In this paper, we propose a novel method to adaptively adjust the parameter threshold used in overlapping frequency. We verify the performance of the proposed algorithm from the system simulation. Compared with the traditional network planning scheme which needs setting parameters manually, the optimal threshold is adaptively adjusted according to the distribution of the users. The simulation results show that the algorithm can improve the signal-to-interference-plus-noise-ratio (SINR) performance of users and the cell throughput when the users are distributed in the edge of cell coverage which owns the same optimization result as traditional optimization method. So the algorithm can effectively solve the decrease problem of spectral efficiency when the threshold in frequency overlap is set unreasonable and also save a lot of lab.ur cost on setting parameters.

Nonlinearity in the dark: Broadband terahertz generation with extremely high efficiency

Plasmonic metamaterials and metasurfaces offer new opportunities in developing high performance terahertz emitters/detectors beyond the limitations of conventional nonlinear materials. However, simple meta-atoms for second-order nonlinear applications encounter fundamental trade-offs in the necessary symmetry-breaking and local-field enhancement due to radiation damping that is inherent to the operating resonant mode and cannot be controlled separately. Here we present a novel concept that eliminates this restriction obstructing the improvement of terahertz generation efficiency in nonlinear metasurfaces based on metallic nano-resonators. This is achieved by combing a resonant dark-state metasurface, which locally drives nonlinear SRRs in the near field, with a specific spatial symmetry that enables destructive interference of the radiating linear moments of the SRRs, and perfect absorption via simultaneous electric and magnetic critical coupling of the pump radiation to the dark mode. Our proposal allows eliminating linear radiation damping, while maintaining constructive interference and effective radiation of the nonlinear components. We numerically demonstrate a giant second-order nonlinear susceptibility ∼ 10−11 m/V, one order improvement compared to previously reported split-ring-resonator metasurface, and correspondingly, two orders of magnitude enhanced terahertz energy extraction should be expected with our configuration under the same conditions. Our study offers a paradigm of high efficiency tunable nonlinear meta-devices and paves the way to revolutionary terahertz technologies and optoelectronic nanocircuitry. Social media systems are very popular in today's dynamic web. One of the famous social media systems is Twitter, in which peoples used to share their personal ideas about current issues with their friends. This work focuses on the problem of discovering a user's interest over time on twitter. Previous approaches have used to model the user topic of interest on twitter by building the profile of the users, that contain the words which can be used the user in his or her conversions with other users, but on twitter users used the noisy words which does not represent the correct topics or topic related to interest. This model has extended by a novel framework by using twitter user model. This model uses the latent topic variable to indicate the relatedness of the topic with any user. In this work, we propose a Temporal User Topic(TUT) approach which can consider the text of tweet by any user and time of the tweet. The proposed approach is used to discover topically related Users for different time periods. We also show how the interests and relationships of these users are changeovers a time period.

This paper is devoted to the construction of one-Lee weight codes and two-Lee weight codes over IF_p+vIF_p(v^2=v) with type p^(2 k_1)p^(k2)p^(k3) based on two different distance-preserving Gray maps from((IF_p+vIF_p)~n, Lee weight) to(IF_p^(2 n), Hamming weight), where p is a prime. Moreover, the authors prove that the obtained two-Lee weight codes are projective only when p=2.

In this paper, a novel wideband dual-band magneto-electric dipole antenna with modified feed structure is proposed. Double-layer patches are utilized to design a pair of folding metal. The double-layer patches dipole can generate two resonant frequencies, which are employed to form a dual-band magneto-electric dipole antenna. A stair-shaped feeding strip with a hexagonal structure is designed to modify the impedance matching. It is found from simulated results that two operation bands with bandwidths of 60% from 1.61 to 2.99 GHz and 31.9% from 4.99 to 6.89 GHz under the return loss level of 10 dB were achieved. The gain of the antenna ranged from 7.56 to 10.56 dBi. Furthermore, low cross-polarization level and low back-radiation are also obtained with the proposed antenna.

The Bernstein Bezoutian with respect to the Bernstein polynomials basis is investigated. A general linear control system under the Bernstein polynomials basis is established from the classical one, and a kind of generalized controllab.lity/observability matrices are constructed. Connections between Bernstein Bezoutian and generalized controllab.lity/observability matrices are discussed. Some results for polynomial stability in terms of the Bernstein Bezoutian are obtained, which generalize the corresponding classical Fujiwara-Hermite and Routh-Hurwitz criteria. © 2017 IEEE.

A broadband dual-polarized magneto-electric dipole antenna for 2G/3G/LTE/WiMAX applications

A novel broadband dual-polarized magneto-electric (ME) dipole antenna is proposed for 2G/3G/LTE/WiMAX applications. The proposed antenna has stair-shaped feeding strips to impart a wide impedance bandwidth to it and a rectangular box-shaped reflector to enhance its stability in radiation patterns and high gain over the operating frequencies. The measured results show that a common impedance bandwidth is 80% with standing-wave ratio (SWR) ≤ 1.5 from 1.68 to 3.92 GHz, and port-to-port isolation larger than 25 dB within the bandwidth. The measured antenna gains vary from 9.2 to 12 dBi and from 9.2 to 11.8 dBi for port 1 and port 2, respectively. The antenna has nearly symmetrical radiation patterns with low back-lobe radiation both in horizontal and vertical planes, and broadside radiation patterns with narrow beam can also be obtained. © 2017, Electromagnetics Academy. Maxwell-Hydrodynamic Model for Simulating Nonlinear Terahertz Generation from Plasmonic Metasurfaces

The interaction between electromagnetic field and plasmonic nanostructures leads to both strong linear and nonlinear behaviors. In this paper, a time-domain hydrodynamic model for describing the motion of electrons in plasmonic nanostructures is presented, in which both surface and bulk nonlinearity are considered. A coupled Maxwell-hydrodynamic system capturing full-wave physics and free-electron dynamics is numerically solved with the parallel finite-difference time-domain method. The validation of the proposed method is presented by simulating a plasmonic metasurface. The linear response is compared with the Drude dispersion model and the nonlinear terahertz emission from a difference-frequency generation process is theoretically analyzed. The work is fundamentally important to design nonlinear plasmonic nanodevices, especially for efficient and broadband THz emitters. © 2016 IEEE.

An Audio-Visual Whisper Database in Chinese

Converting whisper to normal vocalized speech has been a hot research topic in speech signal processing area. A complete and large scale whisper database is a major basis for this task. In this paper, we propose a multimodal whisper database in Chinese mandarin. A total of 103 syllab.es and 100 sentences were carefully selected. 5 male and 5 female participants pronounced the syllab.es and sentences in whisper and normal styles respectively, result in 4096 parallel speech utterances and 263, 849 frames of voicing face and lip image sequences. The beginning and ending sample point of each syllab.e were lab.led both for speech signal and voicing face video. The lip region of interest were also extracted and provided in the proposed database. Experiments in various speech conversion tasks in different speech database show the effectiveness of the proposed multimodal whisper speech database.
