Indonesian river's potentials on Mini or Microhydro fuelled power plants has not been maximally explored despite its big potentials of utilization. The 500 MW energy potentials of Mini or Microhydro throughout Indonesia have only reached the point of 4.5% while National Energy Management Blueprint in 2050 targeted 31% of renewable energy (RE) is coming from Micro hydro energy. The applications of 80 mm diameter cross flow turbine in a household scale have drawn an increase in its experience with 450 Watts of power produced through small discharge of 20 liters/second and 3-meter head. Cross flow turbines testing in 130 mm length and 80 mm diameter conducted using Mini/micro hydropower Plant in environmentally friendly power House drum. Lower investment and operational design cost also to be made on its aim to reach community group or individual segments. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The deployment of large language models (LLMs) in healthcare has demonstrated substantial potential for enhancing clinical decision-making, administrative efficiency, and patient outcomes. However, the underrepresentation of diverse groups in the development and application of these models can perpetuate biases, leading to inequitable healthcare delivery. This paper presents a comprehensive scientometric analysis of LLM research for healthcare, including data from January 1, 2021, to July 1, 2024. By analyzing metadata from PubMed and Dimensions, including author affiliations, countries, and funding sources, we assess the diversity of contributors to LLM research. Our findings highlight significant gender and geographic disparities, with a predominance of male authors and contributions primarily from high-income countries (HICs). We introduce a novel journal diversity index based on Gini diversity to measure the inclusiveness of scientific publications. Our results underscore the necessity for greater representation in order to ensure the equitable application of LLMs in healthcare. We propose actionable strategies to enhance diversity and inclusivity in artificial intelligence research, with the ultimate goal of fostering a more inclusive and equitable future in healthcare innovation. © 2024, CC BY.

Admission of new students in 2019 through zoning still faces many obstacles, one of which is the readiness of the application to determine the distance of a student's house from the nearest recommended school. The purpose of this study is to provide better recommendations regarding the shortest and most accurate distance in the zoning system for admission of junior high school students in Malang by using the Generate and Test algorithm without having to do it manually or using other map applications. The results of this study indicate that the distance value obtained from the haversine formula corresponds to the original distance measured through a zoning application that applies the Generate and Test algorithm to measure the closest distance from the student's location. The recommended distance is given through a process of repetition and comparison of nodes. By using the generate and test algorithm for the search process the shortest distance from the user to the destination school has an average time of 6.2MB, the level of accuracy is the same as the Haversine calculation. © 2020 IEEE.

BackgroundHead CT is the most frequently performed examination in every hospital in Indonesia. Considering of the large radiation dose of head CT produces and eye which is one of the most sensitive organs, radioprotection is should be done for every patient of head CT. The aim of this study is to determine the radiation dose of eye lens during head CT compared to the dose limit value determined by ICRP No. 87 of 2000 and provides recommendations for examination protocols that prioritize radiation protection in order to reducing eye lens radiation dose. MethodsRadiation dose measurement of eye lens were performed on 10 patient samples using two different scanograms for every 5 patients. The first five patients had a scanogram parallel to the Orbitomeatal line (OML) and the other 5 patients had a scanogram parallel to the Supraorbitomeatal line (SOML). Radiation dose measurement is done by placing the Thermoluminescent Dosimeter 100-chip on one of the patient's eyelid surfaces. The results of the radiation dose measurements are presented and compared with the standard dose CT scan according to ICRP No. 87 2000. ResultsThe research showed that the procedure using scanogram parallel to OML get eye lens radiation dose 53.889 mGy, 50.729 mGy, 60.407 mGy, 70.952 mGy, 70.952 mGy and the other procedure which is using scanogram parallel to SOML get eye lens radiation dose 7.265 mGy, 6.944 mGy, 8.747 mGy, 6.411 mGy, 6.944 mGy. ConclusionThe procedure using scanogram parallel to the OML produces a higher dose of eye lens and it exceeds the standard head CT eye lens dose according to ICRP No. 87 of 2000. While the another procedure using scanogram parallel to SOML produces a lower radiation dose. Head CT is advised to use a scanogram parallel to SOML to reduce the eye lens radiation dose.

In late stages of Parkinson's Disease (PD) or Essential Tremor (ET), surgical treatments, such as Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), are promising. However, conventional DBS devices are open-loop systems in which the stimulation intensity is constant regardless of the dynamic behavior of motor manifestations. In this sense the seek to objective strategies that can assess the efficacy of DBS is relevant for the development of precise medicine, promoting the implementation of closed-loop DBS. This study proposes the use of individualized Gaussian models to evaluate the motor signs of people with PD and ET considering DBS in ON and OFF states. Inertial data were collected from the left and right hands and forearms of the participants. After data preprocessing, amplitude and variability-based features were extracted to estimate specific Gaussian models for each individual. An objective metric that is sensitive to the distance of models from DBS in ON and OFF states was proposed. The specific Gaussian models allowed for the estimate of tremor probability in the DBS states. The estimated values of the proposed metric discriminated between the DBS ON and OFF states, and the verification of the DBS effect on the motor sign of each individual. The specific Gaussian models can be used as part of a closed-loop DBS system to estimate the tremor severity of patients.

Simulation on directed graphs is an important method for understanding the dynamics in the systems where connectivity graphs contain cycles. Discrete Stochastic Heterogeneous Simulator (DiSH) is one of the simulation tools with wide application, which uses regulator values to calculate state updates of regulated elements. Here we present a new simulation approach DiSH-trend which also takes into account the trends in regulating elements. We demonstrate the features of trend-based regulation, as well as hybrid regulation, which is a combination of the trend- and level-based approaches. The modeling capabilities are demonstrated on a small toy model, showcasing different functionalities. Real-world capabilities are demonstrated on a larger network model of food insecurity in the Ethiopian region Oromia. Adding trend-based regulation to models results in increased modeling flexibility, and hybrid regulation improves qualitative dynamic behavior prediction. With appropriate data, DiSH-trend becomes a powerful tool for exploring intervention strategies. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Learning media is a means of learning for students that can provide a real picture of real work that has a high risk if it is carried out directly. Learning media has a role in facilitating students to be able to experience it directly with minimal risk from a practicum. Analyzing the need for making learning media is very important for the development of real learning media. This study aims to: (1) Determine the need for the development of learning media for IOT-based smart building installation systems in Vocational High School (VHS); (2) Analyzing the needs used in the development of learning media for IOT-based smart building installation systems in VHS. The results showed that the things needed in developing IOT learning media were seen from the technology used in the form of (1) Software based on media interaction with the internet using a visual studio; (2) Arduino Uno, temperature sensor device, ESP8266, gas sensor and light sensor are needed as hardware to reflect building capabilities; (3) The cloud computing system uses spread sheets to store data; (4) Internet network for uploading and downloading data. In its implementation, a needs analysis for the development of instructional media is needed so that in the later development process the media is developed appropriately and on target. The results of research and development research using the ADDIE method need the development of learning media for IOT-based smart building installation systems in vocational high schools to improve the learning abilities of students.

One of the most difficult jobs in remote sensing is dealing with traffic bottlenecks at airports. This fact has been confirmed by several studies attempting to resolve this issue. Among a wide range of approaches employed, the most successful methods have been based on airplane object recognition using satellite images as datasets for deep learning models. Airplane object identification is not a viable method for resolving traffic congestion. There are several types of airplanes at the airport, each with its own set of requirements and specifications. Utilising satellite pictures will require the use of complex equipment, which is a financial burden. In this work, a universal, low-cost and efficient solution for airport traffic congestion is proposed. Drone-captured aerial pictures are used to train and assess a Mask Region Convolution Neural Network model. This model can detect the presence of any aircraft in a photograph and pinpoint its location. It also includes mask estimations to properly identify each detected airplane type based on the estimated surface area and cabin length, which are crucial variables in distinguishing planes. The study is conducted using Microsoft's Common Object in Context (COCO) metrics, average accuracies and a confusion matrix, all of which demonstrate the approach's potential in providing valuable aid for dealing with traffic congestion at airports. The Augmented Whole-body Scanning via Magnifying PET (AWSM-PET) device is a novel technology designed to improve the detectability of lesions in whole-body PET/CT imaging. We have developed a prototype AWSM-PET device that consists of two panels of high-resolution time-of-flight (TOF) PET detectors, integrated with the standard readout electronics and event processing architecture of the Biograph Vision (Siemens Healthineers). The system exhibits excellent spatial, energy and timing resolution, with an average coincidence resolving time of $\sim 217$ ps FWHM and an average energy resolution of $\sim 11 \%$ FWHM at 511 keV. Custom firmware and software have been developed to encode the large number of detector elements and to form coincidences between the AWSM-PET detectors and the Biograph Vision scanner. We have pioneered a specialized image reconstruction approach utilizing a GPU-based list-mode framework, which incorporates the system’s point-spread function (PSF) to optimize image quality and spatial resolution. Continuous-bed motion (CBM) whole-body imaging protocols have been implemented for the AWSM-PET operation to improve the uniformity of sensitivity across the patient’s body. Sensitivity enhancement was evaluated using a point source. The first human subject study was a head-andneck cancer patient scheduled for a standard-of-care (SOC) FDG PET/CT scan following treatment. Both the SOC-PET/CT images and the AWSM-PET images were acquired simultaneously for a total of 17 minutes using the CBM mode. Results show high-resolution and high-quality AWSM-PET images. We anticipate to image more patients in the summer, refine AWSM-PET image reconstruction parameters and correction techniques. Comparison between the AWSM-PET and the SOC-PET/CT will be presented at the 2024 IEEE MIC conference.
