internal and external quantum efficiencies(QEs) of CNPO:0.15 Ce3+, 0.04 Tb3+, 0.005 Mn2+are measured to 76.79% and 54.11% under 265 nm excitation and temperature-dependent PL intensity can remain 51.78% at 150 ℃ of its initial intensity at 25 ℃. It is indicated that single-phased white lightemitting CNPO:Ce3+/Tb3+/Mn2+phosphor can serve as a promising phosphor for illumination devices.

Flow control for a Two-Stage Proportional Valve with Hydraulic Position Feedback

The current research mainly focuses on the flow control for the two-stage proportional valve with hydraulic position feedback which is named as Valvistor ***,the Valvistor valve is a proportional throttle valve and the flow fluctuates with the change of load *** flow fluctuation severely restricts the application of the Valvistor *** this paper,a novel flow control method the Valvistor valve is provided to suppress the flow fluctuation and develop a high performance proportional flow *** mathematical model of this valve is established and *** proportional-integral-derivative(PID)controller is adopted in the closed-loop flow control *** feedback is obtained by the flow inference with back-propagation neural network(BPNN)based on the spool displacement in the pilot stage and the pressure differential across the main *** results show that inference with BPNN can obtain the flow data fast and *** the flow control method,the flow can keep at the set point when the pressure differential across the main orifice *** flow control method is effective and the Valvistor valve changes from proportional throttle valve to proportional flow *** the developed proportional flow valve,the settling time of the flow is very short when the load pressure changes *** performances of hysteresis,linearity and bandwidth are in a high *** linear mathematical model can be verified and the assumptions in the system modeling is reasonable.

Emotion recognition in conversation (ERC) aims at accurately identifying emotional states expressed in conversational content. Existing ERC methods, although relying on semantic understanding, often encounter challenges when confronted with incomplete or misleading semantic information. In addition, when dealing with the interaction between emotional and semantic information, existing methods are often difficult to effectively distinguish the complex relationship between the two, which affects the accuracy of emotion recognition. To address the problems of semantic misdirection and emotional cross-talk encountered by traditional models when confronted with complex conversational data, we propose a semantic and emotional dual channel (SEDC) strategy for emotion recognition in conversations to process emotional and semantic information independently. Under this strategy, emotion information provides an auxiliary recognition function when the semantics are unclear or lacking, enhancing the accuracy of the model. Our model consists of two modules: the emotion processing module accurately captures the emotional features of each utterance through contrastive learning, and then constructs a dialogue emotion propagation map to simulate the emotional information conveyed in the dialogue;the semantic processing module combines an external knowledge base to enhance the semantic expression of the dialogue through knowledge enhancement strategies. This divide-and-conquer approach allows us to more deeply analyze the emotional and semantic dimensions of complex dialogues. Experimental results on the IEMOCAP, EmoryNLP, MELD, and DailyDialog datasets show that our approach significantly outperforms existing techniques and effectively improves the accuracy of dialogue emotion recognition. Compressive sensing with tent chaotic sequence

Compressive sensing is a new sampling theory to capture signals at sub-Nyquist rate. To guarantee exact recovery from sparse measurements, specific sensing matrix, which satisfies the Restricted Isometry Property, should be well chosen. Random matrix has been proved to meet the property with high probability;however, the practical implementation is expensive in hardware design. Chaotic matrices which generated by Logistic sequence, Chua and Lorenz dynamical systems have been verified to be Toeplitz-structured and sufficient to satisfy the property. In this paper, we propose that another chaotic sequence - Tent map can also be used to construct the sensing matrix. By numerical performance, we show that, the proposed Tent chaotic sensing matrix has similar performance to random matrix or Logistic chaotic matrix for exact reconstructing compressible signals and images from fewer measurements. © 2014 IFSA Publishing, S.
