The Internet of Things (IoT) has revolutionized the way we interact with our environment, and the smart meter is one of the most important applications of loT. This paper presents an loT-based smart meter designed to measure energy consumption accurately and detect energy theft in real-time. The system is based on the ATmega328p and uses the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module and SIM800 GSM module to establish wireless connectivity and loT functionality. The smart meter employs AC current and voltage sensors to measure true RMS of power and energy consumption. The system is designed to provide real-time energy consumption data to the utility company, enabling them to manage the power grid more efficiently. Additionally, the system can detect energy theft by comparing the energy consumption data with the expected energy consumption for a given period. The system can also send alerts to the utility company and the end-user in case of any suspicious activity. The proposed loT-based smart meter can help reduce energy wastage and improve the overall efficiency of the power grid.

Currently, the performance of the police in Indonesia is often in the spotlight of the public with cases that occur, both on a national and regional scale, including personal experiences who also feel disappointed with the performance of the police. The cases, such as the rape of three children by a biological father in East Luwu, and the barrage of other cases that have occurred, in their handling have left the public disappointed, giving rise to the hashtag percumlaporpolisi on social media, especially on twitter. This hashtag became trending and was widely responded to by the public. Using free hashtag keywords, tweet data is collected using Twitter's API for sentiment analysis. The datasets obtained from the crawling results is the latest data with a total of 100 datasets. This study applies the naïve bayes algorithm using textblob which aims to determine the value of polarity and subjectivity. From the results of the analysis carried out, the words that appear most often are useless police, police chief, and policeman. While the results of the sentiment analysis that has been carried out are 40 percent positive sentiment, 40 percent are neutral sentiment and 10 percent are negative sentiment from the hashtags used. From these results, according to the keywords used, the percentage of negative sentiment should be greater than positive and neutral sentiment. It is necessary to conduct a more in-depth study related to the model used in the next research. © 2023 IEEE.

Batik is an Indonesian world cultural heritage. Batik consists of many kinds of patterns depending on where the batik comes from, Batik-making techniques continue to develop along with technology development. Among the batik making techniques that are widely used are hand-written, stamping, and printing. Batik motifs have been widely used as research material, especially in the field of artificial intelligence. The diverse appearance of batik motifs has attracted many researchers to carry out research on making synthetic batik patterns, one of which uses a Generative Adversarial Network. This paper presents a synthetic batik pattern model based on the Wasserstein Generative Adversarial Network with Gradient Penalty. This model has been proven to create new synthetic batik patterns quite well and almost identical with images provided in the dataset, with the notes if the dataset provided is large. © 2023 IEEE.

As it is known the passive components like the resistor, the coil and the capacitor in reality are not ideal components and have a nonlinear component. In this paper is started from the real equivalent circuit of a capacitor and is created a nonlinear SPICE model whose static capacity varies with voltage. The correctness of the SPICE model is studied on the capacitive region of the capacitor. Also, a study of the behavior of the SPICE model without considering the variation with temperature, aging, ESL and ESR will be presented. All to be considered in a future paper. The behavior of the SPICE model is compared with the behavior of the real capacitor and with the SPICE behavior of the capacitor proposed by the component manufacturer. © 2020 IEEE.

Electronic devices and appliances have become quintessential part of households with the recent development and integration of a home automation system with numerous client modules, including a remote mobile host controller, as in offices, home appliances etc.. In an environment where the number of college graduates is increasing year by year, the education of college students in career planning is particularly important. However, the practical aspects of teaching pose additional challenges. Based on big data analysis technology, this paper designs an optimization strategy for career planning education. We have established a joint school-enterprise model of career management for college graduates to streamline career matching in career planning education. We then use the improved SARIMA-BP neural network model to predict the trend of career demand, providing students with personalized career planning advice and employment guidance. Clear career planning, setting clear development goals, studying diligently, understanding one’s strengths and weaknesses, and understanding the demand for professional competence in career positions all demonstrate significant positive correlations, with correlation coefficients greater than 0.5. This indicates the necessity of a career planning education strategy based on big data analysis and its positive promotion effect on students’ development. © 2024 Bing Li and Ting Yang, published by Sciendo.

Monitoring of fetal condition during labor could save hundred lives in a single year. During labor, fetus is at critical condition as acidosis may occur suddenly without any early symptoms. Invasive method such as Fetal Blood Sampling (FBS) has been used to detect the decline in pH level of fetus. However, fetal loss rate after FBS may range from 1.4% up to 25%. In this paper, magnetic field induction spectroscopy was implemented to determine fetal acidosis by using primary magnetic field cancellation technique. Magnetic Induction Spectroscopy (MIS) probe was design where transmitter coil (TX) is perpendicular to receiver coil (RX). The result shows that the secondary magnetic field produced have been successfully measured without any interruption from primary magnetic field. By using transmitter input 1A, it shows that voltage is inversely proportional to the blood pH due to the conductivity properties of blood. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. Sales of insurance are collected monthly or yearly as statistics which most insurance companies haven’t estimated the sales for the next year. The current sales of insurance make it difficult to evaluate the market and organize various campaigns for customers. Therefore, this research has collected sales of life insurance from the website of the Office of Insurance Commission from the year 2018 - 2022. The forecasting of sales for life insurance using 4 forecasting methods which are Holt Winters' Additive, Holt Winters' Multiplicative, Simple Exponential Smoothing, and Double Exponential Smoothing. These forecasting methods are used to forecast insurance premiums one year ahead from the year 2021. The computation of total sales for 3 insurance types which are Primary-General, Primary, and Additional found that the Holt Winters' Multiplicative method is the best forecasting method with an accuracy percentage for forecasting methods of 97.56%.

أهداف البحث يُمكن أن يُسرّع التعرض للأشعة فوق البنفسجية شيخوخة الجلد. ولاستخدام المواد الكيميائية المُضادة للشيخوخة آثار جانبية طويلة المدى. ومن المعروف أن المكونات الطبيعية لفاكهة الثعبان (سالاكا زالاكا) تتميز بخصائص حيوية نشطة، مثل البوليفينولات والفلافونويدات وحمض الكلوروجينيك وحمض الكافيين، والتي تُعدّ مُضادة للشيخوخة. طرق البحث تهدف الدراسة إلى تحديد قدرة مستخلص فاكهة الثعبان كمضاد للشيخوخة من خلال اختبار مُختبري. وقد حُلِّل محتوى المستخلص بواسطة الاستشراب السائل مع قياس الطيف الكتلي الترددي. وأُجري اختبار قابلية المستخلص للبقاء على خلايا الأرومة الليفية الجلدية البشرية باستخدام اختبار WST. وقد استُحثت خلايا الأرومة الليفية بالأشعة فوق البنفسجية كنموذج خلوي للشيخوخة المُبكرة. وأُعطيت 3 جرعات من مستخلص فاكهة الثعبان (6.25 و12.5 و25 ميكروغرام/مل) لخلايا الأرومة الليفية المُحرضة بالأشعة فوق البنفسجية. تم تحليل التعبير الجيني لجينات COL1A1 وMMP-1 وFGF-2 وGPX-1 باستخدام تفاعل البوليميراز المتسلسل الكمي في الوقت الحقيقي. وتم تحليل مستويات بروتينات الإيلاستين، والهيالورونيداز، وسيكلوكسيجيناز-2، و8-هيدروكسي ديوكسي غوانوزين، والميلاتونين باستخدام اختبار إليزا. وتم تحليل موت الخلايا المبرمج لخلايا الأرومة الليفية باستخدام قياس التدفق الخلوي. واستُخدم تحليل التباين أحادي الاتجاه للتحليل الإحصائي. النتائج أدى العلاج بـمستخلص فاكهة الثعبان إلى زيادة التعبير الجيني لجينات COL1A1 وFGF-2 وGPX-1، وانخفاض التعبير الجيني لجين MMP-1. كما زاد المستخلص من مستويات الإيلاستين والميلاتونين في خلايا الأرومة الليفية المُستحثة بالأشعة فوق البنفسجية. وبعد العلاج بـمستخلص فاكهة الثعبان، انخفضت مستويات بروتينات الهيالورونيداز وسيكلوكسيجيناز-2 و8-هيدروكسي ديوكسي غوانوزين مقارنةً بمجموعة التحكم الإيجابية. نجح مستخلص فاكهة الثعبان أيضًا في الحفاظ على حياة خلايا الأرومة الليفية وتقليل موت الخلايا المبرمج فيها. الاستنتاجات يمتلك مستخلص فاكهة الثعبان القدرة على أن يكون عاملًا مضادًا للشيخوخة من خلال اختباره في المختبر.
