The inevitable temperature raise leads to the demagnetization of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), that is undesirable in the application of electrical vehicle. This paper presents a nonlinear demagnetization model taking into account temperature with the Wiener structure and neural network characteristics. The remanence and intrinsic coercivity are chosen as intermediate variables, thus the relationship between motor temperature and maximal permanent magnet flux is described by the proposed neural Wiener model. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate the precision of temperature dependent demagnetization model. This work makes the basis of temperature compensation for the output torque from PMSM.

A novel design of a nonlinear full-order observer for sensorless vector controlled induction motors is proposed in this paper. It is known that the speed-sensorless vector control drive system of induction motors does not perform satisfactorily at the low speed, which is caused by the voltage model and its emf calculation of motors. The nonlinear full-order observer system abandons the voltage model and its emf calculation of motors, makes use of the motor as a reference model and the stator model together with the current model as an adjustable model. In this paper, the model reference adaptive system (MRAS) is proposed, and then the nonlinear full-order observer system is presented based on the MRAS. Finally, several simulations verify feasibility of the proposed strategy.

This paper addresses the disturbance rejection problem for a class of linear systems in the presence of input delay via DOBC approach. Truncated predictor feedback method is applied to deal with the input delay based on the estimate of state and external disturbance, and further endeavours are made to ensure the extra integral terms of the system state and external disturbance due to the input delay are properly considered using Krasovskii functionals. With the tool of Lyapunov functions, the stability of the closed-loop system is proved under sufficient conditions. a simulation study is given to validate the proposed control design.

This paper presents a novel beam flexure-based XY positioning stage with an axial force balanced design of double parallelogram decoupling modules. By mean of connecting two decoupling modules along the same actuation axis, the axial forces are evenly applied to each side of the motion stage. Therefore the in-plane rotation can be significantly restricted. Also a redundant constraint is proposed to the guidance module to restrict its rotational motions. The monolithical fabrication of the spatial configuration of the proposed mechanism can be resorted to additive manufactured technology. Numerical simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed XY positioning stage.

Due to the low damping in a central driven electric vehicle and lack of passive damping mechanisms as compared with a conventional vehicle, the vehicle may endure torsional vibrations which may deteriorates the vehicle's drivability. Thus active damping control strategy is required to reduce the undesirable oscillations in an EV. In this paper, the origin of the vibration and the design of a damping control method to suppress such oscillations to improve the drivability of an EV are studied. The traction motor torque that is given by the vehicle controller is adjusted according to the acceleration rate of the motor speed to attenuate the resonant frequency. Simulations and experiments are performed to validate the system. The results show that the proposed control system can effectively suppress oscillations and hence improve drivability.

In the research of route planning, better balance between planning time and route quality should be achieved to reduce UAVs cost. This article is based on basic RRT(Rapidly-exploring Random Trees) and proposes an improved RRTonnect algorithm which improves the way generating new node of the tree, and changes the parameters by the fuzzy inference according to the circumstance. Simulation and experiments prove that the improved RRTonnect algorithm improves the efficiency of the planning and optimizes the route.
