Given the significant percentage of renewable energy sources in the power grid, the problems of frequency stability and voltage stability are becoming more and more prominent. By configuring the synchronous condenser (SC), it has the capability to furnish dynamic reactive power assistance, thereby enhancing its ability to maintain voltage support and reduce the active power impact caused by low voltage ride through (LVRT) of wind turbine (WT). However, the current power grid lacks an effective configuration strategy for the SC. This paper analyzes the impact of the access of the SC on the voltage support capacity based on the active power current impulse (APCI). The results show that the node with the lowest APCI is the optimal configuration position of the SC after the access of the SC. Based on the above conclusions, this paper proposes an optimal configuration scheme for a SC based on APCI. The simulation results show that the method proposed in this paper can effectively suppress the short-term active power impulse caused by large-scale wind power LVRT and avoid the transformation from local voltage problem to global frequency problem. © 2023 IEEE.

Different from traditional grid-following (GFL) converter, grid-forming (GFM) converter can provide inertial support through various control modes, which means that it could improve system stability. However, the existing studies mainly focus on stability of system composed of homogeneous converters. Very few studies have analyzed the interaction between different types of converters. Therefore, this paper mainly analyzes the interaction and stability analysis between GFM converter and GFL converter. Firstly, the stability criterion is derived according to the equivalent impedance circuit model. Secondly, the sequence impedance models of both converters are established and further verified with sweep results. Thirdly, the interaction and stability of the system including GFM and GFL converter are analyzed by Nyquist curve. Finally, the accuracy of the proposed criterion and analysis in theory is validated by electromagnetic transient simulation. © 2023 IEEE.

The damage caused by the earthquake is *** the purpose of post-earthquake rescue is to reduce *** it is necessary to improve the efficiency of rescue as much as *** paper focuses on multi-agent cooperative target search in the post-earthquake rescue and how to exploit the prior information of post-disaster building to improve the searching efficiency.A regional necessity based searching strategy is proposed which utilizes pre-disaster building information and adapts to dynamic ***,the target probability map is estimated according to the distribution information of pre-disaster ***,the regional necessity map is constructed by integrating the target probability map and the perception of the environment during the search ***,the search strategy is proposed based on the regional necessity map and the particle swarm optimization *** the gradient direction of regional necessity and local optimal velocity,the agent dynamically selects the search *** comparing with other search strategies in simulation experiments,the proposed strategy could shorten the searching time and improve the searching efficiency in the small and medium-scale task ***,the search strategy can adapt to the post-earthquake dynamic environment,which is confirmed by dynamic experiments.

The phase-locked loop provides a phase reference for the coordinate transformation in grid-connected inverters to ensure synchronous operation and power output. In the distribution network, under the conditions of three-phase unbalance because of the diversity of loads, untransposed line and the complex operating conditions, the phase-locked loop can produce phase locking errors that affect the inverter power output and thus the regulation of the active distribution network. Therefore, by analyzing the inverter control, the influence of phase error of the phase-locked loop on the Park transformation and modulation signal is deduced, and the relationship between phase error, voltage, current, current reference value, and modulation signal is quantified. The simulation results prove the correctness of the analysis. © 2023 IEEE.

With the advancement of new energy technologies, renewable energy generation is predicted to dominate the power system's black-start recovery process as a black-start power source. This study investigates the operating principle of BSWPS, factors influencing its output, effective output capacity, and its potential to engage in primary and secondary frequency regulation during power system black start. A BSWPS simulation model is developed, the control strategy of BSWPS as a system black start power source is investigated, and the possibility of BSWPS participating in frequency regulation during the black start phase is investigated. In order to allocate power reasonably, the paper suggests a strategy that combines a black start optimization model and a battery storage-based wind power system scheduling system model. The wind power prediction method is used to assess the wind power output, and Gurobi is used to solve the scheduling system model. The black start of the power system is effectively accomplished, according to test results in a system that has been retrofitted with a real grid, and the frequency stability of the system is greatly improved. © 2023 IEEE.

After the fault line is removed, the active power will transfer, which may cause the related lines to overload. If the backup protection acts before the safety automatic device complete its action, it may cause a cascading trip. Large-scale wind farm access will also affect the network active power distribution. This paper proposes a backup protection load-shedding control strategy based on a wide area measurement system (WAMS) considering wind farm output fluctuation to realize the coordination of backup protection and safety automatic devices in a power system with wind farm access. The effective control node pair is selected by using the power reverse equivalent pairing method. In view of the multiple lines being overloaded at the same time, an optimal control node pair screening method based on the weighted osculating value method is proposed. In order to verify the effectiveness of the load-shedding control strategy proposed in this paper considering the output fluctuation of wind farms, an IEEE 10-machine 39-node system is taken as an example. The simulation results are verified by PSASP. © 2023 IEEE.

When arriving at the airport,flight needs to be served by special *** at the dynamic time window scheduling problem of airport refueling vehicles,this paper establishes a vehicle routing problem model with time window to minimize the operating ***,a multi-strategy genetic algorithm is designed to gain the solve time window scheduling problem,which employs the crossover based on particle swarm optimization to accelerate the early search capability,and the local search method based on simulated annealing to increase the local optimization *** aiming at dynamically adjusting vehicle routes on the basis of static scheduling,a local replanning strategy based on a dynamic time window is introduced,which uses the original route matching and rescheduling *** results show that the multi-strategy hybrid algorithm can effectively reduce the number of routes and vehicles the airport *** different scales' dynamic changes of time windows,the algorithm could enable vehicles to still meet time constraints and effectively minimize the change of routes.

The existing directional pilot protection (DPP) is susceptible to the line distributed capacitance and the fault resistance, and mostly rely on the current limiting reactance (CLR) at the line ends. To solve the above problems, the line-mode fault component power (LFCP) based DPP is proposed for flexible DC distribution grid (FDCDG). First, the characters of LFCP are discussed under different faults. The theoretical analysis show that the polarity of the LFCP under internal fault is same, while the polarity of the LFCP is opposite under external fault. Then, the LFCP is built as the directional criterion, and the corresponding protection scheme is constructed. The electromagnetic transient simulations of the PSCAD/EMTDC verify that the proposed DPP is less affected by the noise, and has low requirement on the sampling rate, strong engineering applicability. © 2024 IEEE.

Highly sensitive fluorescence detection technology is crucial for biological sensing, imaging, and photonic technologies. The fluorescence enhancement effect with the same enhancement factor at multi-wavelengths is important for highly sensitive detection. However, achieving multiwavelength fluorescence enhancement remains challenging. Here, we introduce an all-dielectric metasurface composed of symmetry-broken silicon nanocylinders integrated with graphene, which is designed to significantly enhance and dynamically modulate the fluorescence emission of a single quantum dot. By fine-tuning structural parameters and adjusting the graphene Fermi level, we achieve a tunable high-Q Fano resonance, leading to a nearly 4000-fold fluorescence enhancement. Structural parameter adjustments enable consistent fluorescence enhancement across different wavelengths. Furthermore, at specific wavelengths, fluorescence enhancement can be similarly adjusted. The proposed structure can greatly expand the design strategy of heterogeneous all-dielectric metasurfaces with the same enhancement factor at multi-wavelengths. © 2025 Optica Publishing Group. Partial Solution Operator Discretization-Based Methods for Efficiently Computing Least-Damped Eigenvalues of Large Time Delayed Power systems

To investigate impact of time delays on the small signal stability of power systems, the least-damped eigenvalues with the smallest damping ratios have been calculated by eigen-analysis methods based on Solution Operator Discretization (SOD) with Pseudo-Spectral collocation (PS) and Implicit Runge-Kutta (IRK) methods. This paper evolves SOD-PSIIRK into their partial counterparts, i.e., PSOD-PSIIRK, with greatly enhanced efficiency and reliability in analyzing large-scale time delayed power systems. Compared with SOD-PSIIRK, PSOD-PSIIRK are characterized in constructing low order discretization matrices of solution operator as well as efficiently and directly solving the embedded Matrix-Inverse-Vector Products (MIVPs). The dimensions of the discretization matrices of solution operator are largely reduced as only the retarded state variables are discretized, rather than all state variables as in SOD-PSIIRK. Meanwhile, the proposed PSOD-PSIIRK optimize the most computationally expensive operations in SOD-PSIIRK by avoiding the iterative solutions to the two embedded MIVPs. PSOD-PS/IRK directly and efficiently compute the MIVPs via factorizing the Kronecker product-like discretization matrices of the solution operator into Schur complements. The Central China-North China ultra-high-voltage power grid with 80577 state variables serves to validate the proposed PSOD-PSIIRK and shows that compared with SOD-PSIIRK, the computational time consumed by PSOD-PSIIRK is cut down by 49.96 times without loss of any accuracy.
