In general, public or private organizations or companies have used information-based technology as a support to improve business performance to be more effective and efficient in order to achieve a company's business goals. Given the large contribution of information technology in the application of hotel applications as a supporting information system, it is a vital system that must avoid risks that can hinder and cause harm to the hotel management business processes. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out risk management using the COBIT 5 framework to manage possible risks that may occur based on the APO12 (Manage Risk) domain. From the evaluation results of the data obtained through observation and interviews as well as the calculation of the results of the questionnaire based on 6 APO12 subdomains, the results of the risk management level capability assessment in hotel applications are still at level 3 or have reached the level of established process with the target to be achieved at level 4 resulting in a gap of 1 level. Based on the results obtained, it is necessary to propose recommendations that can be used by hotels in improving the application of information technology risk management so that in the future it can achieve the expected target level so that the APO12 level of capability can increase and become more optimal. © 2023 IEEE.

Accurate early diagnosis is crucial in addressing Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), a chronic retinal disease that is a leading cause of blindness among the elderly. Medical imaging, particularly fundus imaging, is essential in facilitating timely detection and intervention. Due to the variability in image sizes within our dataset, this paper introduces the SABiT-MNet model, which effectively discriminates between healthy retinas, dry AMD, and wet AMD. The model integrates a novel scale-adaptive (SA) approach by combining an autoencoder with Big Transfer (BiT) as its backbone. Unlike traditional resizing methods, which often result in the loss of critical diagnostic information, the SA model dynamically adjusts to varying image sizes, preserving key retinal features essential for accurate diagnosis. The primary aim of this architecture is to retain crucial details in fundus images to ensure precise classification. In this study, 648 subjects were recruited through the Comparisons of AMD Treatments Trials study group, sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed SABiT-MNet model outperforms state-of-the-art approaches, including transformer-based models, achieving superior diagnostic accuracy. The model recorded performance metrics of 94% accuracy, 97% sensitivity, and 93.94% specificity. To further validate the robustness of the system, we tested it on the public ODiR dataset, where it achieved similarly promising results, confirming the effectiveness of our approach.

LaMoD: Latent Motion Diffusion Model For Myocardial Strain Generation

Motion and deformation analysis of cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging videos is crucial for assessing myocardial strain of patients with abnormal heart functions. Recent advances in deep learning-based image registration algorithms have shown promising results in predicting motion fields from routinely acquired CMR sequences. However, their accuracy often diminishes in regions with subtle appearance changes, with errors propagating over time. Advanced imaging techniques, such as displacement encoding with stimulated echoes (DENSE) CMR, offer highly accurate and reproducible motion data but require additional image acquisition, which poses challenges in busy clinical flows. In this paper, we introduce a novel Latent Motion Diffusion model (LaMoD) to predict highly accurate DENSE motions from standard CMR videos. More specifically, our method first employs an encoder from a pre-trained registration network that learns latent motion features (also considered as deformation-based shape features) from image sequences. Supervised by the ground-truth motion provided by DENSE, LaMoD then leverages a probabilistic latent diffusion model to reconstruct accurate motion from these extracted features. Experimental results demonstrate that our proposed method, LaMoD, significantly improves the accuracy of motion analysis in standard CMR images;hence improving myocardial strain analysis in clinical settings for cardiac patients. The use of batteries as an energy storage medium has a very important role in the installation of renewable energy power plants, such as photovoltaics to overcome intermittency in photovoltaics and to maintain stable power quality. In this study, the installation of solar plants that was used as the research object was a smart micro grid that integrates photovoltaic electrical energy sources with the Utility electricity network for residential scale. The battery monitoring system is used to manage the performance of existing batteries on the electricity grid through analysis of the battery's electrical values such as current, voltage, power and energy, so that it can function optimally in storing electrical energy and supplying electricity to users. Internet of things (IoT) technology is used to provide easy transfer of data obtained through the process of data acquisition to data visualization provided to be accessed by users in real time. This research aims to develop an IoT-based battery monitoring system. The development carried out focuses on the data acquisition process, the data transfer process using IoT technology, the process of analyzing and visualizing data on the IoT cloud and remote access to users.

Osteoporosis can be defined as a degenerative disease with reduced bone mass and changes in bone architecture that can lead to bone fragility and the risk of fractures. This abnormality can be indicated by the bone density which in visual can be determined using X-Ray images. However, X-Ray images are susceptible to noise, while in image analysis image contrast affects deep learning abilities. Hence, the CLAHE (Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization) algorithm is used as a contrast enhancement technique in X-Ray images. This study aims to build a deep learning model using the CLAHE-enhanced image dataset with the ResNet-50 and ResNet-101 architectures. The model was built using two different datasets, namely the original image dataset and the CLAHE-enhanced image dataset. The result shows that the highest performance is given by the ResNet-101 model using the CLAHE-enhanced image dataset with an accuracy rate of 96%, precision of 95%, specificity of 95%, recall of 97% and an F1-score of 96%, respectively. By using the CLAHE algorithm, the resulting image has high contrast and looks better at displaying features in the image so as to produce better model performance. © 2023 IEEE.

Immersive learning has gained significant attention with the rising trend of spatial computing, particularly in the after-pandemic era. Numerous research has explored the potential of immersive learning in higher education, primarily on the educational sector. However, prior research has frequently focused too narrowly on the effects of technology and neglected to address the crucial element influencing successful immersive learning in higher education. This study seeks to pinpoint the crucial element contributing to the development of immersive learning experiences. The methodology uses a systematic literature review (SLR) from 2018 up to 2023 to investigate the critical factors of immersive Learning in Higher Education. From the 728 papers initially retrieved, 274 were considered potential candidates, and ultimately, 86 articles were selected based on their relevance to the research question. The results reveal that the critical factors include learning design, technology, immersion, engagement, interactivity, and usability. Academic interests will benefit from this SLR's consequences as institutions create models for designing suitable immersive learning, especially within the context of higher education. © 2023 IEEE.

The rapid pace of development in Artificial Intelligence (AI) necessitates formulating effective national strategies for its maximization and minimizing its accompanying repercussions. In this article, a proposed National Artificial Intelligence Strategy for Jordan is formulated, with an orientation towards a systemic and organized national structure relevant to Jordan's socio-economic environment. What is new in this proposed National AI Strategy is its localized orientation, blending AI-facilitated economic development, governance, and ethics relevant to Jordan. It also formulates a governance model, with coordination between principal entities such as government, academia, and private sectors, for effective implementation. The proposed strategy sets specific digital transformation targets, in consonance with Jordan's Vision 2030 and National Strategy for Digital Transformation (2021–2025). AI use in critical sectors such as national security, energy, healthcare, and education takes a top position, with a view towards adhering to regulations, utilizing AI in an ethical manner, and developing technology in a sustainable manner. Outcomes include enhancing AI literacy, diversifying economies, enhancing employment in AI-related industries, and national competitiveness at a global level. This work forms part of an emerging portfolio of studies in national AI strategies and sets a country-specific model in consonance with Jordan's specific development aims, offering a model for AI strategy development in emerging economies.

Monolithic GaN power IC has been regarded as the ultimate solution to unlock the full potential of the wide bandgap GaN technology for next-generation high-speed, high-efficiency and high-density power circuits. However, with scarce power device options, the current development of monolithic GaN power ICs faces severe design challenges. A critical example can be found in the design of one of the most important circuit modules – the voltage level shifter, which is the enabler to drive any kind of high-side power switch in a power circuit. To overcome this challenge, this paper proposes a new circuit structure and a novel operation concept of a dynamic floating voltage level shifter to reduce propagation delays, improve dynamic slew rates and attain superb dv⁄dt noise immunity for both speed and reliability improvements. Implemented on a 200V, 180nm, n-type only, GaN-on-SOI process, the proposed voltage level shifter only occupies a die area of 0.12mm 2 and achieves 2.81ns rising and 3.44ns falling propagation delays at room temperature with a slew rate of 100V/ ns.

Myocardial strain imaging provides a valuable tool for detecting subclinical left ventricular (LV) dysfunction and adding prognostic value in assessing various types of heart disease. Recent studies have utilized highly accurate strain-dedicated techniques, such as displacement encoding with stimulated echoes (DENSE), to train a deep learning (DL) framework to predict the myocardial displacements/deformations from routine cine balanced steady state free precession (bSSFP) images. However, these methods have shown limited performance in capturing the large rotational motion of the myocardium associated with twist and torsion over time, which are important aspects of myocardial mechanics. To address this gap, this paper introduces a novel DENSE-guided DL network that explicitly accounts for large rotational motion to further improve strain analysis of standard cine bSSFP images. Specifically, our proposed network includes two key components: (i) a time-series rotation estimation network employing a 3D convolutional encoder-decoder architecture to model the large rotational dynamics of the LV myocardium over time, and (ii) a radial motion prediction network based on deformable image registration. The output of these two sub-networks was integrated and refined through a fusion network to predict the final myocardial displacements, supervised by DENSE ground truth. Experimental results show that our method improves the accuracy of myocardial strain with effectively captured large rotations.
