The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), an aircraft with no pilots on board, appeals to widespread appli- cations in military and civil fields [1]. In complex and dynamic mission environments, a single UAV will suffer from fatal drawbacks, such as the limitation in sensing range, computing capacity, and weapon pow- er. Therefore, the usage of UAV autonomous swarms for mission implementation will be a better choice for the dilemma single UAVs plunge in, which requires the capacity of precise real-time perception of emergency, autonomous decision making, and mission re-planning, based on pre-programmed flight plan or more complex dynamic automation system instead of remote control from ground control stations.

In order to combine the model-based control algorithm with the physical model, this paper proposed a co-simulation system of permanent magnetic spherical motor (PMSM). Firstly, a new track planning was simulated in ADAMS for the convenience of trajectory tracking. Secondly, a new co-simulation interface was presented, thus the model-based control algorithm can be used to control the physical model generated in ADAMS. Finally, sliding-mode control algorithm was realized based on the co-simulation platform, and the simulation results show that the model-based control algorithm and physical model can combine well based on the above interface.

In this article a data driven approach for the classification of simultaneously occurring faults in an induction motor is presented. The problem is treated as a multi-label classification problem with each label corresponding to one specific fault, using the power-set approach. The faulty conditions examined, include the existence of a broken bar fault and the presence of mixed eccentricity with various degrees of static and dynamic eccentricity. For the feature extraction stage, the time-frequency representation, resulting from the application of the short time Fourier transform of the start-up current is exploited. The proposed approach is validated using simulation data with promising results.

In this paper, a low-cost dualtone radio interferometric positioning system using a single mobile anchor is proposed to locate multiple targets at the same time. We name it mDRIPS. In mDRIPS, each target continuously transmits a dual-tone signal with its dedicated frequencies, and the mobile anchor receives the signals at different positions along its trajectory, Neither time synchronization between the mobile anchor and the targets nor time synchronization among the targets is required. We take the instability of targets clocks into consideration and develop an ESPRIT-type algorithm to estimate frequencies of each dual-tone signal. Furthermore, the time of arrival (TOA) of each target signal is extracted from the phase estimates of the received dual-tone signals. After measuring several TOAs at different locations along the anchor's trajectory, each target can be located. Since the frequency difference of the two tones of each dualtone signal is designed to be smaller than the channel coherence bandwidth, the same fading effect on these two tones can be eliminated. Moreover, the integer ambiguity problem due to phase wrapping is investigated, and a localization algorithm to deal with a simplified ambiguity problem is proposed. Numerical results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed mDRIPS.
