This paper studies a path following problem of autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) in complex and harsh working environment. Firstly, a kinematic model of an AUV in the vertical plane is built by constructing an earth coordinate system and a body coordinate system. Secondly, a guidance pitch angle is proposed by using a double dipole vector field, and guidance speeds are designed based on the back-stepping method. Finally, the stability of the proposed control system is proved by Lyapunov stability theory. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the real-time safe path following control of autonomous underwater vehicles based on double dipole vector field. © 2024 Asian control Association.

The electro-hydrostatic actuator(EHA)used in more electric aircraft(MEA)has been extensively studied due to its advantages of high reliability and high ***,this high integration results in a small heat dissipation area,leading to high-temperature ***,to reduce the temperature,a wet cooling method of using the pump leakage oil to cool the motor is adopted,which can also increase the difficulty of accurately predicting the system temperature in the early design *** solve this problem,a dynamic coupling thermal model of a wet EHA is proposed in this *** particular,the leakage oil of the pump is used as a coupling item between the electrical system and the hydraulic ***,an improved T-equivalent block model is proposed to address the uneven distribution of axial oil temperature inside the motor,and the control node method is applied to hydraulic system thermal ***,a dynamic coupling thermal model is developed that enables a dynamic evaluation of the wet EHA ***,experimental prototypes of wet motor and wet EHA are developed,while the temperature response of the wet motor at different rotation speeds and different loads and the temperature response of the wet EHA at no-load condition were verified experimentally at room temperature,*** maximum temperature difference between the experimental and theoretical results of the wet motor as well as the experimental and theoretical results of the wet EHA is less than 8℃.These test results indicate that the dynamic coupling thermal model is valid and demonstrate that the thermal coupling modeling method proposed in this paper can provide a basis for the detailed thermal design of EHA.

Due to the continuous growth in steel market demand and the shift towards small batches and multiple varieties, efficient storage management has become a key factor in increasing the profitability of logistics parks. However, the current storage methods, due to the unreasonable allocation of stack positions, still result in energy waste during the dispatch phase and the need for trucks to pick up goods across multiple yards. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a comprehensive optimization scheme to reduce truck transfers and energy consumption in steel product dispatch. First, we constructed an optimization problem model that integrates the spatial layout of the logistics park and order data, aiming to maximize the correlation between steel products within the same yard and reduce the total energy consumption during the dispatch phase. Subsequently, a new algorithm called Enhanced Greedy and Tabu-Assisted Adaptive Large Neighborhood Search (EGTA-ALNS) is introduced. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms existing ones in terms of solving speed and scale. It effectively optimizes energy consumption during steel dispatch and reduces the number of truck transfers. © 2024 IEEE.

In view of the problem of slow detection speed and low accuracy in manual detection and existing mask wearing detection algorithms in special public places, this paper proposes a MobileNet-YOLOv2 mask wearing detection method fused with attention mechanism. We have adjusted the backbone network structure of the original YOLOv2 algorithm, replacing the backbone network Darknet-19 with MobileNet, and using deep separable convolution for feature extraction, greatly reducing the number of model parameters and computational complexity, and improving detection speed. Introducing the convolutional attention mechanism module CBAM enables the feature extraction network to focus more on key image regions and improve detection accuracy. Collect and establish 850 facial mask wearing images to train and test the proposed algorithm model. The experimental result shows that the average detection accuracy of wearing a mask reaches $90 \%$, while the detection accuracy of not wearing a mask reaches $80 \%$. Compared to the DarknetYOLOv2 and SSD algorithms, the detection speed has been improved by 6.3 and 6.5 times, and the model size has been reduced by $77.5 \%, 89.1 \%$, and $89.2 \%$, respectively, compared to Darknet-YOLOv2, R-CNN, and Faster-RCNN.

This paper presents an accurate altitude estimation on a small multirotor UAV. That is crucial for the stability and performance of UAV, particularly in altitude hold control. Barometric pressure sensors are widely used to estimate altitude based on atmospheric pressure, but their readings are highly susceptible to environmental fluctuations, temperature variations, and dynamic airflow effects. To mitigate these altitude errors, this study focuses on enhanced flight control installation techniques, including the physical protection of barometric sensors inside enclosed, well-ventilated compartments to shield them from wind disturbances and rapid pressure changes. The proposed mitigation strategy is validated through ground testing and flight testing, where altitude hold performance is assessed under various environmental conditions. The results confirm that enclosing the barometric sensor within a protective, ventilated chamber significantly reduces altitude estimation errors, leading to more stable altitude hold control with reduced vertical oscillations. These findings highlight the importance of integrated sensor protection in UAV flight control system design and provide a practical framework for improving altitude estimation reliability in both consumer and industrial UAV applications. © 2025 IEEE.

Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) are widely used in various fields due to their high efficiency, high power factor and small volume. In this paper, a segmented permanent magnet interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) is proposed and optimized. First, the topology of the IPMSM is introduced. Second, multi-objective optimization is performed by non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II (NSGA-II) using rotor structure parameters as optimization variables, saliency ratio as constraint, electromagnetic torque and constant-power speed range as objective functions. Then, the electromagnetic characteristics of the initial IPMSM and the optimized IPMSM are analyzed and compared. The results show that the torque and constant-power speed range of the optimized motor are improved, which verifies the validity of the optimization method. The proposed motor is suitable for electric vehicles, which require large torque at low speeds and wide constant-power speed range at high speeds.

With the widespread adoption of energy storage systems utilizing power batteries, battery lifespan degradation has become a primary constraint on system performance. To address this issue, this study proposes a lifespan-optimized battery control strategy. Firstly, a battery lifespan calculation model for the energy storage system is established, taking into detailed consideration key parameters such as battery State of Charge (SOC). Secondly, a control strategy based on SOC for charging and discharging is designed, aiming to minimize battery lifespan consumption to the greatest extent possible. Finally, experimental results demonstrate that the proposed control strategy significantly improves the lifespan of the energy storage system compared to existing strategies. This research provides an effective means of control for the long-term stable operation of power battery systems. © 2024 IEEE.

With the rapid development of edge computing, industrial automation has evolved a two-layer distributed computing architecture, including local controllers communicating through wired networks and edge controllers communicating wirelessly. The edge controllers in existing studies use WIFI, which has a limited working distance and requires independent network deployment, so they are unsuitable for future large-scale complex industrial production. At present, 5G technology is undergoing rapid development in the field of industrial automation, with wide coverage and excellent mobility, gradually becoming suitable for future large-scale and complex industrial production scenarios. Therefore, this paper proposed an SW5G method based on 5G, which combined the local controller with the edge controller. The controllers were switched according to the constantly changing 5G network transmission delay, thereby optimizing the overall system control performance. Finally, simulation experiments demonstrated good control performance of SW5G in various network scenarios. © 2023 IEEE.

Automatic modeling algorithm of stochastic error for inertial sensors

This paper proposes an automatic algorithm to determine the properties of stochastic processes and their parameters for inertial error. The proposed approach is based on a recently developed method called the generalized method of wavelet moments (GMWM), whose estimator was proven to be consistent and asymptotically normally distributed. This algorithm is suitable mainly (but not only) for the combination of several stochastic processes, where the model identification and parameter estimation are quite difficult for the traditional methods, such as the Allan variance and the power spectral density analysis. This algorithm further explores the complete stochastic error models and the candidate model ranking criterion to realize automatic model identification and determination. The best model is selected by making the trade-off between the model accuracy and the model complexity. The validation of this approach is verified by practical examples of model selection for MEMS-IMUs (micro-electro-mechanical system inertial measurement units) in varying dynamic conditions.

Blended learning integrates online and face-to-face (FTF) teaching methods to offer students in higher education a flexible and customized educational experience. Despite its significant advantages in promoting academic achievement and increasing student participation, blended learning presents challenges for educators due to difficulties in collecting and analyzing learning behavior data. Existing research mainly focuses on single learning modes, and data collection methods primarily rely on interviews and questionnaires, which can be subjective. To address these challenges, this study developed a mobile software called EasyClass, integrated with an online Small Private Online Course(SPOC) platform, to automatically record student behaviors in a blended learning environment. Obtaining data from an undergraduate blended learning course, statistical methods are used to analyze the correlation between student behaviors and final grades, as well as to identify factors affecting grades. The results of multivariate linear regression models confirmed the feasibility and effectiveness of blended instruction. This study provides a new approach to identifying and disseminating effective data collection strategies in blended learning, enabling educators and educational institutions to better understand and assess student behaviors, and to further explore their impact on final academic achievement.
