Cognitive navigation, a high-level and crucial function for organisms' survival in nature, enables autonomous exploration and navigation within the environment. However, most existing works for bio-inspired navigation are implemented with non-neuromorphic computing. This work proposes a bio-inspired memristive spiking neural network (SNN) circuit for goal-oriented navigation, capable of online decision-making through reward-based learning. The circuit comprises three primary modules. The place cell module encodes the agent's spatial position in real-time through Poisson spiking;the action cell module determines the direction of subsequent movement;and the reward-based learning module provides a bio-inspired learning method adaptive to delayed and sparse rewards. To facilitate practical application, the entire SNN is quantized and deployed on a real memristive hardware platform, achieving about a 21 × reduction in energy consumption compared to a typical digital acceleration system in the forward computing phase. This work offers an implementation idea of neuromorphic solution for robotic navigation application in low-power scenarios. © 2007-2012 IEEE.

Time delay has great impacts on the stability and the reliability and real-time of the communication of multi-agent systems. In multi-agent communication network, due to network congestion, transmission distance and other factors, there are various communication delays. In this paper, we study the deviation of convergence value after adding time-varying delays under gradient descent method, and the upper bound related to delay time is estimated. This upper bound can be used to analyze the magnitude of deviation under different time delays and minimize the loss caused by delays, and provide more explicit information for system optimization and resource allocation. Numerical simulation is conducted to verify the proposed approach. © 2023 IEEE.

X-ray security check is a prevalent placement measure that plays a vital role in ensuring public safety. However, detecting prohibited items poses a complex challenge due to their variable sizes within X-ray images. In this study, we tackle this issue by curating a novel dataset through the integration of open-source data and introducing a Multiscale Feature Fusion Module. This module facilitates robust detection by amalgamating features across different scales. Extensive experiments verified that the superiority of our method compared to existing methods on the prohibited items test set constructed in this paper demonstrates extremely well the practical effectiveness of our proposed method. © 2024 IEEE.

This work looks into the quantized impulsive consensus challenges of nonlinear leader-following multi-agent *** graph theory,principle of differential dynamics,logarithmic quantizer,matrix theory,and the Lyapunov function,among other things,are used to investigate the key discoveries on *** appropriate consensus protocols which contain quantized all agents' relative state information and quantized a part of agents' relative state *** the sake of reducing communication consumption and energy,we combine two control strategies and design two control protocols according to the characteristics of quantized control and impulsive *** a series of deductions,we find that under quantized impulsive control,multi-agent systems can achieve consensus as long as certain sufficient conditions are ***,the simulation example demonstrates the validity and correctness of this papers theoretical approach.

With the improvement of hardware performance,semantic segmentation based on convolutional neural network has achieved wide concern for its' advantage of high ***,in practical application scenarios,such as autonomous driving,what we care about is not only the segmentation accuracy,but also the ability of the model to process information in real-time on edge *** this paper,a lightweight and efficient real-time semantic segmentation network was proposed,which is based on a two-way structure,aggregates detailed spatial information and high-level semantic information,integrates long-range dependencies and region-level *** proposed algorithm achieves good *** conducted experiments based on an NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2080 SUPER graphics card and achieved 73.8% accuracy on Cityscapes dataset with a speed of 211 FPS,and 72.8% accuracy on Camvid dataset.

Modern industrial systems are usually in large scale,consisting of massive components and variables that form a complex system *** to the interconnections among devices,a fault may occur and propagate to exert widespread influences and lead to a variety of *** the root causes of alarms is beneficial to the decision supports in making corrective alarm *** data-driven methods for alarm root cause analysis detect causal relations among alarms mainly based on historical alarm event *** improve the accuracy,this paper proposes a causal fusion inference method for industrial alarm root cause analysis based on process topology and alarm events.A Granger causality inference method considering process topology is exploited to find out the causal relations among *** topological nodes are used as the inputs of the model,and the alarm causal adjacency matrix between alarm variables is obtained by calculating the likelihood of the topological Hawkes *** root cause is then obtained from the directed acyclic graph(DAG)among alarm *** effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulations based on both a numerical example and the Tennessee Eastman process(TEP)model.

Raman distributed optical fiber sensing has been demonstrated to be a mature and versatile scheme that presents great flexibility and effectivity for the distributed temperature measurement of a wide range of engineering applications over other established *** past decades have witnessed its rapid development and extensive applicability ranging from scientific researches to industrial ***,there are four theoretical or technical bottlenecks in traditional Raman distributed optical fiber sensing:(ⅰ)The difference in the Raman optical attenuation,a low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)of the system and the fixed error of the Raman demodulation equation restrict the temperature measurement accuracy of the system.{ⅱ)The sensing distance and spatial resolution cannot be reconciled.(ⅲ)There is a contradiction between the SNR and measurement time of the system.(ⅳ)Raman distributed optical fiber sensing cannot perform dual-parameter *** on the above theoretical and technical bottlenecks,advances in performance enhancements and typical applications of Raman distributed optical fiber sensing are reviewed in this *** of this optical system technology with knowledge based,that is,demodulation technology *** further the performance and accuracy of these systems.
