E-learning is a system or concept of education or learning process that utilizes information technology in the teaching and learning process anywhere and anytime. E-learning is widely applied in various fields of science. In this study, we draw scientific efforts on e-learning and entrepreneurship from publications in the Scopus database. We reviewed 218 academic documents published over the last 10 years, from 2011 to 2020. Our method is a global bibliometric analysis by visualizing connected networks using Vosviewer. The method used consists of five stages: determining search keywords, initial search results, refinement of search results, initial compilation, and data analysis. We researched several countries, affiliations, authors, subject areas, to types of publications that have relations in this field. Among the most published and indexed articles by Scopus, papers published by researchers in the China have the highest number of publications is 36 academic documents, followed by United States 18 academic publications, and Italy with 16 academic publications. The results showed that it had a limited impact, and through visualization, the network presented research gaps that future researchers should fill. The processed data shows the pattern and trend of increasing the number of international publications on E-learning in the field of entrepreneurship indexed by Scopus. Finally, we address the limitations of this study. © 2021 IEEE.

Recently, there has been a growing interest in artificial skin on hydrogels as a potential alternative for animal testing to evaluate the efficacy and safety of new drugs or cosmetics. Synthetic polymers have been widely used due to their superior physicochemical properties. However, synthetic polymers such as polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) are limited by their poor biocompatibility and cell adhesion. Combining synthetic and natural polymers can improve these properties. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to investigate the effect of alginate and chitosan addition to PVA-based hydrogels on protein adsorption, cell viability and cell attachment. The addition of chitosan decreased protein adsorption, which was caused by the changes in electrostatic charge by PVA-chitosan interaction and changes in surface roughness. Primary human fibroblast cells cultured on PVA, PVA-alginate and PVA-chitosan had >80% viability which indicates the cytocompatibility of the hydrogels. More importantly, alginate and chitosan also improved the cell attachment on the PVA-based hydrogels. Taken together, the addition of both alginate and chitosan has the potential to improve PVA-based hydrogels for artificial skin application.

This paper presents a simulation of a grid-connected photovoltaic power system. A complex model of power distribution system is developed in MATLAB Simulink, then it will be simulated to determine an amount of power delivered to the grid based on irradiance and temperature. Solar irradiance data collection is conducted using a solar irradiance meter. These weather data (solar irradiances and temperatures) are transformed into signal inputs and model through a grid-tied Photovoltaic (PV) model system which consists of PV, incremental conductance Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method, DC-DC boost converter, inverter, voltage source converter (VSC) control algorithms, and grid equipment. The output variables can be related to current, voltage or power. However, tracing of the current-voltage (I-V) characteristics or power-voltage (P-V) characteristics are the vital need to grid-tied PV system operation. Changes in solar irradiance and temperature imply changes in output variables. Detailed modelling of the effect of irradiance and temperature, on the parameters of the PV module and the output parameters will be discussed. With the aid of this model, one can have a feasible idea about the solar energy generation potential at given locations. This comprehensive model is simulated using MATLAB/Simulink software. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2019.

Generally, the electrical power supply acts as a voltage source only but many applications, current sources are needed. In conventional methods, to provide a current source, an electric power supply with variable voltage is adjusted to give the amount of current. In some electrical applications and devices, there is a demand to have a constant voltage with a variable current. This paper proposes a single phase alternating current controller as a power supply with a current source that can be adjusted using the hysteresis method. The advantage of the hysteresis method is that the electric current can follow changes in setting values and have a good response to any changes in the load given. This method, the actual current can follow the reference flow as needed. During testing, the inverter has succeeded in producing 3 Ampere 50 Hz at the output voltage of 50 Volt which is sent to the load. In applications, the proposed power supply is useful as an inverter to convert DC current into AC current. Furthermore, this proposed inverter has the opportunity as a renewable energy resource converter to convert direct current from photovoltaic to alternating current for various electronic devices in industries and households. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2019.

This study aims to predict the cost recovery rate (CRR) of inpatient cases in Indonesian hospital utilizing the powerful approaches of machine learning. The data were collected from hospital insurance claim database of a middle size Indonesian hospital. The number of observations is 15,955 datasets of inpatient cases between 2017 and 2020. The data includes patient profiles (age and sex), length of stay (LOS), severity (SEV), patient class, patient costs, treatment types and reimbursement fees from the insurer. Using logistic regression and decision tree, this study revealed that bed class, admission month, sex, discharge status, SEV, LOS, ICU treatment, surgery, supporting facilitation, radiology, laboratory, blood examination, and rehabilitation are the determinants of inpatient cases' CRR. Meanwhile, the decision tree approach revealed that LOS, bed class and SEV as the primary classifier of the inpatient cases'CRR. The results of this study can be used for the hospital managers to predict and anticipate non-covered patient costs during the first days of hospital admission and in turn minimize financial deficit of the hospital.

Indonesia is a country consisting of several islands some of which are still not covered by electricity. It is this source of PV that can be used to meet the needs of people who are not yet affordable with PLN electricity. Basically, PV includes the generation of new renewable energy types. This new form of energy comes from sunlight. Using semiconductor materials can convert energy from sunlight to electrical energy. Because in Indonesia this includes tropical climates located on the equator line, making Indonesia has a very high intensity of light. Several factors affect electrical energy, namely the extent of PV to be used, the total irradiance received by PV, the decrease in performance due to weather and cleanliness of the PV used such as snow and oiliness. In this study explained the Analysis of Irradian-based Grid Tie photovoltaic performance with Polycrystalline PV types. Taking irradian data using a Solar Power Meter, irradiance and temperature data at a certain time will use the Incremental Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method, DC-DC boost converter, inverter, voltage source converter (VSC) using algorithm and equipment controls connected to network. Especially in the mining industry, Pulse Width Modulation Voltage Source Inverters (PWM-VSI) driving induction motors located far away are often present. In this case, due to the long cable used for the converter-to-motor connection, several unwanted high-frequency phenomena are generated. In this context, a new configuration for motor drive systems was proposed, in which the rectifier is kept in its original position and the inverter bridge is installed close to the motor terminals, being the long cable used as a DC transmission line. Since this environment is always more hostile and can compromise the inverter lifetime, new concerns regarding the system reliability arise, despite the various technical-economic advantages from this new configuration. In this way, this paper presents a comprehensive comparison of commercially widely accepted multilevel inverter topologies, searching for the best technical features for the aforementioned DC transmission applicability/feasibility. Simulations were performed assessing several essential quantities/indexes, with major focus on reliability. Then, a discussion was made seeking those sets that could minimize the implementation costs and improve the system reliability, concerning the IGBTs and the Metalized Film (MFC) and Aluminum Electrolytic (AEC) capacitors of the DC link.

In a wireless sensor network context, a wireless sensor network (WSN) is a collection of sensor nodes made up of small nodes with minimal energy resources and powered solely by batteries. Sensor nodes that collaborate in large-scale area networks with limited energy and unsupervised situations, as well as poor security. Sensor node communication becomes vulnerable, and attackers use various methods to gather information about the location of the transmission packet’s originating route. The WSN research community has taken notice of this issue. To protect and prevent attackers from finding the way of the source of packet delivery, the Location Source Privacy Scheme (LSP) was implemented. The LSP system employs a variety of routing mechanisms to shield the location of the route source transmitting packets from various attacks. In addition, because WSN energy sources are limited, the LSP routing approach is employed to reduce energy consumption. The resulting assessment of current research on LSP routing strategies as route security currently utilized for WSNs in this paper and some future perspectives that are still being developed.

A vast number of technologies based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) have proliferated into various application domains. As part of its objectives to develop agents which can behave and think like humans, some branches of AI have focused on developing various algorithms that can learn from input data without explicitly being programmed. In the food industry, notably in restaurants, smartphone technology is typically used to collect data from customers efficiently such as orders or feedback toward the services provided. The use of smartphones by some restaurants is motivated by their convenience and efficiency. Furthermore, various promotions, discounts, and membership benefits offered by cellular service providers have attracted the use of smartphones as devices for improving restaurant services to their customers. This study aimed to conduct a sentiment analysis related to multi-brand restaurants in Indonesia based on customer feedback. The data retrieved from the Google Play Store consists of 756 reviews from Boga, Champs, Hangry, Ismaya, Kulo, and Union groups. In this study, TF-IDF was used as a vectorizer to represent customer feedback as numeric vectors. The polarity sentiment of customer feedback was recognized using classifier models based on machine learning such as Logistic Regression, Naive Bayes (NB), Random Forest, and Support Vector Machine (SVM) as the classifier. The empirical results showed that SVM has the best accuracy of 93.10 % average accuracy followed by Logistic Regression with 92.41 %, Random Forest with 84.14 % average accuracy, and Naive Bayes with 76.55 % average accuracy.

This study aims to know the comparison design of electric motorcycle using hybrid systems (BLDC Motor) based on parameter testing, i.e., with and without load. The design of electric motorcycles is centered on determining a feasibility study comparing engine drive with electric drive. Electric vehicles are the answer to decreasing petroleum supplies and environmental concerns that are worsening every year due to oil-fueled cars’ exhaust emissions. The proportion of motor vehicle exhaust as an air pollution source is between 60 and 70 percent. The global decrease of fossil fuels is also a critical issue that has yet to be handled. A descriptive statistic methodology was employed in this work as an analytical tool. The results showed when the speed increases, the efficiency of the BLDC motor would increase; this is, of course, following the principle of Orsted’s law and Lorentz force. When compared to the no-load test, the efficiency by using the load will be greater because when the BLDC motor works with a load, it will require greater torque due to an increase in load so that it takes a large amount of power so that it will increase the efficiency of the BLDC motor. When compared in terms of using the battery, the time of using the battery with no load will be longer because it does not require too much current.
