Grounded by students' lack of conceptual understanding in identifying and comprehending basic concepts of computer network, this quasi-experimental study aims to identify the effect of applying blended learning model toward the improvement of students' conceptual understanding. It was designed using non-equivalent control group design in which the experimental group and the control group were differently treated using, respectively, blended learning and conventional learning model. There were 58 students selected as the sample of the research; 30 students in experimental class and 28 students in control class. Essay test was chosen to collect the data of the conceptual understanding of the students in both groups. Using MANOVA, the data analysis revealed the significant effect of applying blended learning model toward students' conceptual understanding with P = 0.000 < 0.05 of significance level. In conclusion, the result of study identified that 1) the students who taught using blended learning model performed better mastery of basic concepts of computer network with the average score was 74.86, valued in high category; 2) there was a significant difference of conceptual understanding improvement between the group taught by applying blended learning and those by conventional learning model in learning basic computer network.

This study was aimed to evaluate the e-learning platform in a graduate school by using User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The data were collected from 65 respondents and analyzed using an excel data analysis tool. The results indicate that all six scales of the instrument are consistent except the novelty scale. Also, the calculated means of the scales are slightly positive as all values are greater than 0.8 compared to the UEQ benchmark. Although the respondents show a little positive impression with the platform, all scales means are below average category except efficiency scale which is above average as compared to the benchmark. This indicates that the platform needs more improvement in all aspects of user experience for it to be at least in a good category. The findings discussed in this paper are valuable for all academic stakeholders in various educational institutions which implement interactive e-learning systems as well as practitioners of user experience and developers of e-learning systems.

This study aims to design the movement of the hexapod robot so that it can move straight forward, turn 90 degrees forward, and move forward 180 degrees by applying the tripod gait method to produce a maximum movement pattern. The robot control system uses Arduino Mega 2560 to control the motion of 18 servo motors through the I2C interface servo motor driver - PCA9685. In straight forward motion testing, an average velocity of 6 cm/s was obtained, 90 degree forward motion testing obtained an average speed of 18 degrees/s, while the 180 degree rotational forward motion test also obtained an average speed of 18 degrees/s.

Intrusion Detection System provides services related to surveillance of computer security, as one of the minimum components that must exist in a computer network architecture. Regarding the adoption of cloud technology, many users have switched to using cloud computers to operate servers, applications, or the web in cloud computing. To meet the security needs of users, various open source and commercial tools are being developed. Although many developments have taken place in the IDS area, in cloud-based IDS many challenges such as security, interoperability, resource scheduling, virtualization still need to be improved. This paper reviews the paradigms and surveys about the Intrusion Detection System that runs on cloud computing in terms of concepts, technology, tools, and various challenges. The pandemic that has not ended has an impact on changing the educational paradigm. Existing conditions demand to continue to use virtual learning. During the epidemic, this study will examine students' demand for interactive multimedia in virtual learning. The interviews reveal that the media that teachers provide in virtual learning during this pandemic has limits. Data was gathered through interviews and questionnaires given to teachers and students. The student requirements questionnaire reveals that interactive multimedia is the most effective instructional medium for pupils. This study is part of a larger investigation of the evolution of multimedia learning during a pandemic.
