This paper describes a smart grid economic dispatch (SGED) approach without considering the network equality security constraints. The economic dispatch (ED) problem is one of the fundamental problems in the power system. The objective of ED is to reduce the total power generation cost. The SGED is performed for a test system that comprises three generators and one battery storage device (a 5 MW hydrogen storage unit), considering the consumer power demand. The economic dispatch will be performed for the whole day. The economic dispatch is performed according to the ascending power production cost.

Contribution of student involvement in production/service unit and experience of industry practices to entrepreneurial attitude and the impact entrepeneurship readiness of vocational high school students of great Malang

Purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of student involvement in production/ service unit (X1), experience of industry practices (X2), and entrepreneurial attitude (Y) towards readiness entrepreneurship (Z) of vocational student regional Malang. The design of the study using a quantitative approach. The samples used as many as 130 respondents. Instruments used for collecting data in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis included descriptive and test of hypothesis. The result showed: that the description of data on the level of student involvement in production/ service unit, experience of industry practices, entrepreneurial attitude and entrepreneurship readiness in the high category. The contribution student involvement in production/ service unit of entrepreneurial attitude of 10.6%. The contribution experience of industry practices of entrepreneurial attitude of 17.4%. The contribution student involvement in production/ service unit and experience of industry practices simultaneously to entrepreneurial attitude of 44.1%. The contribution student involvement in production/ service unit of readiness entrepreneurship of 4%. The contribution experience of industry practices of readiness entrepreneurship of 5%. The contribution entrepreneurial attitude of readiness entrepreneurship of 16%. Finally, the contribution student involvement in production/ service unit, experience of industry practices, and entrepreneurial attitude simultaneously to readiness entrepreneurship of 50.3%.

Optimal Location of a Distributed Generator for Power Losses Improvement

This paper describes the optimal location of a 2.3 MW distributed generator (DG) in a test system (IEEE 14 bus test system) based on the power losses. The distributed generator (DG) optimal location will determined considering the power losses at each bus where the DG is connected. The power losses at each bus will be determined with the Neplan software, using the Newton-Raphson extended method.

Reconstruction of brain sources from magnetoencephalography and electroencephalography (M/EEG) data is a well known problem in the neuroengineering field. A inverse problem should be solved and several methods have been proposed. Low Resolution Electromagnetic Tomography (LORETA) and the different variations proposed as standardized LORETA (sLORETA) and the standardized weighted LORETA (swLORETA) have solved the inverse problem following a non-parametric approach, that is by setting dipoles in the whole brain domain in order to estimate the dipole positions from the M/EEG data and assuming some spatial priors. Errors in the reconstruction of sources are presented due the low spatial resolution of the LORETA framework and the influence of noise in the observable data. In this work a kernel temporal enhancement (kTE) is proposed in order to build a preprocessing stage of the data that allows in combination with the swLORETA method a improvement in the source reconstruction. The results are quantified in terms of three dipole error localization metrics and the strategy of swLORETA + kTE obtained the best results across different signal to noise ratio (SNR) in random dipoles simulation from synthetic EEG data.

The first measurements of proton emission accompanied by neutron emission in the electromagnetic dissociation (EMD) of Pb208 nuclei in the ALICE experiment at the Large Hadron Collider are presented. The EMD protons and neutrons emitted at very forward rapidities are detected by the proton and neutron zero degree calorimeters of the ALICE experiment. The emission cross sections of zero, one, two, and three protons accompanied by at least one neutron were measured in ultraperipheral Pb208−Pb208 collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair sNN=5.02TeV. The 0p and 3p cross sections are described by the RELDIS model within their measurement uncertainties, while the 1p and 2p cross sections are underestimated by the model by 17–25%. According to this model, these 0p, 1p, 2p, and 3p cross sections are associated, respectively, with the production of various isotopes of Pb, Tl, Hg, and Au in the EMD of Pb208. The cross sections of the emission of a single proton accompanied by the emission of one, two, or three neutrons in EMD were also measured. The data are significantly overestimated by the RELDIS model, which predicts that the (1p,1n), (1p,2n), and (1p,3n) cross sections are very similar to the cross sections for the production of the thallium isotopes Tl206,205,204.

Berkah Mart is one of the new minimarkets in Pekanbaru city which began to develop as a retail business to meet the needs of the community. In his operation, Berkah Mart still uses the traditional store management perception that the placement of product layout on sale shelves has not been through sales analysis. Existing products have not been reviewed from the consumer's point of view, whereas the marketing economics concept provides a variety of product and consumer management methods for business management in Berkah Mart, including market bucket analysis techniques and various itemset search algorithms. In this research, Market Basket Basket Analysis with FP-Growth algorithm is proposed to determine the layout and planning of goods availability. The application of FP-Growth algorithm proved to be useful in generating many and informative association rules to find out the consumer spending pattern at Berkah Mart in Pekanbaru. Moreover, from the rules of the customer association can be segmented separately to meet the specific needs of customers with cost-effective by using some special promotions for the general group. The experimental results show that FP-Growth algorithm can analyze quickly and efficiently informing consumer shopping pattern at Berkah Mart and can increase Berkah Mart revenue.

Electric-field control of magnetization promises to substantially enhance the energy efficiency of device applications ranging from data storage to solid-state cooling. However, the intrinsic linear magnetoelectric effect is typically small in bulk materials. In thin films, electric-field tuning of spin-orbit-interaction phenomena (e.g., magnetocrystalline anisotropy) has been reported to achieve a partial control of the magnetic state. Here we explore the piezomagnetic effect (PME), driven by frustrated exchange interactions, which can induce a net magnetization in an antiferromagnet and reverse its direction via elastic strain generated piezoelectrically. Our ab initio study of PME in Mn-based antiperovskite nitrides identified an extraordinarily large PME in Mn3SnN available at room temperature. We explain the magnitude of PME based on features of the electronic structure and show an inverse proportionality between the simulated zero-temperature PME and the magnetovolume effect at the magnetic (Néel) transition measured by Takenaka et al. in nine antiferromagnetic Mn3AN systems.

Insulation failure on generator winding insulation occurred in the Wonogiri Hydropower plant has caused stator damage since ase was short circuited to ground. The fault has made the generator stop to operate. Wonogiri Hydropower plant is one of the hydroelectric plants run by PT. Indonesia Power UBP Mrica with capacity 2 × 6.2 MW. To prevent damage to occur again on hydropower generators, an analysis is carried out using Root Cause Failure Analysis RCFA is a systematic approach to identify the root cause of the main orbasic root cause of a problem or a condition that is not wanted. There are several aspects to concerned such as: loading pattern and operations, protection systems, generator insulation resistance, vibration, the cleanliness of the air and the ambient air. Insulation damage caused by gradual inhomogeneous cooling at the surface of winding may lead in to partial discharge. In homogeneous cooling may present due to lattice hampered by dust and oil deposits. To avoid repetitive defects and unwanted condition above, it is necessary to perform major maintenance overhaul every 5000-6000 hours of operation.

At the Unit Laka Lantas Polres Lhokseumawe determining accident-prone areas on roads in Lhokseumawe still using manual systems. Determination of accident-prone areas are less effective because the police Unit Laka Lantas Polres Lhokseumawe just using the data of the last year and had to repeatedly calculate manually accident-prone areas based on the number of human casualties. In this study the system implementation CUSUM method (Cummulative Summary) to determine the accident-prone areas designed using the web-based programming language PHP. In this system there are three processes to determine areas prone to accidents, the accident rate calculations based on the weighted severity, blacksite calculations using the Z-Score method for determining areas prone to accident blackspots and calculations using the CUSUM method to determine the critical points of an accident. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Police Unit Laka Lantas Polres Lhokseumawe years 2009-2013.
