This paper addresses the study of the variable failure rate of high-voltage circuit breaker by using the Weibull distribution method to set time-based maintenance schedule properly. Power circuit breaker is installed in the substation in varied configurations, the case study for compared with, Main and Transfer bus arrangement, and Breaker and A Half bus arrangement. These are used more in substation of Thailand. From the numbers of failure data of power circuit breaker in 230-kV level, recorded by maintenance engineers of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand's transmission network in the period of 1991-2011. The Weibull distribution is the well-known method to analyze electrical equipment to calculate the failure rate and Mean Time Between Failure of each part of power circuit breaker. After getting Mean Time Between Failure, the parts can categorized and the time-based maintenance schedule can be set consequently. This schedule replacement of such subcomponents usually decreases the total failure rate designated as variable failure rate of high voltage equipment. The results from the table of maintenance schedule by categorizing each part of power circuit breaker with the new replacement subcomponent group show that the failure rate of power circuit breaker can be diminished and it helps to plan maintenance schedule, and also to store up parts of power circuit breaker properly, which will reduce the cost of power circuit breaker maintenance as well.

Process mining is an emerging area that can be useful in helping organizations understand the status quo, check for compliance and plan for improving their processes. The aim of process mining is to extract knowledge from event logs of today’s organizational information systems. Process mining includes three main types: discovering process models from event logs, conformance checking and organizational mining. In this paper, we briefly introduce process mining and review some of its most important techniques. Also, we investigate some of the applications of process mining in industry and present some of the most important challenges that are faced in this area.

This paper is focused on the analysis and design of the capacitive plates of the capacitive wireless power transfer system. The coupling structure resembles a loosely coupled capacitor. The electric field coupling interface is the most vital part of the wireless technology. The coupling interface determines the capacitance of the coupling capacitors, maximum power transfer, frequency and overall efficiency of the system. The paper is dedicated to understand the behaviour of the system with respect to the structural construction, frequency of operation and factors that affect the power transfer of the system. The various arrangements and configurations of the capacitive power transfer (CPT) are discussed. The important factors affects the value of coupling capacitance are discussed. Based on results obtained from the analysis, a design guide line is laid out for the construction of the coupling capacitors. The design guidelines addresses critical issues such as operational voltage, temperature stability and selection of the dielectric material. The construction of the system is simple, rugged and inexpensive, which makes it a great contender among the other wireless technology.

The paper outlines a capacitive power transfer (CPT) system for higher power applications. The paper summarizes the operating principle, power electronics requirement and modeling of a basic CPT system. The high frequency converter is the drive force of the contactless system. The high frequency converters found in literature are discussed with their advantages and their drawbacks. With the knowledge of the converters used, an existing topology is modified to fit the capacitive interface of the capacitive power transfer system. The modified LLC resonant converters has several advantages over the traditional converters used for contactless CPT .The converter has a very high power density and can be used for very high power applications. One of the greatest advantages the modified LLC resonant converter is the ability to work off resonance and the inherent ability to buck or boost as per its gain plot. The converter exhibits efficiencies greater than 90%. The design of the proposed topology along with its advantages over the existing topologies for small distance applications are listed.
