Teachers can develop learning tools to deliver materials according to the characteristics of the material, because not all material can be delivered in the same way or method. In certain situations there are times when learning cannot be done directly in the classroom. So, the teacher must adjust online teaching or distance learning (DL). Efforts to support DL go well, then teachers must prepare supporting learning tools. The learning can be practical so that the learner is more interesting and fun. Problem solving laboratory (PSL) is a learning approach that uses problems as the basis for teaching and learning activities that must be solved through practical activities in the laboratory. The research method used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research aims at learning tools that support practicum-based DL by applying the PSL learning models so that students can find material concepts independently. Validation results by material experts were 89%, learning experts were 87%, and media experts were 82%. So based on the results of expert validation and testing on students, the learning tools developed were feasible to use. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Enrichment was specific activity given to the students who reached the minimal proficiency criteria. One of the methods that we're able to attract student's motivation to learn something is by combining learning and playing (edutainment). Application of media that applied edutainment to the enrichment processed can increase student's motivation to develop their knowledge. This research was designed to know the media development process, feasibility, practicality, and the student's response to interactive ludo game which developed as enrichment media. The method used is Research and Development (R & D) with ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects were matter expert, media specialist, and 20 students of XI grade Indonesia Maju Senior High School have obtained on earth and space sciences learning material. The data collection instruments in this research are using study papers of specialist material and media, a paper of practicality test, and student questionnaire responses. The result of the research showed validation specialist material given a score of 82,7%, a media expert validation of 80,2%, a practicality validation of 83,4%, and student's response amounted to 85,6%. Overall obtained a score of 82,9% so it can be categorized as very worthy and excellent. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This study examined the effect of Zn2+ ion substitution on ZnxMn(1-x) Fe2O4 nanoparticles (x = 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) towards signal Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR). The co-precipitation method synthesised the nanoparticles at a temperature of 90°C. The X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) results showed a polycrystalline structure with a crystallite size varied from 19.05 nm to 19.77 nm. In addition, as the Zn element increased in the ZnxMn(1-x)Fe2O4 nanoparticles, the degree of crystallinity increased by 21.72%, respectively. The optical properties of the nanoparticles ZnxMn(1-x) Fe2O4 indicate absorbance at wavelengths of 330.36–331.74 nm. The absorbance level increased as the Zn element decreased, resulting a direct optical gap of 3.47 eV and an indirect optical gap of 3.23 eV. The Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) curve in the SPR biosensor indicated a shift in the reflective angle of the Prism/Au/Air configuration, which is 47.78° on Prisma/Au/nanoparticle of Zn0.8Mn0.2Fe2O4/air by 50.75°, and the prism/Au/nanoparticle of Zn0.2Mn0.8Fe2 O4/air by 51.04°. The substitution of Zn ions in the compound Zn x Mn(1-x)Fe2O4 affects the resulting ATR curve. The shift in the SPR angle is caused by changes in the refractive index in each layer which is influenced by the concentration of each material which has an impact on the absorbance ability and photon reflectance. This research has the potential to continue with the testing of dielectric and magnetic properties, as well as special testing for biological analytes compatible with ZnxMn(1-x)Fe2O4 nanoparticles. © 2023 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

Edmodo can help teachers build virtual classes according to classroom learning conditions based on real class divisions at school, which contain discussions, quizzes, and assignments at the end of each lesson. By applying the model to Modified Free Inquiry (MFI) Edmodo online learning media, interactions, and communication in the classroom can be shaped like conventional classrooms. The purpose of this study was to develop online learning media tools assisted by the Edmodo application in the physics material of electric circuits with the learning model MFI. The research method used is Research and Development (RnD) with the development process using the 4D model, consisting of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The data collection instrument involved 2 material validators, 2 media validators, and 2 learning validators and the teacher's response was tested. This study shows that the validation results and teacher responses are obtained with an average percentage of the assessment of 83%. Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded that online learning media device based Edmodo assisted MFIs are categorized as valid and feasible to use © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

We report on the theoretical and experimental investigations of the transition of a typical quantum system with mixed regular-integrable classical dynamics to one with violated time-reversal(T)*** measurements are performed with a flat superconducting microwave resonator with circular shape in which chaoticity is induced by using either long antennas or inserting two circular disks into the cavity,and by magnetizing a ferrite disk placed at its center,which leads to violation of T *** propose an extension of the Rosenzweig-Porter(RP)model,which interpolates between mixed regular-chaotic instead of integrable dynamics and fully chaotic dynamics with violated T-invariance,and derive a Wigner-surmise like analytical expression for the corresponding nearest-neighbor spacing *** propose a procedure involving this result and those for the RP model to determine the size of T-invariance violation and chaoticity and validate it employing the experimental eigenfrequency spectra.

The aim of this study is to build a science kit of Faraday's Law with free fall motion method. The magnetic flux comes from several neodymium magnets and the coil is made of copper. The moving magnet falling through the coil causes a change in the magnetic flux and produces an induced emf. The data analysis technique used in this research are graphical method and analysis of Faraday's Law equations with another supporting equation. Based on the results of this study, the conclusion is the induced emf value is directly proportional with the change of the magnetic flux and also has a directly proportional with the number of turn of coil, thus it can be obtained the mathematical equation of Faraday's Law ϵ=dφBdt © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The misconceptions experienced by pre-service physics teachers are essential to know;However, these are not easy to identify, let alone to remediate. This study aims to find out how additional instruction changes pre-service physics teachers' responses and whether or not it affects the misconceptions of pre-service physics teachers. Respondents were tested using the online Four-Tier Buoyancy Instrument (FTBI) twice, namely at Time 1 and 2. Preservice physics teachers were given additional instructions between the two measurements by reminding them of the principle of balance on a stationary object or an object moving in a straight line with constant velocity. Quantitative data from the two areas of the instrument are then analyzed and compared to determine the differences in respondents' answers. In-depth interviews were conducted with respondents who had different answers to the instruments. The results showed that a small proportion of respondents had changed their answers to be the correct answers on several FTBI items. The interview results showed that it seems there was a tendency to change the respondents' cognitive structure from locally coherent to global coherent. However, this change does not necessarily reduce pre-service physics teachers' misconceptions about buoyancy significantly. © 2022 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd

Synthesis of BaFe12O19 based on natural iron sand with Cu and Ni doping using the coprecipitation method has been done. This research was conductedat the Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Teacher Training and education, Mataram University. The synthesis was carried out through the variation of doping ions and calcination temperature. The concentration of doping ion used is x = 0.0;0.4;0.8;and 1.0 with variations in calcination temperature of 200, 600, and 1000 0C. The materials used are BaCO3, Fe3O4, CuSO4, and NiCl2.6H2O powder. This synthesis process aims to obtain BaFe12-2xCuxNixO19 powder that will later be used as a microwave absorbent material. To obtain sample powder of BaFe12-2xCuxNixO19, thisresearch is carried out through three stages: Natural sand separation, magnetic minerals separation, and synthesisand calcination. The separation is to attach magnetic materials from the sand using a permanent magnet. After that, the magnetic mineral is detached from the separated sand to obtain Fe3O4 powder, which will later be used for synthesis. The results of synthesis and calcination showed that the more doping ions applied, the more concentrated the resulting powder. Similarly, according to the temperature variation, the higher the temperature, the more black the sample powder is. © 2022 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd

This study aims to determine the need for learning physics due to the covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is a preliminary study with a descriptive approach and the instrument used is a questionnaire. The research subjects were 30 high school teachers consisting of 30 schools in two provinces of East Java and Central Sulawesi. The data analysis of this research is descriptive qualitative obtained based on the teacher's answers. This study shows that several learning components influence overcoming learning problems during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely technological developments, learning models, and learning media. This study concludes that it is necessary to develop physics learning devices as an alternative to learning during the covid-19 pandemic. © 2022 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This study aims to investigate the effects of (a) the causalitic-learning Model (CLM) on (a) Problem-solving Abilities (PSA), (b) mastery of physics-concepts on PSA, and (c) the interaction between CLM and mastery physics-concepts on PSA. This research is a quasi-experimental design with an untreated control group design with a pre-test and post-test. The population is all students of class X Public Senior High School (PSHS) 1 Narmada, amounting to 396 people. Samples were taken using cluster random sampling technique and obtained students class X-1 as the experimental class (14 men and 16 women) and X-2 as the control class (9 men and 21 women). The data were collected using a PSA test and analyzed using parametric statistics two-way ANOVA test.
