The pandemic that has not ended has an impact on changing the educational paradigm. Existing conditions demand to continue to use virtual learning. During the epidemic, this study will examine students' demand for interactive multimedia in virtual learning. The interviews reveal that the media that teachers provide in virtual learning during this pandemic has limits. Data was gathered through interviews and questionnaires given to teachers and students. The student requirements questionnaire reveals that interactive multimedia is the most effective instructional medium for pupils. This study is part of a larger investigation of the evolution of multimedia learning during a pandemic. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

Technological developments in the current era make use of various media for learning. Learning media can facilitate and support practical activities to improve skills, one of which is by using video tutorial media because the video tutorials show the natural form of real objects to follow the instructions easily. This initial research aims to determine the need to develop video tutorial media used by teachers and students in the learning process to assemble computers at the Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta vocational high school. This study used a descriptive-qualitative method by conducting interviews with one teacher and distributing needs analysis questionnaires to 30 students of class X TKJ as research subjects. The results obtained from the statement questionnaire given to students, 93% agreed to develop a video tutorial to facilitate understanding of the material to assemble a computer used for independent or group study wherever and whenever. This research can be used as a criterion for developing instructional media for video tutorials following the material's characteristics for assembling computers. © 2021 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The increasingly massive use of e-Learning illustrates the speed and need for innovation in learning. According to the National Higher education Standards (SN-Dikti), constructive alignment is required between learning outcomes, processes, and assessments to properly implement learning in e-Learning. Assessment is an essential component of e-Learning. Unfortunately, the problem of assessment in e-Learning is still found. One of them is the limitations of e-Learning in accommodating and processing various assessment data, primarily linguistic. Even though the variety of assessment data, both numerical, linguistic, and a combination of the two, supports a comprehensive assessment. On the other hand, the accommodation of linguistic data raises problems regarding how to process of unifying linguistic data is carried out. Research related to linguistic data using computing with words has been carried out, but it still needs more precise results from the unification of the linguistic data. Therefore, this study proposes providing an assessment instrument to accommodate linguistic data in e-Learning, as well as showing how to process of unifying linguistic data is carried out using 2-Tuple Fuzzy Linguistic. This approach can avoid the loss of assessment information by presenting more informative and precise results in a 2-tuple (s, α) where s indicates the ability level, and α shows a comparison of abilities with other learners and the potential of the learner to achieve higher abilities. This proposal has the potential to be applied in a learner assessment system for higher education e-Learning. © 2022 IEEE.

Hydroponics is a method of growing crops without using soil, with the benefits of controlling the environment and nutrients, conserving water, and reducing labor. The applied technology is used to improve results that have consistency. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the IoT devices and platforms used in the development of IoT-based hydroponics. Data obtained from the website *** and *** from 2016 to 2021. This study is a literature review using the PRISMA method. This method is used for literature review using a systematic and structured basic framework. The results of this study indicate that the variables measured are Temperature, Potential Hydrogen (pH), Total Dissolve Solid, Water Temperature, Humidity, UV, Carbon Dioxide, Soil Moisture and Electrical Conductivity. The device used is the ESP8266, Arduino, and Raspberry PI with the MySQL, Thingspeak, Firebase, Domoticz, and Wyliodrin IoT Platforms.

The Covid-19 pandemic has emphasized the critical role of mask-wearing in reducing virus transmission. However, declining public awareness necessitates effective monitoring solutions. This study explores the Single Shot Multibox Detector (SSD) approach, a Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN)-based object detection method, for mask detection. Specifically, we investigate the performance of the SSD model with the ResNet50 architecture as the base network. Through the analysis of a dataset comprising 1000 images of individuals wearing and not wearing masks, the SSD model with ResNet50 achieves an impressive accuracy of 98.23%, surpassing the VGG16-based model's accuracy of 93.56%. These findings underscore the superiority of the CNN-based SSD model with ResNet50 for mask detection. Moreover, they have significant implications for real-time monitoring and enforcing mask-wearing protocols, emphasizing the importance of public awareness and adherence. Leveraging advanced AI techniques, such as CNN-based object detection with SSD, strengthens public health initiatives. The development of robust and efficient mask detection systems contributes to creating a safer environment amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. This research highlights the value of harnessing these advanced technologies to effectively address public health crises. By employing CNN-based SSD with ResNet50, society can enhance its ability to mitigate risks and ensure public safety. © 2023 IEEE.

Kano Model Analysis of Android Apps Quality from End User's Preferences

This study aimed to explore the end user's preferences regarding the features of an android app by classifying them with the Kano Model. The list of features was based on ISO/IEC 25010 combined with Android Core App Quality Guidelines. This expert system android app which is named 'Pilih Media' is used to help teachers selecting learning media based on Anderson's theory of learning media selection. Respondents in this study were 50 teachers. Kano model was used in this study as a guideline in making questionnaires and also analyzing the data. From the study, it can be concluded that there are 17 features classified as the Attractive requirement category, six features classified as One-dimensional category, one feature classified as Must-be category, and five features classified as the Indifferent category. Overall, it seems that a lot of features have the potential to increase the end user's satisfaction.

Development of Training Kit Basic Aerial Robotics Using RC Plane Robot for Robotics Course

RC Plane Robot and basic aerial robotics are technologies that are widely used, so training kits are needed to learn them. This study aims to: (1) Design and build, (2) Test performance and (3) Determine the feasibility level of training kit basic aerial robotics using RC plane robot. The study used the Research and Development method with the following procedures: (1) Potential and problem, (2) Data collection, (3) Design, (4) Validation, (5) Revision and (6) Trial. The object of the research is the RC Plane Robot training kit and the practicum jobsheet. The research subjects were students of the Electronic Engineering education Study program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The results of the research are in the form of hardware and practicum jobsheets. The hardware part consists of a robot plane, a work area (Box) and a remote control. The level of feasibility of training kits by material experts gets a percentage of 91%. By media experts get a percentage of 89.5%. By respondents (students) get a percentage of 86%. Based on these results, the training kit basic aerial robotics using RC plane robot is very feasible to be applied to the Robotics course.

Fuzzy Time Series for Forecasting Railway Passengers in Indonesia

Some fuzzy time series models have their own advantages and disadvantages. In addition, these models sometimes are complex and claimed to have better forecasting result than each other. The suitable model for forecasting depends on a wide variety of considerations. The models proposed by Chen (1996) applied simplified arithmetic operations and claimed more efficiency than before. The model proposed by Chen was introduced in 1996 and still exists in several previous studies. This research aims to forecast the number of railway passengers in Indonesia using the fuzzy time series. In addition, this research also evaluates the forecasting results based on mean absolute error (MAE) and mean absolute percentage error (MAPE). The results showed the forecasting results in this research has accuracy for 86.6%.
