The pilot contamination is caused by non-orthogonal pilot sequences reuse in uplink, which affects the performance of Massive MIMO systems seriously, so it is necessary to mitigate pilot contamination. In this paper, we propose a pilot contamination precoding scheme to mitigate multi-cell pilot contamination. In the uplink, we propose a cell-defined training scheme, where the same pilot sequence is used in the same cell, and different cells use orthogonal pilot sequences, which eliminates inter-cell interference and introduces intra-cell interference artificially. In the downlink, we adopt Truncated Polynomial Expansion (TPE) precoding to reduce intra-cell interference, since the truncated polynomial of TPE precoding can replace the matrix inversion of Regularized Zero-Forcing (RZF) precoding, which reduces the complexity of RZF precoding and approximates the performance of RZF precoding by suitable truncation orders. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

The conventional Bayesian framework of filtering is based on the assumption that the measurements are available at each time-step without any delay. But in real-life problems, measurements may be randomly delayed in time. In this paper, we modified the unscented Kalman filter (UKF) for arbitrary time delayed measurements. With the help of simulation results, it has been shown that the proposed filter provides more accurate estimation compared to the ordinary UKF in presence of randomly delayed measurements.

A novel compact broadband circularly polarized (CP) antenna is proposed for use in the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). Circular polarization for the presented antenna is achieved by introducing two L-shaped branches in the ground plane and inverted L-shaped microstrip fed. The antenna exhibits a wide impedance bandwidth of 44.9% (1.14-1.8GHz) for reflection coefficient<-10dB and an axial ratio (AR) bandwidth of 36.9% (1.15-1.67GHz) for AR<3dB. The CP bandwidth (reflection coefficient<-10dB and AR<3dB) can cover all GNSS frequency bands. Although simple in structure, the antenna can meet the requirements for handheld wireless terminals.

The dual of the Kasami code of length q2 − 1, with q a power of 2, is constructed by concatenating a cyclic MDS code of length q + 1 over Fq with a Simplex code of length q − 1. This yields a new derivation of the weight distribution of the Kasami code, a new description of its coset graph, and a new proof that the Kasami code is completely regular. The automorphism groups of the Kasami code and the related q-ary MDS code are determined. New cyclic completely regular codes over finite fields a power of 2, generalized Kasami codes, are constructed;they have coset graphs isomorphic to that of the Kasami codes. This paper extends frequency domain quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG) methods pursuing higher sensitivity to detect Brain Developmental Disorders. Prior qEEG work lacked integration of cross-spectral information omitting important functional connectivity descriptors. Lack of geographical diversity precluded accounting for site-specific variance, increasing qEEG nuisance variance. We ameliorate these weaknesses. (i) Create lifespan Riemannian multinational qEEG norms for cross-spectral tensors. These norms result from the HarMNqEEG project fostered by the Global Brain Consortium. We calculate the norms with data from 9 countries, 12 devices, and 14 studies, including 1564 subjects. Instead of raw data, only anonymized metadata and EEG cross spectral tensors were shared. After visual and automatic quality control, developmental equations for the mean and standard deviation of qEEG traditional and Riemannian DPs were calculated using additive mixed-effects models. We demonstrate qEEG "batch effects " and provide methods to calculate harmonized z-scores. (ii) We also show that harmonized Riemannian norms produce z-scores with increased diagnostic accuracy predicting brain dysfunction produced by malnutrition in the first year of life and detecting COVID induced brain dysfunction. (iii) We offer open code and data to calculate different individual z-scores from the HarMNqEEG dataset. These results contribute to developing bias-free, low-cost neuroimaging technologies applicable in various health settings.

In order to improve coverage and load balancing in cellular networks,CRE（Cell Range Expansion）which is introduced in LTE-Advanced has drawn significant ***,the ping-pong effect resulting from cell handover is still a *** this paper,we propose a new dynamic smooth handover method based on transition zones for the celledge users to deal with the ping-pong *** cells’boundaries extend to transition zones within which the users do not switch serving *** the other hand,the range of the transition zones can be adjusted depending on performance *** results show that our proposed method is near optimum throughput and traffic load performance without the ping-pong effect.

Cross-layer Joint Relay Selection and Power Allocation Scheme for Cooperative Relaying System

A novel cross-layer joint relay selection and power allocation (CL-JRSPA) scheme over physical layer and data-link layer is proposed for cooperative relaying system in this paper. Our goal is finding the optimal relay selection and power allocation scheme to maximize system achievable rate when satisfying total transmit power constraint in physical layer and statistical delay quality-of-service (QoS) demand in data-link layer. Using the concept of effective capacity (EC), our goal can be formulated into an optimal joint relay selection and power allocation (JRSPA) problem to maximize the EC when satisfying total transmit power limitation. We first solving optimal power allocation (PA) problem with Lagrange multiplier approach, and then solving optimal relay selection (RS) problem. Simulation results demonstrate that CL-JRSPA scheme gets larger EC than other schemes when satisfying delay QoS demand. In addition, the proposed CL-JRSPA scheme achieves the maximal EC when relay located approximately halfway between source and destination, and EC becomes smaller when the QoS exponent becomes larger.

Growth stage information is a very primary parameter for managing the grain crop. In this study, time series Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI) data in 2015 were obtained in Anhui Province, China based on 8-day composite MOD09A1 data products, and the extraction method of rice phenology was specifically analyzed at a provincial scale. HANTS (Harmonic Analysis of Time Series) filtering algorithm was firstly used to smooth the time series EVI curves and identify every growth and development period of paddy rice. The results indicate that HANTS has a better performance in removing noise, restoring original information and retain the change information of multi-temporal EVI curves. The primary planting regions were located in the southern Huai-River areas, from early June to late June in 2015. It turned into the transplanting stage in succession from south to north and followed by the heading stage in succession in early August. From early September to late October, it turned into mature stage from south to north in succession. © 2017 IEEE.

The definitions of the Lee complete ρ weight enumerator and the exact complete ρ weight enumerator over Mn×s (F2[u, v]{uk, v2, uv-vu}) are introduced, and the MacWilliams identities with respect to the RT metric for these two weight enumerators of linear codes over Mn×s (F2[u, v]{uk, v2, uv-vu}) are obtained.
